01/10/2025: An excellent supplì, and an exquisite Margherita pizza, but the one with anchovies is also good in an informal, well-kept place, the fried foods are also excellent, I highly recommend coming here, I personally will return.

27/10/2025: We obviously went with a reservation, and even though it's the end of the season, the place attracts a lot of people on nice days. The welcome was excellent, the staff professional, if not downright friendly. We asked, as we have two small children, if they could serve them first, and they obliged. We were able to enjoy their excellent pizza, the anchovy and zucchini parmigiana, the sublime lamb, and the delicious desserts—everything was delicious. Of course, the prices are a little higher than usual, but given the enchanting location, it's worth it!

22/10/2025: I wouldn't go back. You have to climb a lot of stairs to reach this pizzeria, so I don't recommend it at all for people with mobility issues. The pizzas weren't bad, but they were nowhere near up to par with those in the Neapolitan region. The staff was very friendly, but the bill was exorbitant for a pizzeria. I don't recommend it. We wanted to sit on the terrace, but apparently they weren't from the restaurant. The restaurant has a small, prefabricated wooden terrace with two tables, and it was occupied. We went based on reviews and left very disappointed.

29/06/2025: Unfortunately, after the last restyling, it has lost its charm. Casa Albero was not only food, but a comfortable environment with a board on the commandments of wine, which each time inspired a smile and reflection, because after all it was not just about wine. I understand that it is a time of boom in customers, but you can't eliminate an open kitchen and strip the walls of those same furnishings that together with good food gave a few hours of pure pleasure, for what? Yes, the food is always excellent, but the room is now insipid, bare, and when there are too many people the service inevitably drops because you find yourself with two waiters of dubious competence (no offense to the owner, but I have been repeatedly bumped into by hands and plates, and he ends up paying for their low competence). Recommended but, I repeat, only for the good food.

02/09/2025: We went to this beach in person 20 days before our vacation to ask if there was availability for an umbrella for a certain period. They explained to us that the situation wasn't easy for them (which I understand). They also said there wouldn't be any problems, the space would be available; we just had to contact them a few days in advance. We wrote a few days before and they told us that the entire period wasn't available and that three days would be vacant. That's fine. They gave us the price (which wasn't the one we'd discussed, but that's fine; it was a busy day, she must have been confused). We tried to negotiate the price a bit and were told that they weren't a stall and that they don't hold auctions. That's fine, we apologize and accept, and we send the deposit. On our first day under the umbrella, the weather was practically unbearable, and the lady kindly advised us not to go down and that she would let us make up for it. This gesture was appreciated, and we promptly repaid her by eating (deliciously) on the beach despite having a house just a few meters away and a supermarket right next door. The surprise is that, if you get a period of uncertain weather (and I don't mean bad weather), the lines for umbrellas are halved and the party begins, something we obviously hadn't been told about (just like the shower, which isn't included in the umbrella rental; it's €15, including a €5 deposit for a card—well, that's fine, too). Basically, if it weren't for the staff at the bar, the spotlessly clean open kitchen, and the empathetic and professional lifeguards, this review would have one star. From the moment the lines are halved, everyone RIGHTFULLY wants the service they paid for, the place they paid for. Since it was frequented by a very relaxed, adult, and well-mannered clientele, there were no major problems for 10 days. The beach was self-managed, except that on the last day, an argument broke out between the beachgoers and the owner (who pretended to be the manager) came down and asked my pregnant partner and I to move the umbrella we'd paid for because she thought we wouldn't be going on the last day (despite the fact that it was expensive) and that we hadn't told them the days before that we'd be using it until the last day. And then, last but not least, she said, "Go to the back row because I'm in charge here and I make decisions." We didn't start any arguments; we simply pointed out that we were under the umbrella assigned to us. They're lucky because they're in an area with few alternatives: a tiny beach with umbrellas glued together. Your lounger is practically glued to the one next to it, maybe 20-30cm apart at most, so anyone in that area is almost forced to use it. The alternative would be the public beach. There were four of us (my partner, my parents, and I), but every day we set up our umbrellas on the public beach (since we'd brought them for the open-air days), so as not to crowd together even more (also because it's prohibited by the rules). Since it's very likely that this will be denied, I'm attaching a photo, one of which shows how the water practically rises, forcing us to remove the umbrellas (which really bothers me, and in fact we were silent for the entire duration of the holiday, and despite this, we were told who's in charge and who's not). Kindness is probably mistaken for foolishness.

Spaghetti with clams and tuna bottarga: no tuna bottarga, the spaghetti al dente, the clams plentiful...no connection. Two separate first courses on the same plate. Cost €25 The tuna steak and fried calamari were good. Prices are a bit high...you pay for the view. 4 first courses and 2 second courses with a glass of wine €180

19/06/2025: We went at 7 p.m. and were told the kitchen opened at 8 p.m. We took a shower and came back at 9:30 p.m. and the kitchen was already closed! Google says they're open until 12 p.m. Besides, you could have told us the first time we asked.

02/07/2025: Credo sia la stessa pizzeria di Cava, alla quale sono affezionato da anni. Con piacere, scopro che hanno aperto anche nella mia Salerno, motivo per il quale, entusiasta, decido di provarlo. Locale curatissimo, pulito, accogliente. Pizze buone, prezzi non modici, ma tutto sommato nella media. Il vero neo è il personale di sala. Apre le danze la signorina "Gianna", che, dopo aver atteso qualche secondo per iniziare l'ordine (l'interlocutore in quel momento era mio padre, quasi ottantenne), sbotta volgarmente e chiede al suo collega di seguire il tavolo, perché, a suo dire, stavamo perdendo solo tempo, il tutto condito dal suo invidiabile charme. Mi trattengo, cerco di capire chi sia il proprietario per le dovute rimostranze, ma desisto. Il collega, decisamente più gentile, ascolta le nostre richieste, con la cortesia di servire per primi i bimbi presenti al tavolo (tra i 3 e i 7 anni). Da quel momento, non si capisce più nulla. Arrivano bevande non ordinate, e di quelle ordinate alcune si "perdono" (la mia birra ho dovuto chiederla cinque volte). Poi, il turno delle pizze. Arrivano quasi a tutti, di quelle dei bambini nessuna traccia. Chiedo lumi al cameriere, e, per la prima volta nella mia vita, mi sento rispondere che non poteva dare la priorità ai bambini (se n'è ricordato solo dopo). Sono tentato di nuovo di cercare il proprietario, ma desisto di nuovo. Sarebbe stata, molto probabilmente, solo una grossa perdita di tempo (come questa, del resto). Credo abbia tutte le potenzialità per essere un'ottima pizzeria, ma la disorganizzazione e la maleducazione di qualcuno rendono il tutto scarsamente digeribile. Arrivederci a Cava

10/05/2025: Sono ritornato a pranzo con un amico, presi una parmigiana di melanzana affogata di pomodoro, l’ha andai ad assaggiare era ancora congelata nell’interno,il mio amico le polpette erano rovente da microonde orribile. Di primo presi una genovese senza amore per la cucina, altro primo con il baccalà. Mio dio vorrei dire a chi gestisce il locale, fate la pizza la cucina e un arte si fà con passione. 21/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, and will definitely return. We ate wonderfully, and could taste the flavor of every ingredient. It was home cooking that left us speechless.

14/09/2025: Unfortunately we were there, but the place was closed for holidays... meanwhile I'll give 5 stars for the exterior of the place... it took me back to when I was a child, I can't imagine the attention to detail used inside... We'll organize ourselves as soon as it reopens for reservations! Fairytale place... beautiful!!!

04/09/2025: This place is definitely to be avoided, considering the guests with multiple criminal convictions, such as De Crescenzo, who was invited in September 2025. Inviting these guests shows what kind of people the owners of the place are. Stay away from this place.
