30/09/2025: I hate to leave a negative review, but I have to. I used to frequent this bar often, but I'll avoid it. A few weeks ago, I stopped by with a friend who wasn't familiar with it, and he ended up actually liking it. At the bar, we ordered two Cokes at the counter, which my friend paid for, and then two more at the tables outside, which I ended up paying for by card and then we left. We returned a couple of weeks later and ordered more, but when it came time to pay, it told us there were two more Cokes left to pay. It seemed strange to me, so I checked the app, and it showed that I had paid for the Cokes. The girl also confirmed that she remembered me, but she didn't remember my friend. My friend tried to check the app, but unfortunately it didn't work, so to solve the problem immediately, I paid for them without waiting for verification. The next day, my friend accessed the app and verified that the payment had been made, sending me a screenshot. Since I was near the bar getting a coffee, I pointed out, without demanding anything, that perhaps they had made a mistake. The response I got was: "Who's to tell me I created that screenshot?" After a few seconds, I was asked to clear the counter and leave. I didn't bat an eyelid and left. A few hours later, my friend came by, once again not for the Cokes that had already been paid for, but to point out that perhaps they made a mistake last time and that the transaction was valid. Instead of apologizing, they arrogantly wanted to give him his money back and asked him to leave and never come back? At this point, given the incident, I will avoid going back. To err is human, but if you do, at least apologize. I paid for any oversight the day before without any verification and apologized. After verification, I didn't expect anything, but at least an apology to my friend and not for what happened. PS: All things considered, I'm not clear on the absurd situation and I'm wondering: Are you sure the reference table was ours, given that we only ordered two Cokes at that table? But then, why did the problem appear a few weeks later and not when I paid? When I came to pay, should there have been (mistakenly) 4 Cokes listed instead of 2, why wasn't it reported to me? Response to the owner: First of all: I didn't yell at anyone, nor did I take it personally. I simply pointed out, politely, that my friend's transaction had been processed, so I was attacked and kicked out. I politely left without batting an eyelid. Let's dot the i's. I think you're confused: I don't live in Salerno, but in Milan, and I've only been to your bar a handful of times (three this month, and that was years ago). I always pay by card, so it's clear I've never left any open accounts. I've never been chased by anyone to pay: this makes me think you're either confused or making it all up just to avoid admitting the mistake. The problem wasn't the money, but the attitude: instead of apologizing, you reacted with arrogance and unfounded accusations. Without my friend's proof of payment, I apologized and paid without waiting for his verification. After my friend verified that the transaction had been made, I would have expected an apology from him, but that wasn't the case. 28/09/2025: It's a real shame, a new bar treating new customers this way: I walk in and ask for two Cokes. I immediately pay €4 by card. I sit on the stools outside, everything is fine. We order two more, my friend pays €5 by card. A week later (my friend had been there before), we go back. At the final bill, they tell us that a week earlier we left without paying! We show him the two bills on the bank app, and his response? They're fake, who knows what you did. Then, rudely, he says: "Take the €4 and never come back." I've never seen such a ploy, and obviously I left the money there. Truly ridiculous. I'll gladly speak to the owner; I expect a sincere apology, not the rudeness and deceit of his employees.

26/11/2025: Recommended by some friends, but the prices are a bit high. The pizza is well-seasoned, but the dough could be improved. The meat is tender and well-cooked. Recommended

18/11/2025: I go out for lunch or dinner every day for work and usually don't write reviews, but for this place I really feel the need! As soon as I walked in the door, I realized I'd come to the wrong place, but I had no choice since all the other restaurants were closed! In my opinion, the place is terribly kept! I ordered a seafood appetizer and a grilled fish. The appetizer is huge! Definitely worth sharing, and I would have appreciated it if someone had told me that! The food was poor, cold, and I hope it won't hurt me! I left more than half of it! The grilled fish was worse than the appetizer! The fish, in my opinion, was frozen, not fresh as advertised! €40 and strangely, they told me the POS was having problems. I replied: "I don't have cash, if the card doesn't work, I can't pay!" Magically, it started working again! Moral of the story, I gave two stars only because the owner's dog, who spent a good part of the evening on the table, was cute!

06/06/2026: Poor old owners... I return to Rififi and discover absurd prices: a Margherita pizza costs 2 euros and a paper tray costs 20 cents. I ordered two takeaway pizzas and paid 4.20. Pure madness... In fact, the rotisserie was empty. All that remains is the memory of the old owners: two friendly old men who worked with love and dignity. Now it's just business.

26/04/2026: Rififí's historic pizza, nothing to complain about, but raising the price from €1.50 to €2.00 from one week to the next seems excessive to me. I don't understand why the tray should cost €0.20 unless requested; at this point, I prefer to "take them" without the tray. The baking trays and oven need replacing; the crusty residue is noticeable. 😉

07/09/2025: Great experience! The beach club is family-run, well-organized, and close-knit. The cuisine is traditional, using quality ingredients. I highly recommend it, especially for its value for money!

23/08/2025: Two miserable sandwiches with cooked ham and one with tomato and tuna for €12! Absurd. Without issuing a receipt... it's only made upon request. Service courtesy and kindness, zero!

25/07/2026: Terrible experience, total chaos. Given that we were at the start of service, there was only one table with us. We waited half an hour for a menu (which I had to ask for), and after another half hour waiting for someone to come and order, we gave up and left. Terrible organization and service. I can't comment on the pizza because I didn't eat it. I highly recommend it.

05/07/2026: Terrible experience. The service is lacking and the waits are long. There's far too much rudeness and disregard for customers. It's a shame, because the pizza is good, but due to the incompetence of the service, I won't be returning.

12/07/2026: The mozzarella in carrozza were terrible, ordered with different fillings and were served in bulk and when asked which flavours corresponded they couldn't answer... moreover the flavour was decidedly awful.

08/09/2025: It's 3 a.m. and I feel sick because the pizza I ate there made me sick. I wonder if you still need to learn how to make a digestible dough?? And yet you worked all summer, who knows how many people were sick. I'm not giving one star because it's not possible. As far as I'm concerned, you can just close down because I'll never set foot there again.

14/08/2026: A truly surreal experience... I called to make a reservation and was told that RESERVATIONS were not possible. Not that there was no room. Since the same thing had happened two days earlier to some friends of mine who had been there and were seated without any problems upon arrival, we (5 adults) decided to try going there too and ask directly on site. Upon our arrival, we were "mocked" by the owner who welcomed us by saying: "If you haven't booked, don't eat hehihi." That said, she didn't even give us the chance to ask for a takeaway bruschetta, turning her back on us, not looking at us or even speaking to us. In a normal world, you try to accommodate a customer or, at worst, even if you have to say you don't have a solution, you do so with courtesy, but here not only do they lack mental flexibility or problem-solving skills, but the rudeness with which they are treated borders on the absurd (we were ashamed, rather than her!!). The owner feels empowered by the fact that people continue to frequent her restaurant, but let's think about it: people choose to go there for fresh food, rather than flavor... However, we can make bruschetta at home, and fresh food can be found elsewhere, even better. In fact, after being kicked out of there, we then spent a truly magnificent evening at Prepezzano, a few steps away, and the food was a thousand times better. My advice: don't give her all that much credit anymore... The experience should be erased, the place should be closed.

11/08/2026: I WILL NEVER GO BACK We went to this place tonight with a group of friends and had booked in advance. I arrived and left my colleague's last name, thinking he'd given his when we made the reservation, but I realized that wasn't the case. A reservation had been made under the same last name for 8:00 PM, which was cancelled shortly before, while ours was for 10:00 PM. The lady in charge, already quite upset, rudely replied that we had cancelled, that she didn't have any seats, and that I could leave, saying "Goodbye, ma'am," you can go. To which I insisted, saying that we hadn't cancelled at all and that he'd probably left a different last name, but that wasn't the right attitude. She replied that she fills the tables every night and doesn't care about me. In the end, we found our reservation, but the lady at her place will never see me again. The bruschetta was good, but nothing you can't easily make on your barbecue at home.

25/06/2026: The food is excellent but the prices have risen considerably. Let's remember that we are not in the centre of Catania and it is also a very basic pizzeria and should not have the same prices as elegant pizzerias.

05/06/2026: We ate a truly scandalous pizza, which even the cashier acknowledged as such. Frozen mushrooms were thrown on the pizza straight from the refrigerator, leaking water and continuing to defrost even after they served it to us. Disgusting. P.S. Even though they admitted it, they still made us pay for that junk, which we threw in the organic waste bin on site.

11/11/2025: We reached the place recommended by a dear local friend, with all the products on display like other places. We decided to eat there, and so far so good. We were the only customers in the place, and a girl was having lunch. I ordered some mozzarella, a sandwich, and a dessert for my son. I asked her, "Do I pay later?" because I was going to buy a few kilos of mozzarella to go, and she very annoyedly replied, "No, you pay first, it's the shop's policy." She seemed very rude, and even made me pay for a can in advance... well, basically. I ate the mozzarella and I have to say I've had better. Obviously, the sales assistant's attitude put me off buying the mozzarella to go. Maybe she was having a bad day, but a smile can only do her and the customers good, otherwise the mozzarella will go sour, dear lady!! P.S. At Jemma's, it's better! Even the orders

26/12/2025: No Coca-Cola at all. Disregard for cutlery and glasses. Appetizer with stale prosciutto, flavorless salami with only garlic-flavored oil and cheese. It was probably cut with a garlic-stained knife or on a cutting board used for garlic. "Pappardelle ai funghi" was sticky and lacked salt. The meat was ordered rare... It was medium rare. Good, as were the baked potatoes (perhaps dried), but not worth the price. Limoncello was water and alcohol. No cane sugar. Poor service, with constant mistakes and a lack of products. The only thing we appreciated was the view of the pool, beautiful and useful in the summer. The price is not worth what we ate, considering it's considered agritourism.

25/12/2025: Dirty cutlery, dirty glasses, black cold cuts. Indecent pasta. Exorbitant prices. No, sorry. Absurd.
