04/05/2026: Very useful. We were here on Sunday, April 26th, and after parking, we sat in the lobby waiting for the funicular, which was about to arrive. It left on time both ways. We used the restrooms, which we found clean. The ride up or down, whether you prefer, is spectacular, with a breathtaking view of Mercogliano and Avellino. We recommend increasing the number of rides during peak times, such as after Mass, because we've heard of people being stranded and having to wait two rides (an hour) to get off, despite the funicular running every 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

24/05/2026: Good morning, an experience to forget, it seemed like a nightmare kitchen, scialatielli with mushrooms had no flavor at all, mushrooms perhaps prepared a month before, veal fillet hard as stone inedible, in my opinion they should change profession, this place is an insult to the restaurant industry.

16/02/2026: At Maeba, we spent a delightful evening trying the six-course tasting menu, which, although at the chef's discretion, took into account our preferences indicated at the time of booking. The experience was very positive, focusing on vegetables and "humble" yet surprisingly enhanced ingredients: pumpkin, fennel, carrot, artichoke, and mushrooms. All the dishes offered were original, enjoyable, and well-balanced. Special mention goes to the appetizer with fennel, almond fondue, and lemon and orange gel; to the main course, pork tenderloin with charred leek cream and fried artichoke; and, last but not least, the tartlet with Annurca apple, almond cream, and cinnamon. The setting is very characteristic, nestled in the countryside, inside a restored old olive oil mill. The service is characterized by the utmost attention to guests, who are truly pampered, given that the restaurant has only four tables. The owner/waiter immediately made us feel at ease, engaging in a pleasant conversation where we could share our opinions on each dish we tasted. Furthermore, the fact that each new dish was a surprise made the tasting experience more interesting and less predictable, especially since the surprises that followed were all original and very tasty. The price was absolutely fair considering the quality, variety, and length of the menu. Overall, a highly recommended experience that I would definitely like to repeat.

02/06/2026: I've been to this pizzeria several times and have always had a great experience. The staff is very courteous and welcoming, always helpful and kind to customers. They don't just serve pizza, but also other dishes that are truly delicious and made with quality ingredients. I enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. The prices are in line with what's offered, and the quality/price ratio is absolutely satisfactory. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for good food and a pleasant evening.

18/05/2026: Everything was delicious and welcoming. We were there last night and immediately received a warm welcome. The bearded waiter was very friendly. The pizzas and desserts were excellent. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Ample parking.

In recent years, the owner has introduced new products using top-quality ingredients; Tarts, biscuits, and high-quality leavened pastries that I hadn't had the chance to appreciate before, revealing their mastery of what they do. With every bite, I appreciate the high quality, the attention to detail, the meticulous packaging, and last but not least... a scent that takes me home.

15/05/2026: We ate an excellent Florentine steak with fried potatoes and porcini mushrooms, a focaccia and a bottle of good wine recommended for both pizza and meat. In fact, if you want to eat phenomenal meat in Avellino and the province, Baciami is the ideal place.
