03/06/2026: The blue pupil wanders in disturbing ways where hygiene plummets and then accuracy is lacking in the preparation of an iced coffee or whatever because key elements such as whipped cream are missing while at the checkout there is no precision whatsoever in the different types of coffee on display since there are only two offered and that is how a cold Battipaglia night melted in a few seconds at the ethereal contact due to perpetuated summer anguish.

02/09/2025: We went to this beach in person 20 days before our vacation to ask if there was availability for an umbrella for a certain period. They explained to us that the situation wasn't easy for them (which I understand). They also said there wouldn't be any problems, the space would be available; we just had to contact them a few days in advance. We wrote a few days before and they told us that the entire period wasn't available and that three days would be vacant. That's fine. They gave us the price (which wasn't the one we'd discussed, but that's fine; it was a busy day, she must have been confused). We tried to negotiate the price a bit and were told that they weren't a stall and that they don't hold auctions. That's fine, we apologize and accept, and we send the deposit. On our first day under the umbrella, the weather was practically unbearable, and the lady kindly advised us not to go down and that she would let us make up for it. This gesture was appreciated, and we promptly repaid her by eating (deliciously) on the beach despite having a house just a few meters away and a supermarket right next door. The surprise is that, if you get a period of uncertain weather (and I don't mean bad weather), the lines for umbrellas are halved and the party begins, something we obviously hadn't been told about (just like the shower, which isn't included in the umbrella rental; it's €15, including a €5 deposit for a card—well, that's fine, too). Basically, if it weren't for the staff at the bar, the spotlessly clean open kitchen, and the empathetic and professional lifeguards, this review would have one star. From the moment the lines are halved, everyone RIGHTFULLY wants the service they paid for, the place they paid for. Since it was frequented by a very relaxed, adult, and well-mannered clientele, there were no major problems for 10 days. The beach was self-managed, except that on the last day, an argument broke out between the beachgoers and the owner (who pretended to be the manager) came down and asked my pregnant partner and I to move the umbrella we'd paid for because she thought we wouldn't be going on the last day (despite the fact that it was expensive) and that we hadn't told them the days before that we'd be using it until the last day. And then, last but not least, she said, "Go to the back row because I'm in charge here and I make decisions." We didn't start any arguments; we simply pointed out that we were under the umbrella assigned to us. They're lucky because they're in an area with few alternatives: a tiny beach with umbrellas glued together. Your lounger is practically glued to the one next to it, maybe 20-30cm apart at most, so anyone in that area is almost forced to use it. The alternative would be the public beach. There were four of us (my partner, my parents, and I), but every day we set up our umbrellas on the public beach (since we'd brought them for the open-air days), so as not to crowd together even more (also because it's prohibited by the rules). Since it's very likely that this will be denied, I'm attaching a photo, one of which shows how the water practically rises, forcing us to remove the umbrellas (which really bothers me, and in fact we were silent for the entire duration of the holiday, and despite this, we were told who's in charge and who's not). Kindness is probably mistaken for foolishness.

10/05/2026: A terrible experience from every perspective. We arrived at 2:30 PM and the first course arrived at 4:00 PM: pappardelle with mushrooms, completely raw, dry, and inedible. The mushrooms seemed haphazardly chopped, flavorless, and without even a hint of cream or seasoning. A truly embarrassing dish. The service was nonexistent: only one waitress for about 100 people, totally disorganized and confused. You'd ask for bread and she'd bring you more, without understanding anything. The problem was that the bread, among other things, was out, and no one bothered to let us know. We had to find out by overhearing another table talking. The ice was also out. A situation like that in a restaurant is absurd. The two "waiters" were also rude and uninterested. At one point, the waitress almost seemed to expect me to take my order myself using her notebook, which was probably from 1982. Zero professionalism. The second course was even worse: after another interminable wait, half-cold fries arrived first, followed by badly cut steaks, covered in fat and extremely tough. It tasted like poor-quality meat, impossible to eat without choking. The place was unkempt and dirty. The table had a floor-length tablecloth, completely black and stained: I tripped on it twice. Even the handkerchiefs looked dirty, and the air smelled of dirt and neglect. Spiders, insects, and various animals were everywhere. Outside, there were animals locked in cages in appalling conditions: dirty, malnourished dogs surrounded by excrement. A truly sad and disgusting scene. To top it all off, there was karaoke like at a local fair, with people going from table to table, shouting out off-key songs at a very high volume, making the atmosphere even more annoying and chaotic. And the final moment was the best: I ran to the bathroom, and the journey felt like I was walking through the Amazon rainforest, among tarantulas, lizards, and various other animals. The only thing missing was Indiana Jones. In conclusion, one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. Terrible food, lackluster organization, dirty environment, and endless waits. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
