Fast service and excellent dishes

I stumbled upon it because all the other restaurants were closed. It was a pleasant discovery. The food is prepared with excellent local ingredients. I had the "local" appetizer with delicious cured meats and, above all, a slice of exquisite Bagnolese pecorino. The ravioli are filled with fantastic ricotta, topped with grated truffle. The waiter, Maicol, then recommended the fried potato skins. I thought it was a clever idea, a way to make money from kitchen scraps, but I was wrong because they were incredibly tasty; the potatoes they covered were obviously excellent. I asked, and they obliged, to bring me some pecorino cheese with the skins, which was included in the appetizer. The house wine is good and, last but not least—pardon the oxymoron—the real thing, Fernet Branca. The bill, considering the quality, is fair. The service is fast and attentive.

The spit is the history of Laceno, an undisputed and obligatory stop, I have been linked since I was a child to this restaurant and to the family that has run it for over 40 years from Angelo the creator to today his son Nicola who has carried on the whole business for years, always fresh and top products, typical and homely cuisine, always with an excellent quality/price ratio, always impeccable service, it is always like feeling at home with delicacies to taste, I hope it will always be there for another 50 years. The food is good. Great care is taken in sourcing the ingredients. Nothing too elaborate, and the menu is rich with what you'd expect in the mountains: mushrooms, truffles, ragù... The service is impeccable. Very popular. It's always best to book in advance. The dining room is spectacular. I recommend seats near the windows. Small tables are ideal for couples, and the view of the plain is very relaxing.

We went for lunch today. The restaurant is recommended. The food is excellent and very tasty, the prices are fair. The owner is very kind. After the bill, we had two coffees and they were kindly offered to us. Thank you!
