18/11/2025: I go out for lunch or dinner every day for work and usually don't write reviews, but for this place I really feel the need! As soon as I walked in the door, I realized I'd come to the wrong place, but I had no choice since all the other restaurants were closed! In my opinion, the place is terribly kept! I ordered a seafood appetizer and a grilled fish. The appetizer is huge! Definitely worth sharing, and I would have appreciated it if someone had told me that! The food was poor, cold, and I hope it won't hurt me! I left more than half of it! The grilled fish was worse than the appetizer! The fish, in my opinion, was frozen, not fresh as advertised! €40 and strangely, they told me the POS was having problems. I replied: "I don't have cash, if the card doesn't work, I can't pay!" Magically, it started working again! Moral of the story, I gave two stars only because the owner's dog, who spent a good part of the evening on the table, was cute!

10/01/2026: Terrible experience: unbelievable rudeness reigns supreme and tax irregularities: NEVER AGAIN.
I'm giving one star only because it's not possible to give zero. Food aside, what happened at the register is unacceptable, an experience bordering on the absurd. We were a group of five, and the total bill was €50. Despite asking to each pay our own (since there were substantial differences between what we'd ordered), the lady at the register verbally attacked us.
She demanded that we pay the "Roman bill" (€10 each), and when we legitimately refused and explained our reasons, she called us cheap and stingy in front of everyone, including the staff, who made no effort to stop the lady.
It's unacceptable for a business owner to judge and offend customers based on how they decide to split their bills.
In addition to the rudeness, we had to ask for a receipt several times because he wouldn't issue one, only doing so after our repeated insistence. Zero professionalism, no respect for the customer, and questionable tax management.
If you want to be insulted while paying (and struggle to get a receipt), go ahead. For us, it was the first and last time.
P.S. I also wanted to add that we were doing the calculation between ourselves and then giving the total directly to the lady.

12/10/2025: Good croissant, watery cappuccino, reasonably quick service, although the waitress seemed a bit annoyed. Some tables are practically in front of the bathrooms, so due to the crowds and the unpleasant smell, we changed seats, even though pigeons keep you company everywhere. Being on the harbor, there was a constant flow of motorcycles, cars, and garbage trucks. The sea view was beautiful.

26/12/2025: No Coca-Cola at all. Disregard for cutlery and glasses. Appetizer with stale prosciutto, flavorless salami with only garlic-flavored oil and cheese. It was probably cut with a garlic-stained knife or on a cutting board used for garlic. "Pappardelle ai funghi" was sticky and lacked salt. The meat was ordered rare... It was medium rare. Good, as were the baked potatoes (perhaps dried), but not worth the price. Limoncello was water and alcohol. No cane sugar.
Poor service, with constant mistakes and a lack of products.
The only thing we appreciated was the view of the pool, beautiful and useful in the summer.
The price is not worth what we ate, considering it's considered agritourism.
25/12/2025: Dirty cutlery, dirty glasses, black cold cuts. Indecent pasta. Exorbitant prices. No, sorry. Absurd.

05/01/2026: The restaurant is located in the Plaza shopping center and has an outdoor location with a classic homely feel. The food itself is good and the service is quick.
04/01/2026: Terrible experience. We ordered three sandwiches for home delivery, and asked how long it would take, being told it would be delivered in 30 minutes to 40 minutes.
But to get them, we ended up having to wait 2 hours for a sandwich that was actually cold...

20/08/2025: Palinuro is beautiful, worth a visit. Speaking of the structure, the rooms are poor, the bathrooms are not maintained, there is no mini fridge, the mattress is more comfortable than the one on the beach, for those with leg problems there is no adequate service.

30/09/2025: I hate to leave a negative review, but I have to. I used to frequent this bar often, but I'll avoid it. A few weeks ago, I stopped by with a friend who wasn't familiar with it, and he ended up actually liking it. At the bar, we ordered two Cokes at the counter, which my friend paid for, and then two more at the tables outside, which I ended up paying for by card and then we left. We returned a couple of weeks later and ordered more, but when it came time to pay, it told us there were two more Cokes left to pay. It seemed strange to me, so I checked the app, and it showed that I had paid for the Cokes. The girl also confirmed that she remembered me, but she didn't remember my friend. My friend tried to check the app, but unfortunately it didn't work, so to solve the problem immediately, I paid for them without waiting for verification. The next day, my friend accessed the app and verified that the payment had been made, sending me a screenshot. Since I was near the bar getting a coffee, I pointed out, without demanding anything, that perhaps they had made a mistake. The response I got was: "Who's to tell me I created that screenshot?" After a few seconds, I was asked to clear the counter and leave. I didn't bat an eyelid and left. A few hours later, my friend came by, once again not for the Cokes that had already been paid for, but to point out that perhaps they made a mistake last time and that the transaction was valid. Instead of apologizing, they arrogantly wanted to give him his money back and asked him to leave and never come back? At this point, given the incident, I will avoid going back. To err is human, but if you do, at least apologize. I paid for any oversight the day before without any verification and apologized. After verification, I didn't expect anything, but at least an apology to my friend and not for what happened. PS: All things considered, I'm not clear on the absurd situation and I'm wondering: Are you sure the reference table was ours, given that we only ordered two Cokes at that table? But then, why did the problem appear a few weeks later and not when I paid? When I came to pay, should there have been (mistakenly) 4 Cokes listed instead of 2, why wasn't it reported to me?

First of all: I didn't yell at anyone, nor did I take it personally. I simply pointed out, politely, that my friend's transaction had been processed, so I was attacked and kicked out. I politely left without batting an eyelid. Let's dot the i's.
I think you're confused: I don't live in Salerno, but in Milan, and I've only been to your bar a handful of times (three this month, and that was years ago). I always pay by card, so it's clear I've never left any open accounts. I've never been chased by anyone to pay: this makes me think you're either confused or making it all up just to avoid admitting the mistake. The problem wasn't the money, but the attitude: instead of apologizing, you reacted with arrogance and unfounded accusations. Without my friend's proof of payment, I apologized and paid without waiting for his verification. After my friend verified that the transaction had been made, I would have expected an apology from him, but that wasn't the case. They know me in Torrione and they know what kind of person I am, so I'll let the reader judge. Best regards, and congratulations to the staff!

28/09/2025: It's a real shame, a new bar treating new customers this way: I walk in and ask for two Cokes. I immediately pay €4 by card. I sit on the stools outside, everything is fine. We order two more, my friend pays €5 by card. A week later (my friend had been there before), we go back. At the final bill, they tell us that a week earlier we left without paying! We show him the two bills on the bank app, and his response? They're fake, who knows what you did. Then, rudely, he says: "Take the €4 and never come back." I've never seen such a ploy, and obviously I left the money there. Truly ridiculous. I'll gladly speak to the owner; I expect a sincere apology, not the rudeness and deceit of his employees.

04/02/2026: The place isn't very clean, the desserts are good, and the staff isn't at all polite or professional. They don't say hello when you come in or when you leave, so much so that I was sometimes tempted not to say hello either, but my good manners prevented me. It seems like they owe you a favor... Even a smile would be enough, dammit!

Private parking is available. Prices are moderate. In short, this lido is highly recommended for both young people and families.

A humiliating experience: we were seated at the table, with water already served, and immediately afterward the waiter arrived and asked us to get up because "the table was reserved." An embarrassing scene, in full view of the other customers.
A total lack of organization and good manners, evidently unknown to the staff.
Forced to move, we ordered pizza at 9 PM with a promise of arrival at 10:15 PM... unacceptable times and terrible management.
First and last time.
Be the judge.
