15/09/2025: Cozy place. Friendly and helpful staff. First choice products and a stone's throw from the center of Pompeii. Light and very hydrated pizza, excellent cooking too. I recommend it for those who want to discover a good combination of innovation and tradition.

The food was very special and incredibly delicious. Everything is sourced locally and sustainably. Such great restaurants are rare. We would come back here anytime! 05/09/2025: Couldn't wait until the end of our meal to give this place 5 stars. A happy accident turned into the best dinner we had in Italy. You can feel the love the owner, cooks, and staff put into this place. What started with just a glass of wine while waiting for another restaurant turned into an entire night of amazing food and drink. The pasta celebrated local cuisine, the wine list was perfection and the staff were knowledgeable and passionate and so kind! Couldn't have asked for a better dinner. Lots of lines in the area waiting for other chain restaurants but you'd be missing out if you went anywhere but here!

03/09/2025: Nice place, very good pizza. The bruschetta was a bit burnt, and the beer selection isn't great. Other than that, a very pleasant experience!

31/08/2025: I went to Cotto for the first time yesterday, and the experience was negative as soon as we walked in. At the entrance, we said we'd made a reservation, and the gentleman behind the counter (perhaps the owner?) didn't even look at us, nodding while on his cell phone. He invited us to follow him, and we asked one of the waitresses if we could sit at one of the two free tables. I was immediately reprimanded again by this gentleman, completely annoyed, who said we shouldn't make these requests to the waitresses and that we should simply wait while they were preparing our table. I explained that I had only asked to sit at that specific table, and he told me it was for four (just a table for two with two extra chairs). But that wasn't the problem; I just had to respond politely; I hadn't made any absurd request. In any case, the appetizers were very good, as were the pizzas. Another downside was the wait time; almost two hours for the pizzas seemed a bit excessive. Prices were average.

14/08/2025: We had a great night, dinner and drinks! The food was amazingly tasty, the negroni was spectacular! You might see many restaurants side by side, we tried them all, but this one was BY FAR the best one.

13/08/2025: I've been to Taverna delle Follie several times and have always had a great time. The location is beautiful, especially the outdoor garden, which becomes cool and pleasant in the evenings. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, something that's not so common in Italy. And the food is truly excellent! I've tried various dishes and they've all been special. The portions are huge!!

04/09/2025: The owner is very friendly (as is his brother from the souvenir shop next door) and the friendly sales assistant, Laura. The food is delicious, with generous portions, and it's fabulous.

16/08/2025: Also ideal for an aperitif and/or after-dinner drink, we stopped with children in tow and the service was impeccable and friendly, even for a simple order!

24/08/2025: I had excellent pasta with mussels, fried anchovies, and peppered mussels. Everything was delicious. The terrace is a peaceful spot, and I particularly appreciated the warm lighting, rather than the cold, dull LEDs.

22/08/2025: Nothing bad to say, fast and good service, nice place, and above all, great pizzas. Maestro Roberto has a solid legacy, and I hope it continues. Come.

01/09/2025: Menu choice is good, service is very efficient, atmosphere is great, the food presentation was fantastic. Taste of the food was slightly disappointing.

28/08/2025: The space was spacious and airy, the atmosphere was upscale, and the pizza was delicious. However, even though I deliberately visited during an off-peak time, the staff was rather indifferent. The food prices were generally 2-10 euros higher than other restaurants. When I paid, they asked if I wanted to tip, but it wasn't worth it. I experienced the incredible magic of receiving 12 euros for a margherita, 15 euros for a tasso pizza, and 38 euros for a bottle of water. They didn't even give me a detailed bill.
