The staff is welcoming and helpful, and the cuisine is excellent, with authentic flavors. Recommended for those visiting Ischia and looking for a warm and genuine experience.

26/08/2025: I'd love to find the right words to review this place without too many frills, but I'm having a hard time. I stayed here from August 1st to 7th, and although the name suggests a place without too many pretensions (considering the reasonable prices), it's not really that way! Impeccable cleanliness; Fantastic welcome; from the first contact with the owners, we all felt at home; Modern and well-kept facilities; Delicious food; Super convenient shuttle service included. I stayed with my girlfriend and a group of friends (nine people in total), and getting everyone to agree on travel and vacations is always tricky, but I assure you that from day one, none of us had a single doubt. We don't usually write reviews (simply out of reluctance, not for any other reason), but here we had to. A special thanks to Ferdinando and Mr. Michele, who welcomed us and made us feel truly at home, right from the start. A special mention also goes to all the staff (waiters and other staff), who are incredibly polite and helpful. We'll definitely be back, maybe even at other times of the year! 21/08/2025: Unfortunately, Il Buco does not live up to its Michelin star. The food seems passionless. We opted for the “I trust you” menu because we wanted to see what creative dishes the chef would come up with. Instead, we just got random dishes from the menu. Nothing about the choices was inventive and we honestly would have saved money if we ordered those dishes directly. The initial appetizers were very bland — and so while we were initially interested in the wine pairing, we switched to just ordering a bottle since we didn’t feel like the pairing would live up to our standards. It also felt unorganized - we had about 3-4 different servers all at once. Above all, it was a fine meal. But it doesn’t deserve the amount of money we paid. I wouldn’t go back.

20/08/2025: Il Buco benefits from a nice location, and the initial impression created by the first dining room adds a distinctive and charming touch to the restaurant’s atmosphere. However, we were seated in a back room, which unfortunately lacked the same refinement and ambiance, making it feel more like an ordinary restaurant rather than a Michelin-starred establishment. Service timing was uneven. The amuse-bouche was brought out immediately as we sat down, which felt rushed, while the starters followed only after a 20-minute wait. The food itself was acceptable, but it didn’t meet the high expectations one typically has for a Michelin-starred experience—flavors and presentation were fine, but not remarkable. The staff were friendly and polite throughout the evening, which we appreciated. However, the overall service fell short of Michelin standards. Several small but important details were missing: dishes were occasionally served without explanation, no one asked about our wine preferences, and there was a lack of attentiveness in areas like cleaning the table properly between courses. Another distraction was the sound of the dishwasher during our meal, as staff began cleaning up for the evening. This detracted from the atmosphere and made the dining experience feel rushed and unfinished. In summary, while Il Buco offers a pleasant setting and friendly staff, the overall experience did not live up to Michelin-star expectations. Key elements in service, timing, and attention to detail were lacking, leaving us with a sense of disappointment.

18/08/2025: Low prices, but the issue with raw pasta for three different entrees (not al dente, but raw) was resolved immediately. The salmon was excellent.

07/09/2025: The restaurant offerings in Panza itself are quite limited, a good pizza would be a good idea! Honestly, these aren't great when you're used to eating good ones, but they help out... The staff is, however, very pleasant and the general atmosphere is warm. The prices are very reasonable!

12/04/2025: Bisogna sempre tornare nei restauranti buoni per vedere come stanno andando le cose. L'Osteria Zena in Campagna è uno dei posti assolutamente da visitare in tutta la Campania. Una cucina minimalista squisita e indimenticabile. Verdure di estrema delicatezza, melanzane provenienti da un altro pianeta. Potremmo scrivere pagine e pagine, ma è meglio se vieni a provarlo. Pasquale e famiglia si occupano del vino e del resto. Un luogo di culto per ii palati più raffinati.

02/09/2025: We're used to eating sushi, and while visiting Naples, we were intrigued by the establishment's reputation. We found the quality of the service truly superior. The waitresses took the time to explain the composition of our sushi and suggested the best order to eat them. The ingredients used are truly high-quality (the Toro tuna is sublime) and the combinations are original. If you like to go off the beaten track, the signature sushi is, in my opinion, excellent. The kitchen team is impressive, and the decor is understated, balanced, and refined. The price/quality ratio is good.

24/08/2025: My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant, choosing it without knowing it or reading the reviews. But I must say, unlike those who didn't like it, the spaghetti alla Nerano was absolutely perfect, as was everything else we tried. It was a welcoming, family-friendly setting with an atmosphere in keeping with the southern Italian region.

22/08/2025: I'm leaving a review of the dinner on Tuesday, August 19th. I have to say that the jewel in the crown of this restaurant is the young, talented receptionist and dessert server. She deserves 5-star service. We'd heard good things about this restaurant, so we went, but the truth is, we were disappointed... They recommended the Nerano pasta when we ordered, but I have to say bluntly that it's a pasta with cheese and zucchini. If you order it, you'll agree with me... They didn't bring small plates for the fried anchovies; the first course and the fried food arrived together. The restaurant wasn't even full, but still, they didn't pay much attention to customer service, and the table service was sloppy. There's no reason to go up to the first floor; the ground floor is more than fine. If you want good Nerano pasta, go near the port of San Marco. A word to the wise!
