06/01/2026: I'd never been to this restaurant before, but I have to admit it was a truly fantastic experience: chic, fast and attentive service, and delicious dishes. I was particularly impressed by the deconstructed millefeuille, which was probably the best I've ever eaten. I personally paid my well-deserved compliments to the very kind owner/chef. What more can I say? Well done, and keep up the good work.

22/04/2026: Gerardooooo…the innkeeper with a capital O is an old-fashioned man. He complains that he's the only one left running this tavern because his children are out doing other things…but he's good and passionate. Authentic food like you rarely find: mallone, braciole and goat ragù, chicken schucchiato…a delight. Cold country wine and old-fashioned desserts.

22/01/2026: We spent an extraordinary evening with excellent company, eating linguine with stockfish and cherry tomatoes, stockfish salad. And finally, stockfish Vicenza-style, drinking high-quality red wines. A restaurant that has become part of the history of a town, its years having an impact on the gastronomy of San Giorgio. Everything was excellent; I highly recommend sampling the true culinary traditions of this restaurant!

09/01/2026: I purchased a coffee machine online. It arrived, and when I opened it, I found water and coffee everywhere, a sign that the machine was used. I called and was told that since it had to be shipped far away, they wanted to test the machine. I wondered where such a technique came from. They told me they had a video of what they did. The video is clearly not of my machine. Aside from an apology from an employee, there was no information about returns or exchanges. I asked about returns, which were accepted, but without knowing the terms. I decided to keep the machine because I don't have time to process a return. Be wary, because no one should open a product, use it, and then ship it back. A negative experience.

15/04/2026: There were three of us. The restaurant was right across from our rental.
We ordered two "primi piatti" dishes: pasta with shrimp and calamari. They were very good, with generous portions, €12 each—no complaints, a great choice!
I chose "secondi piatti" (second course): fried calamari and shrimp for €12 with a side of fries for €5. Unfortunately, I made a poor choice; they were very, very salty, both the fries and the fried food.
Drinks were very reasonably priced: €2 for a bottle of beer and €2 for a Coke.
It's worth noting that there was no service charge, which was a nice touch. In conclusion, the pasta was delicious, but the fried food—frozen potatoes—was very salty.
