08/10/2025: Great place! Much more local spot than on the larger historic center streets. You can watch your dinner being made, the prices are also beyond fair for the quality and quantity of food (two large beers and two pizzas only 26 euros! Great group of gentlemen running the place, very kind, don’t hesitate to stop here and eat and drink!

14/09/2025: Fantastic experience... We did a tasting and tour of the vineyards and cellars with Miriam, a wonderful person, very knowledgeable and kind. A quiet place, I highly recommend it.

14/09/2025: The place is truly beautiful: you can experience the balance between past and present, held together by good taste and an ever-appreciated, attentive touch of humanity. Villa Matilde is certainly a place not only to visit, but to return to. The food is delicious and perfectly in tune with the local area; the service is always attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. The wine is certainly high-quality and exceptional. There are many noteworthy aspects, but, above all, many that make the difference: the Chef, Alfonso; Alessia in the dining room, Miriam, with her warm attention. Special thanks to Maria Cristina and Maria Ida Avallone, who expertly maintain the legacy and perspective of a history that has undoubtedly contributed to enhancing the value and culture of Campania's winemaking. 21/08/2025: I've ordered takeout and eaten in restaurants countless times in the past, and both the pizza and the service have always been excellent. Unfortunately, things have changed: I've ordered takeout pizzas and fried foods, but the pizza chef/baker didn't coordinate with the kitchen and vice versa, and when the pizza had been in the box for over 10 minutes, the croquettes still weren't ready! 😅 The dough wasn't great, and the cooking left a lot to be desired; the real potato croquettes were good, but the breading wasn't very crispy! Very competitive prices.

18/09/2025: A restaurant with only 5 tables, an experience you'll remember for the rest of your life. Everything was impeccable. One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had, if not the best. First, I must commend the sommelier, Anna, who treated us extremely well, always with a smile on her face and a wealth of knowledge about everything that goes on in the restaurant. She selected excellent local wines to accompany our meal and recommended a local vermouth, which was the best I've ever tasted. Truly an excellent professional and a very kind person. Also in the dining room was Dodo, who was also very attentive and created fermented beverages to accompany the tasting, along with non-alcoholic options. These two nailed everything: their friendliness, the information provided, the pairing choices, and the attention they gave to the tables. Chef Domenico Marotta demonstrated complete mastery of his craft. He is a master of flavors with flawless technical execution at every stage, all the dishes so rich in flavor, textures, and presentation that it's a shame to eat them, but impossible to resist, so the plates come back clean. Local products are valued and celebrated with the techniques used. This restaurant is complete and deserves to be known by everyone. Service: 10 Food: 10 Drinks: 10 EVERYTHING: 10 (I wish Google had a 10,000-star rating because that's what this restaurant deserves.)

28/08/2025: Love of food, hospitality, and conviviality. Impeccable, interesting, flavorful dishes, perfectly aligned with the chef's vision, evident in every detail. A superb demonstration of high-quality cuisine, without the use of showy dishes, but rather achieved through study, research, and care for the local area. The good food is complemented by the pleasantness of the entire staff: Anna, Dodo, and chef Domenico are friendly and welcoming. On tiptoe and without ever being intrusive, they were present and shared the meal with us without ever feeling affected. You leave wanting to return to discover new flavors in a friendly atmosphere. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic pairings are highly recommended, as they truly complement the dishes. Since you can't try both, I recommend choosing the non-alcoholic version to truly discover fermented beverages and kombucha.

08/10/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, and we were attracted by the possibility of eating mushrooms to our heart's content. We did, in fact, find a menu dedicated to porcini mushrooms, but unfortunately.... Flavorless and fragrant.

05/10/2025: Pleasant and refined setting, with a welcoming atmosphere and always friendly and helpful staff. The mushroom dishes are excellent: fresh, fragrant, and cooked with great care. From the tagliatelle with mushrooms to the more substantial main courses, everything was tasty and beautifully presented. Prices are fair for the quality and service offered. An excellent choice for those who love authentic cuisine and the flavors of the forest.

24/06/2025: È uno dei miei punti di riferimento, ottima cucina, in genere io qui prendo il polpo alla luciana perché ancora non ne ho trovato uno migliore da qualche altra parte. Ma tutto il resto del menù è veramente gustoso. Personale gentile e professionale, locale accogliente e conto assolutamente proporzionato.

03/10/2025: My family and I “were” excited to go to this place. You see a bunch of pictures of famous celebrities, and low and behold, every picture is from 20 years ago. Atmosphere was great and the gnocchi and ravioli caprese were great. But…it’s sad to say those were the only good things. To start, the spinach was prepared the start of the day and they mention that is common practice since it’s hard to cook fresh??? Then, they charge extra when you are asked for the side that comes with the meal. Server was very defensive when we tried asking questions or mentioning food items not being to our liking. We were very nice and it stinks to say that the only nice person in that restaurant is the passionate owner. I’d recommend only ordering pasta and if you can change your reservation to another restaurant.

11/10/2025: From the service to the presentation, from the atmosphere to the delicious food, this is Capri's finest restaurant. Quiet, peaceful, and with a stunning view. Definitely worth a little walk. We went at noon, and it was very good.

04/10/2025: We were there a few days ago, and what can I say? The cuisine was incredible, meticulously prepared yet authentic. The attention to detail was incredible, yet the flavors were reminiscent of home. The mixed pasta with legumes was perhaps the best dish of my entire Capri vacation!

30/09/2025: Da Tonino is a true gem on Capri. Elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, outstanding cuisine with a creative twist on Italian tradition, and an impressive wine list. Service is warm, attentive, and highly professional. A must-visit for an unforgettable evening on the island.

30/09/2025: Great experience! The views are amazing in this tri-leveled restaurant. We waited a little when we checked in and then we were brought down to a lounge area where they took our drink orders. Then we were brought to our table downstairs. We had a nice table and the servers and staff including Nuncia and Vincenzo, the sommelier, and Antonio were all wonderful. We even got a nice anniversary treat! Food was exceptional and we would recommend this wonderful place!

25/09/2025: Extremely disappointing experience with this restaurant. Their attitude was petulant, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Despite presenting ourselves respectfully as content creators with proven engagement and international collaborations in over 20 countries, we were met with dismissive and condescending responses. A fine dining restaurant should value professionalism and respect above all, and unfortunately, Palazzo Petrucci showed the exact opposite. Definitely not a place I would recommend for those who expect proper hospitality and serious treatment.
