10/12/2025: Ok, I have a love hate relationship with this store...it is hit and miss in this store. You can have moody cashiers that rub you the wrong way yet a manager who is always nice and helpful. The veg men like their job it seems, and will be gutted I think if he doesn't make it to the scale in time to weigh and tag your bag. Remember - never touch the fruit and veg without gloves/bag on your hands..maybe pass on the prepackaged flat breads on top of the deli counter, as sometimes they are prone to mold, too fresh? But big ticket items, like fridges A1, and they really try to help you.
24/07/2025: Good discount store, well-stocked.
The prices are affordable, the fruit and vegetables are mixed, and there are nice counters for fish, bread, meat, and delicatessen.
The delicatessen staff is also very friendly and helpful.
They also stock a wide range of items, insect repellent, and there are always enough open checkouts to avoid wasting time.
I'm not giving it 5 stars only because it's not very tidy and lacks some details.
Anyway, it's an excellent place to do your shopping.

23/10/2025: Instead of selling bus tickets at the shops with the Tabacchi sign in Piazza Duomo, I visited a place that told me to buy bus tickets.
10/10/2025: I stopped by this small supermarket in Ravello and was so impressed by their “Ravello” sandwich — absolutely delicious! The place has such a lovely, local charm, and the elderly couple running it were incredibly kind and welcoming. You can really feel their warmth and care in everything they do. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Ravello!

04/02/2026: The place isn't very clean, the desserts are good, and the staff isn't at all polite or professional. They don't say hello when you come in or when you leave, so much so that I was sometimes tempted not to say hello either, but my good manners prevented me. It seems like they owe you a favor... Even a smile would be enough, dammit!

12/10/2025: Pasta was PERFECTLY done al dente and the views were spectacular. Very local seafood restaurant on the coast. The waiter brought over the daily catch and had a few recommendations, that were all very simple, but very flavorful. Our table of 4 all got different pasta and fish dishes for a lunch and they were all delicious. Pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend and would definitely go back! Grazie Mille!
26/09/2025: Terrible- overpriced and not good. Eat somewhere else. ordered a green salad and they gave us iceberg lettuce with a dry lemon and no dressing. Fish noodles were oily and undercooked and had a tiny piece of fish- maybe like two bites worth. Pizza was okay but oily- bad for Italy. Spaghetti was also undercooked. Consistently bad- tourist prices. Slightly cheaper than in Amalfi but ridiculous for how bad the quality was When we asked the guy about the salad he said that’s the green salad. Waste of money.

07/02/2026: I'm not giving a zero only because it's not an option.
A humiliating experience: we were seated at the table, with water already served, and immediately afterward the waiter arrived and asked us to get up because "the table was reserved." An embarrassing scene, in full view of the other customers.
A total lack of organization and good manners, evidently unknown to the staff.
Forced to move, we ordered pizza at 9 PM with a promise of arrival at 10:15 PM... unacceptable times and terrible management.
First and last time.
Be the judge.

23/08/2025: A family-run guesthouse. Nothing is missing. Above all, I appreciated the courtesy and care they showed for my allergies.
20/08/2025: Palinuro is beautiful, worth a visit. Speaking of the structure, the rooms are poor, the bathrooms are not maintained, there is no mini fridge, the mattress is more comfortable than the one on the beach, for those with leg problems there is no adequate service.

10/01/2026: Terrible experience: unbelievable rudeness reigns supreme and tax irregularities: NEVER AGAIN.
I'm giving one star only because it's not possible to give zero. Food aside, what happened at the register is unacceptable, an experience bordering on the absurd. We were a group of five, and the total bill was €50. Despite asking to each pay our own (since there were substantial differences between what we'd ordered), the lady at the register verbally attacked us.
She demanded that we pay the "Roman bill" (€10 each), and when we legitimately refused and explained our reasons, she called us cheap and stingy in front of everyone, including the staff, who made no effort to stop the lady.
It's unacceptable for a business owner to judge and offend customers based on how they decide to split their bills.
In addition to the rudeness, we had to ask for a receipt several times because he wouldn't issue one, only doing so after our repeated insistence. Zero professionalism, no respect for the customer, and questionable tax management.
If you want to be insulted while paying (and struggle to get a receipt), go ahead. For us, it was the first and last time.
P.S. I also wanted to add that we were doing the calculation between ourselves and then giving the total directly to the lady.
27/08/2025: Maybe because it was a fairly busy Saturday night when we went, we had to wait a bit for the pizzas, but that's understandable. The pizzas, which are usually good for takeout, were overcooked and tough, but the ingredients used were good and fresh.
There's no table service; you have to do it yourself, both setting the table, clearing it, and bringing the pizzas and drinks to the tables.

30/09/2025: I hate to leave a negative review, but I have to. I used to frequent this bar often, but I'll avoid it. A few weeks ago, I stopped by with a friend who wasn't familiar with it, and he ended up actually liking it. At the bar, we ordered two Cokes at the counter, which my friend paid for, and then two more at the tables outside, which I ended up paying for by card and then we left. We returned a couple of weeks later and ordered more, but when it came time to pay, it told us there were two more Cokes left to pay. It seemed strange to me, so I checked the app, and it showed that I had paid for the Cokes. The girl also confirmed that she remembered me, but she didn't remember my friend. My friend tried to check the app, but unfortunately it didn't work, so to solve the problem immediately, I paid for them without waiting for verification. The next day, my friend accessed the app and verified that the payment had been made, sending me a screenshot. Since I was near the bar getting a coffee, I pointed out, without demanding anything, that perhaps they had made a mistake. The response I got was: "Who's to tell me I created that screenshot?" After a few seconds, I was asked to clear the counter and leave. I didn't bat an eyelid and left. A few hours later, my friend came by, once again not for the Cokes that had already been paid for, but to point out that perhaps they made a mistake last time and that the transaction was valid. Instead of apologizing, they arrogantly wanted to give him his money back and asked him to leave and never come back? At this point, given the incident, I will avoid going back. To err is human, but if you do, at least apologize. I paid for any oversight the day before without any verification and apologized. After verification, I didn't expect anything, but at least an apology to my friend and not for what happened. PS: All things considered, I'm not clear on the absurd situation and I'm wondering: Are you sure the reference table was ours, given that we only ordered two Cokes at that table? But then, why did the problem appear a few weeks later and not when I paid? When I came to pay, should there have been (mistakenly) 4 Cokes listed instead of 2, why wasn't it reported to me?

First of all: I didn't yell at anyone, nor did I take it personally. I simply pointed out, politely, that my friend's transaction had been processed, so I was attacked and kicked out. I politely left without batting an eyelid. Let's dot the i's.
I think you're confused: I don't live in Salerno, but in Milan, and I've only been to your bar a handful of times (three this month, and that was years ago). I always pay by card, so it's clear I've never left any open accounts. I've never been chased by anyone to pay: this makes me think you're either confused or making it all up just to avoid admitting the mistake. The problem wasn't the money, but the attitude: instead of apologizing, you reacted with arrogance and unfounded accusations. Without my friend's proof of payment, I apologized and paid without waiting for his verification. After my friend verified that the transaction had been made, I would have expected an apology from him, but that wasn't the case. They know me in Torrione and they know what kind of person I am, so I'll let the reader judge. Best regards, and congratulations to the staff!

28/09/2025: It's a real shame, a new bar treating new customers this way: I walk in and ask for two Cokes. I immediately pay €4 by card. I sit on the stools outside, everything is fine. We order two more, my friend pays €5 by card. A week later (my friend had been there before), we go back. At the final bill, they tell us that a week earlier we left without paying! We show him the two bills on the bank app, and his response? They're fake, who knows what you did. Then, rudely, he says: "Take the €4 and never come back." I've never seen such a ploy, and obviously I left the money there. Truly ridiculous. I'll gladly speak to the owner; I expect a sincere apology, not the rudeness and deceit of his employees.

11/11/2025: We reached the place recommended by a dear local friend, with all the products on display like other places.
We decided to eat there, and so far so good.
We were the only customers in the place, and a girl was having lunch.
I ordered some mozzarella, a sandwich, and a dessert for my son.
I asked her, "Do I pay later?" because I was going to buy a few kilos of mozzarella to go, and she very annoyedly replied,
"No, you pay first, it's the shop's policy."
She seemed very rude, and even made me pay for a can in advance... well, basically.
I ate the mozzarella and I have to say I've had better.
Obviously, the sales assistant's attitude put me off buying the mozzarella to go.
Maybe she was having a bad day, but a smile can only do her and the customers good, otherwise the mozzarella will go sour, dear lady!!
P.S. At Jemma's, it's better!
