18/07/2025: A mixed experience: excellent restaurant, disappointing rooms We chose this hotel for our wedding, booking several rooms for ourselves and our guests, attracted by its convenient proximity to the venue. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations, especially considering it's a 4-star property. The rooms are very dated, with issues both in cleanliness and functionality: some guests found ants in their rooms, others had difficulty opening the door, sometimes even having to ask reception for help. These issues created inconvenience on what was an important day for us, and we received numerous complaints from our guests. The restaurant, on the other hand, was a very positive note: the dishes were carefully prepared, well-presented, and tasted excellent. It truly elevated our experience. One small detail, however, left a bitter taste in our mouths: after paying in advance for 14 rooms, an aperitif, and a dinner for 30 people, at checkout we were asked to pay a supplement for a can of water to take a pill. An inelegant gesture, especially after such a significant investment. We certainly recommend the restaurant, but we hope the hotel will soon be updated to match the quality the property aspires to represent.

16/07/2025: My son's baptism ceremony and his first birthday were celebrated. With about 40 guests, everyone was delighted! Kudos to the staff for the room decor and to the kitchen for the buffet. We will gladly return.

23/04/2025: Truly a pleasant discovery. Fresh and quality food, recalls many dishes from the area but with reinterpretations of dishes from other places. Good and very sized burgers. Gintoneria corner with excellent choices of gin. Waiter capable of answering and explaining the dishes. Top bartender. I recommend it to you.

22/06/2025: Una delle peggiori esperienze mai avute in un ristorante. La cameriera sembrava completamente impreparata: non sapeva prendere l’ordine, ha fatto confusione con i piatti e — ciliegina sulla torta — ha fatto il segno della croce dopo aver scritto l’ordinazione. Un gesto davvero fuori luogo, che trasmette tutto tranne che professionalità. Aria condizionata inspiegabilmente spenta in piena estate, ambiente soffocante e scomodo. I piatti? Semplicemente scadenti: ingredienti mediocri, sapori piatti, presentazione trascurata. Servizio imbarazzante, cibo deludente, clima invivibile. Non ci tornerò mai più e sconsiglio vivamente a chiunque pensi di andarci.

27/08/2025: Intimate and sophisticated atmosphere. Discreet and friendly staff. Attentive and helpful service. We ate the house antipasto, a varied selection of hot and cold dishes. The first course, tagliolini with truffle, was truly excellent. Veal strips with parmesan and arugula were very tasty, made with local meat. We'll be back as soon as possible! Congratulations!

24/08/2025: I found it by chance while wandering around the Piana del Drago. The dishes are well-prepared, clearly expertly prepared, respecting tradition but with a touch of modernity that I appreciated, in a refined and welcoming atmosphere. Prices are absolutely in line with the local average; my only complaint is the appetizer, which is a blind order with no choice, and a minimum order for two people. In any case, I highly recommend this restaurant.

16/06/2025: Trattoria Lu Cucchiarone is a real discovery in the heart of Mirabella Eclano. A welcoming and familiar atmosphere, perfect for those looking for traditional Irpinia cuisine with that touch of authenticity that is getting lost everywhere. The dishes are well prepared, abundant and with an authentic flavor: rich appetizers, tasty first courses, and second courses that taste like home. The desserts are also excellent, simple but made with care. Friendly service and fair timing, honest prices, in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. Overall, a trattoria to recommend to those who like to eat well without too many frills. One star less only because there are still some details that can be improved, but it is still a place to return to willingly.

18/06/2025: Tutto perfetto uno comunione con i fiocchi personale gentile e disponibile lo chef Enzo co ha consigliato un menù fantastico tutti prodotti eccellenti .due piatti si sono contraddistinti il raviolo cacio e pepe ottimo e il gelato simile magnum.complimenti a tutti ....

17/08/2025: We ordered 10 pizzas: 3 arrived after an hour's wait, the other 7 after another 20 minutes. They serve the takeout pizzas first, then those waiting in the dining room. It's a shame because the pizza is good (though it's hard to find a bad one in the area...). We WON'T be back.

12/08/2025: Always a top-notch place! I've been halfway around the world and my friends call me "the old man," but aches and pains aside, if I need a great pizza, I'll go there with all my might! The same goes for meat, pasta, appetizers, desserts, and wines!!! The old man never fails! Trust me!!!

15/08/2025: Pizza & Meatballs. Recommended by a friend, three of us booked for dinner. The atmosphere was welcoming, as everyone had described, and the view from the charcuterie counter was captivating. We ordered two pizzas and meatballs in tomato sauce. The pizza was excellent, with a well-stretched cartwheel, cooked to perfection, using quality ingredients, and the master pizza chef knows his stuff: congratulations. The pizza was easy to digest, and the recommended craft beer was excellent. The meatballs: flavorful meat, just the right consistency... the sauce was a bit acidic. Otherwise, the welcome was top-notch, and the owner was kind and knew how to treat customers. We'll be back to try the restaurant's dishes. Well done.
