Trattoria Don Ciccio In Sulmona

A pleasant surprise...a small restaurant with just a few seats and an open kitchen. The tasting menu is worth a visit for its abundance and quality. Excellent value, highly recommended.

I was in Sulmona a few days ago with my family and accidentally discovered this small but magnificent restaurant. The open kitchen is already a great calling card. We ordered everything from appetizers to dessert, and everything was delicious. The dishes were generous and beautifully cooked, each perfectly balanced and an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The service was impeccable, prompt and attentive to our requests. The atmosphere was very welcoming and refined. Finally, I would like to personally thank the entire staff for the care and kindness they showed my daughter, without even charging me for the dish they prepared for her that wasn't on the menu because, for health reasons, she couldn't eat anything else. Thank you so much, and it was a pleasure meeting you...see you next time.

A fantastic place! The food is simply divine – every dish is exquisitely crafted, full of flavor, and full of local character. It was a truly incredible culinary experience, and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere perfectly captures the spirit of wonderful Sulmona – warm, authentic, and full of heart. It would be a shame not to eat here while in Sulmona. I highly recommend it!

While passing through Sulmona, we dined at this charming trattoria. The staff was incredibly friendly (my daughter has trouble with her food, and they accommodated her with wonderful kindness) and the food was excellent. Excellent value for money. I recommend the menu, which changes frequently (all typical Abruzzo dishes), so if you're craving something specific, it's best to let us know when you book.
