At this authentic restaurant, I tried both the generous meat menu with delicious, homemade vegetable sides (the prosciutto was excellent); and the fish dinner, the seafood appetizer being excellent and highly recommended. The owner is truly hospitable and friendly. I'll definitely be back! I was delighted to return to Vico do Vattariello for dinner...as I told Gianluigi (always very hospitable and kind), the appetizer was plentiful, rich, and varied, and truly delicious...my compliments for the quality of the products!

Although the food is good, average (nothing special, though), it's important to note that the prices for a land-based menu (€50 per person, including a starter and a first course) are shamefully absurd. Unjustified! Paradoxical, and never again. When we asked for a receipt, we were turned away with the banal excuse that the till had broken.

19/10/2025: An absolute hidden gem! You wouldn’t know from the street that it’s even there. Stunning views for sunset, aesthetic designed roof top with a mini pool. Great cocktails and friendly staff. Loved the little snacks with the drinks too.
05/10/2025: Beautiful rooftop view and great food and service. Limited menu but everything we had was delicious.

Casa Rubini

29/09/2025: An excellent place to spend a few days in Paestum in peace and comfort. Just two minutes from the Archaeological Park, with breakfast and parking included, it's a truly welcoming property. Meticulously maintained, it also offers rooms with whirlpool tubs. The owner is truly a wonderful lady. Go there!
18/07/2025: We only spent one night at Casa Rubini, but it was more than enough to appreciate the property: just steps from the archaeological site, the room was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and welcoming, and spotlessly clean. The lady who welcomed us was extremely kind, and...the breakfast: FABULOUS!
