15/07/2025: Beautiful and everything was excellent! After the renovation, the place has a wonderful, youthful, and fresh energy. The owners pay attention to every detail, always ready to serve their guests and make sure nothing is missing from the table. Helpfulness and friendliness are the place's outstanding qualities. The fried foods are phenomenal, the frittatina in particular is exquisite, and the pizza is delicious and light, never weighing you down or causing any discomfort. 5/5 SUPER TOP!

The dough is the real protagonist: light, fragrant, well leavened and surprisingly digestible. Each bite is a perfect balance between crunchiness and softness, with impeccable cooking that enhances each ingredient to the maximum. The care in choosing the flours, the time dedicated to leavening and the mastery in rolling out the dough tell of an authentic passion for the art of pizza. The toppings are also excellent: fresh ingredients, carefully selected and dosed with taste, without ever covering the flavor of the dough, but rather enhancing it. The place is welcoming, the service is kind and the waiting times are more than reasonable. It is rare to find a pizzeria that manages to stand out so much for the quality of the dough, but here it is truly an absolute strong point. Recommended for those who are not satisfied with the usual pizza, but are looking for an experience made of balance, flavor and true passion.

07/07/2025: There is no better place to enjoy an incredible meal and the view is as good as the food. If you come to Sorrento and don't have at least one meal here, you are missing out.

20/07/2025: A great place on the edge of the old town, well worth the detour! The food is excellent, the welcome is friendly, and you feel like you're in a place where locals are regulars, far from the tourist traps. The fried pizza is definitely worth a try!

01/07/2025: Delicious food! Not a pizza and pasta restaurant but lighter meals with lots of creativity and taste. Pleasant service, in a nice quiet street. Meat, fish, vegan and vegan options. Delicious white wine from Ischia. We have not eaten as well anywhere in Naples as here. Restaurant is recommended!

Service was basic, not the charming conversational service we’ve had everywhere else. What would you like, here it is, here’s the bill. Bye. A smile makes a big difference.

06/07/2025: When you first enter, the server will look you up and down. They say that all the places with good views are reserved, so they give you the corner seat. The trap is that more than half of the places with good views are empty.

With his savoir-faire he was also able to welcome me, a food and wine critic, with that touch of style and attention that makes the difference. The selection of wines is excellent, curated with great sensitivity and attention to the territory, as is the selection of cured meats and cheeses, which celebrate the local identity and captivate with authenticity and flavour. The meat, obviously the undisputed protagonist, is chosen with skill, treated with respect and served with passion: a complete gastronomic proposal, capable of enhancing the palate and conveying a true cooking philosophy. A special note goes to the waiter, Massimo, whose kind, sweet and respectful way of serving the tables made the experience even more pleasant. His presence is an example of how even simplicity, when authentic, can become elegance. 14/04/2025: Il ristorante gourmet del Grand Hotel Angiolieri si dimostra, come sempre, yno degli indirizzi Michelin più interessanti della costiera sorrentina. tre i menù: botanica (che è per vegetariani), anima (carne e pesce), signature (i piatti migliori del nuovo corso).

12/07/2025: The best pizza we've ever eaten (especially the Bufalina)!!!! This pizzeria looks rather unassuming from the outside, but the pizzas are fantastic! And the price is unbeatable, too! We spent four nights in San Lazzaro and went there all four evenings because we were immediately impressed on the first evening. It's a family business, and everyone is super friendly. During the week, we waited less than 15 minutes for our food, and even on Saturday, when it was really busy, the wait was absolutely fine. All in all, a feel-good atmosphere, and if I could, I would continue eating pizza there every day!
