A Putea is a restaurant in a quiet area of ​​Cava, far from the city center and the noise, perfect for a convivial dinner. The location recreates the atmosphere of an ancient cellar, where you can enjoy amazing dishes from our Campania tradition. In my opinion, the Genoese candles were expertly crafted, and the parmigiana literally took me back in time, as it's so close to my grandmother's recipe. The wine selection is extensive and carefully selected. If you choose La Putea, you're guaranteed elegance, taste, and quality, thanks in part to the warm and attentive owner and staff. A delightful discovery.

This place is extremely distinctive. A place reminiscent of the past. We tasted some fantastic cured meats, not to mention the parmigiana and potatoes with truffles. Home-made flavors presented in an elegant and refined way, all complemented by a relaxing atmosphere perfect for dining as a couple or a group, while also enjoying an excellent wine.

A wonderful discovery! ❤️ Putea isn't your typical restaurant where you simply go for a meal: it's a place where the location, atmosphere, and cuisine create a true experience. We started with the bruschetta, especially the A' Signora and Don Emilio, truly delicious and original. Next came the Parmigiana and the Quasi Caprese, both excellent, and then we tried several first and second courses. It's hard to find something we didn't like! What struck us most was the attention to detail in the dishes and the quality of the ingredients, with flavors that showcase local cuisine without being banal. And then there's the location... surrounded by greenery, quiet and charming, perfect for enjoying a totally relaxing evening. Kudos also to the staff: kind, professional, and attentive, but never intrusive. We truly enjoyed our stay and left with one certainty: we'll definitely be back in Putea! ❤️ 5 stars absolutely deserved!

A fantastic experience away from the chaos and heat of the coast, just above Vietri, a contemporary venue with a fantastic menu rooted in the local excellence...very friendly staff. The wine list is incredible! Everything was great, thank you Gianparide. Great job in a tough area.

It's always nice to come back here: a charming place to eat in the cool of the village, in a truly pleasant atmosphere. The food is excellent. My only disappointment this year was not being able to find gluten-free bruschetta. I came back specifically for that, because this place is renowned for its bruschetta, and knowing that we celiacs could enjoy it too was truly a plus. In the end, I chose something else, and it was all very good, but I sincerely hope they'll be reintroduced to the menu soon: they were a truly special and much-appreciated offering.

Putea is located in a lovely little square in Cava, not far from the center but in a very quiet area. There's free parking. Two of us went on a very windy July evening: for these occasions, you need to bring tablecloth clips (or corner weights) and outdoor ashtrays, which they didn't have, so we stood guard throughout the dinner! We hadn't booked (that is, they didn't respond to our Instagram reservation from 6:30 PM for 9 PM), but they seated us anyway. Unfortunately, in the numerous posts they'd made promoting the bruschetteria, they'd neglected to specify that it wasn't possible on a Saturday night (perhaps, had I known, I'd gone there specifically for this, and would have done so during the week). So, we settled on a cheese board (14 euros for two) and a charcuterie board (14 euros for two), followed by a main course of cod with vegetables (20 euros for a good, but medium-small, piece, served without even refilling the appetizer bread). The service seriously needs reviewing: they poured me water and turned my glass upside down (and left it wet), they served us the charcuterie board and dropped a slice on the previous wet tablecloth, they took away the cheese board with a piece still on it and dropped it on the floor... help! If it weren't for the high quality of the ingredients, I would have given much less, especially because if you present yourself in a certain way, expectations rise... and you have to live up to them.

The food is excellent, as is the service. The dessert is mouth-watering.

Amazing food!! View is fantastic. Don't speak englisch. Only italian. But we got there in the end with google translate. You can pay with card but machine didn't work. Recommand cash.

My husband and I dined on the evening of May 1st at this lovely restaurant, located outside Cava dei Tirreni but easily accessible by car following GPS directions. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. We dined inside because it was a bit chilly, but the restaurant also has a delightful outdoor seating area with a mountain view and under the trees. The restaurant itself is also very pleasant and tastefully decorated inside. The dishes are tasty, simple yet sophisticated in preparation and presentation. The meat selection is excellent, as is the wine list. A truly pleasant discovery.
