31/01/2025: August 2024 We were in L'Aquila for the day and they took me to Franchino, what can I say, he is very kind and friendly, very nice, the service is exceptional and the food is of a superlative quality, everything is truly delicious, every dish is a delicacy, we will definitely be back, highly recommended !

12/01/2025: To say spectacular would be an understatement. Let's start from the welcome. Everyone was super kind even towards our medium sized dog who was treated very well, she even had her own bowl. The staff were all truly impeccable, from availability to care and attention to the customer. The food was excellent, typical cuisine with strong and tasty flavours. Generous portions. I recommend everyone to go there We had three first courses, a second course, wine, water, appetizers and dessert

10/02/2025: Excellent lunch on 02/09/25, we were 4 adults and a little girl, they welcomed us with a bruschetta with an excellent oil, we had a rustic appetizer accompanied with cheese and egg pallotte, the little girl some excellent meatballs with sauce, the dish of the day was a fresh pasta with burrata, black olives and cherry tomatoes, then a fan of pork and lamb with cheese and where (I highly recommend) sweets and bitter coffee, what can I say we had a great time and the girls' service was impeccable they were very kind, we arrived at 1pm and at 2.45pm we had finished lunch very quickly.

01/02/2025: Very nice and welcoming environment, kind and very attentive staff, very good food (especially the very tender meat and the cheese and egg balls). Extra attention: The dish is heated before serving. We had a very good time.

22/01/2025: Every time I'm in the area or passing through I MUST stop at this establishment. It's true that the hotel isn't the most modern, but in 6 years I've never found anything out of place. Always spotless, with excellent services and the restaurant is the icing on the cake. A simple and simply delicious cuisine. The restaurant service deserves 6 stars, unfortunately the maximum is 5... Keep it up!! :)

08/01/2025: We didn’t stay at the hotel but just stopped for lunch on our way to Rome. A friend recommended this restaurant and it was a welcomed recommendation. The food is excellent as well as the service. This was our first time to try this place but it won’t be our last. Can highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was tasty.

25/01/2025: Ottimo rifugio accanto a poste da neve. Locale climatizzato, pulito , con servizio bar. Hanno dei tavoli per pranzare(vi consiglio di andarci prestoverso le 12.00) . È possibile degustare primi e secondi. La pappardella ai funghi porcini è super!

25/01/2025: UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE We had a reservation at 2pm, but at 1.30pm we were called because they wanted to assign our table to other customers since they had mistakenly marked us for 1pm. When we arrived at 1.45pm the welcome was terrible, but in any case it had nothing to do with the continuation of lunch. One of the waiters was particularly intrusive during the service, constantly appearing at the table and standing between us in silence, creating a lot of embarrassment. The climax came at dessert time: a boy was undecided about the order and he walked away huffing and then came back and made a mess when taking the order. To top it off he stood behind us while we ate the desserts. Really a shame because the dishes are very good and the bill is adequate

23/01/2025: Ottimo cibo . Abbiamo preso un carpaccio di cervo ,pappardelle al cinghiale e salsiccia ! Tutto ottimo. Per non parlare del croccante con crema chantilly. Servizio veloce e impeccabile. Personale professionale e super disponibile Prezzi nella media . Qualità prezzo TOP

16/02/2025: Ho pranzato in questo ristorante oggi a pranzo. Ambiente accogliente, personale gentile e cibo di buona qualità. Ho riscontrato molta lentezza nel servizio ma quello che mi ha lasciato fortemente perplesso è stata la mancanza di tatto da parte della proprietà. Ho ordinato un carpaccio di angus che all’occhio non mi ha soddisfatto. Ho chiesto di portarlo indietro e ho fatto presente che lo avrei pagato ugualmente. L’eleganza vuole che un piatto non toccato (e sicuro dato ad altri) lo togli dal conto. Non è stato cosí. Profonda delusione. Molto meglio Campiglio ma anche la nostra Roccaraso. Non si fa turismo cosí. Due antipasti, due calici di vino tipo Tavernello, due secondi, due dolci (di cui uno spettacolare) e una minerale + la portata non mangiata 98 €. Non ci tornerò mai più.
