27/08/2025: I stayed for 8 days, as I've been doing for a few years now. My experience has always been the same. The owners are very helpful with any requests. The hotel and rooms are impeccably clean. The cuisine is authentic, with ingredients from their own garden, but even when they prepare something else, it's always high-quality and well-cooked. 23/08/2025: Hotel Residence with affordable prices, excellent hygienic conditions and very open and helpful staff, breathtaking views and a very welcoming place, the bus stop arrives right outside the hotel making it easy to get around even without a scooter or car, in any case it is possible to ask the hotel to rent a car or motorbike.

08/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Lo Scoglio, near Sant'Angelo, and I can say it was a truly special experience. The sea view from the terrace is simply spectacular: a panorama that alone is worth the visit, especially on sunny days or at sunset. The atmosphere is refined, relaxing, and welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a lunch with friends. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very professional: they welcome you with a smile and make you feel immediately at ease. The seafood dishes are the real highlight: from the fresh fish pasta dishes to the carefully prepared main courses, each course is rich in flavor and quality. For seafood lovers, it's truly a paradise, but the other dishes on the menu are no exception: you can sense the attention to detail and quality in every recipe. The quality-price ratio depends on what you choose, but in a place like this, with its view, atmosphere, and high-quality cuisine, every euro spent is worth it. A place you'll definitely want to return to if you're in Sant'Angelo Lo Scoglio. It never disappoints! 💙🐟🎣🎏🍥

07/09/2025: Beyond the disappointment! Aside from the €5 per cover charge, certainly unjustified by the location, I must, alas, express a negative opinion across almost the entire menu, except for the service, which was clearly a goodwill move, despite everything else. The mixed seafood appetizer was colorless and tasteless, as well as paltry for the €25 price tag. Spaghetti with clams without a trace of clams (just empty shells) for the modest sum of €28. When we complained, the young lady who had welcomed us could only agree with us and had them taken back. Alas, little changed when new portions were served: they were too al dente, almost uneatable, but above all tasteless: they tasted like spaghetti all'olio with added (cold) clam shells and a few stray clams that had stumbled upon them almost by chance. Moral of the story: the dishes were left almost untouched. The same goes for the spaghetti with scampi and lemon: spaghetti completely disconnected from the sauce, in which, rather than freshly squeezed lemon, one could unmistakably taste one of those pre-packaged lemon extracts found in stores. At least the mussels had been anticipated to be small given the time of year. Then, it's unthinkable to hear that the fillet of the day's catch was only swordfish or sea bream, which had been available to the chef for who knows what day. Amberjack, grouper, even tuna: these illustrious unknowns. Aside from the excessive markup on a bottle of Casa D'Ambra's Biancolella d'Ischia (35 euros), we preferred to ask for the bill and pay without futile arguments, but the result was truly disappointing. Perhaps you can play on unwary tourists, but for those accustomed to eating out and not just filling their stomachs, there's little you can do! We had hoped that the same negative experience a dear friend had a few nights earlier was an isolated incident. That wasn't the case. A restaurant that wants to target a certain level of quality, in addition to reflecting this in the bill, must first and foremost make it appreciated by offering dishes that live up to the context: the location is inedible!

12/10/2025: Terrible experience. Two friends and I ordered lemon tart, served with a plastic fork. There was no trace of lemon; it tasted like butter. The owners commented with a terse "maybe it's dried out a little." A disaster!!!!!

26/09/2025: I have memories of my childhood in this bar, when it was "normal." Now, the quality of drinks has remained medium-high, while service and friendliness have deteriorated. Everything is dominated by the rude and unsympathetic owners/managers, who, from the cash register, influence the (always agitated) staff and annoy the customers. The undeniable success has gone to the heads of these people, who, in Naples, are called "pezzient sagliut."

02/08/2025: Absolutely fabulous hidden gem in the heart of Sorrento, near the Basilica. Staff lovely. Always remembered our order from previous visits! Loved this cafe/lounge bar so much that we visited every day of our 10 day stay, sometimes more than once a day. Best coffee in Sorrento!! See you next year!

01/08/2025: A beautiful spot in Sorrento with a wonderful design and feel to it. We have visited here a few times now during our stay and each time we cannot fault it. The staff are attentive and friendly and the drinks menu is fantastic. It just feels fun. If you are visiting Sorrento, I recommend a stop here for a nice cocktail or a refreshing aperitif.

19/10/2025: I didn't like it at all. I had a better memory. I had my twins' christening lunch here on the recommendation of some acquaintances, and it was very good, high quality. I've been there now, and in my opinion, it's gone downhill considerably. The service wasn't bad, but the food was mediocre, even worse. The quality/price ratio was definitely not fair. Also, one thing I hate is the peculiar smells wafting from the kitchen into the dining room. It's definitely an experience I won't repeat.

01/07/2025: Locale semplice e servizio non affettato, non sembra un ristorante stellato, nemmeno nei servizi igienici. Ma conquista con le proposte del menù degustazione e per il gusto originale e studiato. Colpiti dal pomodoro nelle diverse consistenze di cottura e dalla minestra dai 50 ingredienti! Giovane chef con stella davvero meritata !!

27/05/2025: Ieri insieme ad una coppia di amici abbiamo visitato questo ristorante che era da tempo nella lista degli stellati ai quali volevo far visita. La delusione è stata davvero tanta! Una serie di scelte sbagliate ma cercando di essere quanto piu oggettiva possibile credo che principalmente questa delusione parti dalla zuppa dei 50 ingredienti... un attentato! La cena inizia con il benvenuto dell'evoluzione del ragù, molto carina come idea seguito da un ostrica che è piaciuta molto a tutti. A seguire questo cocktail di gamberi rivisitato, con crema di zucchine e verdure che lasciavano un sapore amarostico al palato, ma che comunque abbiamo provato ad apprezzare. Ah... un mio commensale si è ritrovato un guscio, presumibilmente di pistacchio, nel cocktail e davvero stava per rompersi un dente. Fatta presente questa cosa al cameriere gli è stato risposto che avrebbe riferito ma il fatto che nessuno poi si sia avvicinato a scusarsi, nè tanto meno sia stata fatta un accortezza , in un ristorante di questa portata, ci ha lasciato davvero perplessi. Ma andiamo avanti... A seguire la zuppa!!! Io non so come possa essere concepita come antipasto! decisamente una porzione enorme di verdure, frutta e pesce che ci ha messo KO. Un mappazzone direbbe il caro Barbieri. Nonostante non rientrasse nelle mie corde l ho mangiata tutta ma dopo non sono riuscita ad apprezzare piu nulla. Sapori troppo intensi uno dietro l altro, non un sorbetto, non un qualcosa che t facesse pulire il palato prima di passare alla portata successiva. Nell insieme la cena è stata davvero sbilanciata, sentivo solo un bisogno d acqua o di qualcosa d fresco e ad ogni portata era un agonia. Una serie di piatti spinti, nulla che equilibrasse. La scelta di servire poi due primi con lo stesso formato di pasta, due spaghetti con note anche molto simili, spinti sul sapido, non l ho capita. Magari fossero stati nn so, un risotto ed uno spaghetto, invece no, tutto molto piatto. Li ho dovuti lasciare perche davvero non si riusciva. Poi la polpessa con scarole, ancora una volta un gusto forte e questa volta mi sento di dire nn spinta , ma decisamente sapida. Se l avessi finita sarei andata a vomitare. Poi sul finale il dolce, che avendo i lamponi almeno ci ha rinfrescato un pò il palato. Nn ci è stato chiesto se volessimo un caffè o un amaro, nulla, ci siamo alzati a pagare e siamo andati via. Un ristorante di questa portata non può costruire un percorso degustazione con cosi tanta approssimazione. In ogni stellato visitato sono sempre andata via con il desiderio di ritornarci, con un esperienza vissuta oltre alla semplice cena, mi dispiace dirlo ma qui nn c è stato nulla di tutto ciò. Tornati a casa siamo tutti corsi in bagno, con la pancia gonfissima di quelle verdure, davvero un tentato omicidio.

07/09/2025: The gentleman was very kind. We were the last customers. He was always helpful and kind, and he brought us everything we needed. I ate very well without spending a fortune. We went home full. I will honestly recommend this place to everyone when you go to Naples. It's delicious and well-kept, the portions are huge.
