04/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. I'm a regular and always enjoy the food. The first courses vary throughout the year, and the meat selection is excellent, but I recommend the individual menu to savor all the delicacies the house has to offer. Highly recommended.

22/02/2026: I don't know why Google removed my previous review: perhaps it was so positive it seemed suspicious, but the truth is, it wasn't bought at all. It was sincere. We live in an age where everyone improvises "luxury," imitates it, flaunts it. But true luxury doesn't shout; it's recognizable. And at Vesuvio, I found it again. Even though I've never slept there, I've used their services, the bar, and especially the restaurant, several times over the years. Each time, I've found the same thing: a quality that can't be improvised. Here, luxury is made of genuine politeness, of kindness that's never contrived, of a service born from a long history, from a true tradition, one that almost no one possesses anymore. The location is excellent, but what really makes the difference are the people, and the impeccable way they welcome you. A place for good people, where you truly feel good. And this, for me, is the greatest luxury.

It felt like dining in the house of a beloved Italian cousin who happens to be an exceptional cook. 01/03/2026: Great food and lovely service. Heard the seafood dishes were great and were not disappointed. The calamari, fried anchovies, and seafood linguini were stellar. We went for an early lunch and were the only people there. Would definitely return.

10/01/2026: We traveled through southern, central, and northern Italy. From Bari, Matera, Sorrento, Rome, Florence, and Turin, it was here that I ate the best food. A simple place, but with the most authentic cuisine a foreigner could find, exceptional service from the owner, and prices unlike anything you'd find in any restaurant in Rome. If I ever return to Salerno, it will be to eat here again.

But don’t let me start about the food, everything was delicious, but I mean like heavenly delicious…we had octopus, bruschettas and some pasta and we loved every bite of it❤️❤️❤️ if you are in Positano, do the trip and have a lunch here, you will not regret it…you will love it 😍

21/01/2026: A refined and quiet atmosphere, attentive and friendly service. The quality of the fish is incredible; the lobster paccheri deserve a special mention because they were incredible. The price is more than fair considering the high quality of the dishes. Highly recommended!

09/02/2026: We went for lunch yesterday. The place is rustic and welcoming. Very clean and tidy. The beautiful thing is that they keep the kitchen open behind the glass wall—meaning they have nothing to hide—very organized and efficient. The dishes arrive on time and in the right way. And in terms of quality of execution, flavor, and freshness of the ingredients, they can easily compete with sophisticated restaurants. The staff is very friendly, as is the owner, who welcomes all guests personally and strives to make you feel at ease. He showed us his organic vegetable garden, which you can buy directly from the garden. Highly recommended for a lunch with family or friends. Exceptional value!

A little corner of paradise that feels like home and kindness. The food is authentic and rooted in the local area: genuine products, carefully prepared dishes, and quality local ingredients. 08/01/2026: We celebrated our event at Villa Hirta, and the experience was truly special, much more than we expected. The first thing that strikes you is the setting: being welcomed into the village of Casertavecchia, with its narrow streets, soft lighting, and gradually opening spaces, immediately creates a warm and authentic atmosphere, unlike the usual reception halls. The food was one of the highlights: plentiful, carefully crafted, and above all, deeply rooted in the local area. From the appetizers wandering around the village to the dishes served at the table, you could sense the quality of the ingredients and the desire to serve well, without rushing. The final buffet was a true celebration within a celebration. The staff was always present but never intrusive, which is not to be taken for granted. You felt looked after, but in a natural way. Throughout the evening, too, great attention was paid to timing and to the guests, both young and old. A word of advice to those who choose Villa Hirta: trust the experience of those who manage it, especially when organizing the itinerary and the moments of the day, because that's where the location really shines. In conclusion, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine, convivial, and elegant experience, not the classic "everything the same" event. We will definitely return, even just to relive the atmosphere.

22/10/2025: Truly a great place! I have to be honest... before coming here, I thought I'd eat the usual pizza from the Avellino area, but instead... It was truly one of the best I've ever eaten in my life! Good service with friendly and helpful staff, and very quick delivery. A small place, but truly meticulously maintained, down to the smallest details, like cleanliness and decor. And as my grandfather used to say: Good things come in small packages! I'll definitely be back ♥️😁

01/08/2025: Excellent, locally sourced products and a superb knowledge of the sacred art of pizza. The prices are absolutely competitive and reasonable. From classic to modern pizzas, you can indulge in any gastronomic direction. Not to mention the vast selection of fried foods: lightness and crispiness brought to such a level that it almost comes naturally to say "yeah....make me a big tray!!!" The friendliness and kindness of the staff make you feel like part of the family. Oh well.... I'm marking a 😀 in my weekly diary 😀😀

01/02/2026: Today, to celebrate my birthday, we had lunch at Naturale. There were six of us and we had two house appetizers: two frittatas and two croquettes (magnum), delicious, crispy and golden breaded. For starters, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, truffles, and chestnuts; ravioli (or rather, ravioloni) with cod and potatoes; and Genoese-style candles. For main courses, lamb, cod, entrecote, artichokes, and potatoes. The house desserts and zeppole were exceptional. The staff was courteous and professional. A must try.
