27/05/2025: La Tartaruga is a small establishment on the Pozzillo beach in San Marco di Castellabate, which rents deck chairs and umbrellas. The terrace (if we can call it a terrace) is a wooden plank that houses about 7-8 tables. There is no real covered space, and the preparation/kitchen space is a small wooden cabin on the plank on the sand, with the obvious hygienic/sanitary and practical implications. There is no building adjacent to the beach or anything else. The welcome in our case was not at all friendly.

23/06/2025: A wonderful seafood experience in Marina di Casal Velino We went to this restaurant on Sunday evening and were really impressed. The place is elegant, with attention to detail, and a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen is entrusted to a chef who demonstrates technique and creativity: each dish is well-finished, balanced and full of personality. I started with a tuna tartare accompanied by avocado in double consistency, mango compote, kataifi brittle, almonds and contrasts. Next, tortelloni filled with buffalo mozzarella stracciata with yellow datterino tomatoes, capers, red prawn in double consistency and friggitelli brittle: a surprising dish, with a strong but perfectly balanced flavour. The second course, a baked aubergine boat stuffed with prawns, bread, capers and basil, completed with parmesan fondue and basil emulsion, was a very successful meeting of land and sea. My girlfriend started with a delicate steamed octopus on a flatbread of new potatoes and olives, and then continued with excellent linguine with sea urchin and lemon zest. The second course, roasted octopus tentacles with a minestrina of fiorilli and vegetables, was original and well executed. The service was courteous and discreet. In short, a beautiful gastronomic experience, where the quality of the sea meets creativity and respect for tradition. We will definitely be back.

21/06/2025: Street Stritt is a real revelation! A place that manages to combine the soul of street food with the excellence of gourmet restaurant cuisine. The two red prawns are absolutely deserved: very high quality, research into the ingredients and obsessive care in the dishes. It was a surprising journey of flavours: perfect balance, very fresh fish, and a careful but no-frills presentation. You can feel the passion in every bite. The staff is kind, fast and prepared, and the modern and welcoming environment makes the experience even more pleasant. Ideal for those looking for something special, but without sacrificing simplicity. Highly RECOMMENDED!!!

05/05/2025: Excellent pizza, typical of the area. It is not the classic contemporary Neapolitan but the traditional Salerno one. Excellent, quality ingredients. Speed ​​of service and above all very friendly staff and owner. They also do takeaway. Ample parking next to the venue.

16/03/2025: Appena posso ci ritorno volentieri in questa pizzeria, ci mancavo da tanto sinceramente ma le mie aspettative non sono state tradite. Locale molto pulito, con ampia sala, facile da raggiungere e ha un bel parcheggio dinanzi dove poter sostare. La pizza è sempre buonissima e ricca di prodotti di qualità, personale gentile e disponibile. Una gran scelta di pizze dalle classiche a qualche pizza un po più particolare. Il conto nella norma, 4 pizze tutte diverse (di cui una portata via), una lattina di coca cola e due bottiglie d'acqua ho pagato 40 euro. Vi consiglio di andare in questo locale.

The sandwiches are good and are served with a side of chips. Decent selection of beers. The pulled pork meatballs should be reviewed as the meat was entirely minced, losing the particularity of the pulled meat. The vegetarian sandwich was also good, made with an aubergine base. The director Giuseppe is an exquisite person, very kind and passionate, you can see that he cares a lot about his work and the well-being of his customers. Also noteworthy is the digestibility of the dough: I, who have intestinal problems, found it very light. Highly recommended!

15/06/2025: High quality products, superb fish, very slow service but maybe it was a day with some birthdays that kept the staff busy, outside the table football near the tables is maybe not the best position for people who want to eat and talk, in fact we had difficulty hearing each other but it is certainly not the restaurant's fault if people shout while playing, maybe by moving it, all the diners will appreciate the choice. Incredibly low price for the quality of the food served.

07/06/2025: I had a very tasty and satisfying dinner. Everything was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, in an informal and cheerful atmosphere. I cannot comment on the bill as I was invited. I would gladly return if I lived closer.

03/06/2025: We had dinner at the grill, everything was excellent and the staff was very kind. I can't give the maximum because the wine is not stored in a suitable environment and is served "hot". I tried to explain that red wine should be served between 14 and 16 degrees but they don't even listen to the advice of a sommelier, only for this reason it can't have the maximum rating.

02/05/2025: First day in Ischia as soon as we arrived despite almost half an hour before closing they welcomed us with kindness and friendliness... attentive and punctual service excellent food... organized for gluten free... home made appetizer with a lot of choice and variety of vegetables for the gluten free option... excellent ravioli stuffed with black pig under a "sheet" of colonnade lard... tender and very tasty kebabs accompanied by potatoes, price in line with the quality of the products…highly recommended

09/06/2025: This cooking class hosted by two brothers ended up being one of our best experiences on vacation. We got extremely lucky and messaged them on Instagram after seeing stories from previous classes. They were fast to respond and created a private cooking class just for us and one other family. This is not your typical commercial kitchen that runs 2 to 3 classes per day. This is the authentic experience you’re looking for. We learned how to cook their Nonna‘s dishes exactly how she taught them. Their restaurant is stunning and a very intimate setting. We felt right at home and found out it used to be their grandfather‘s home and produce store that they transformed into a restaurant. You can even see their personal garden from the space! We learned how to make potato gnocchi, beef meatballs and tiramisu and we are now trying to recreate the dishes at home because we loved them so much. This was the hands on learning experience you hope to get out of your trip to Italy!

26/06/2025: The pizza was super fresh and full of flavor, great desserts too. The staff was so sweet and welcoming, and they went out of their way to accommodate us, even storing our luggage while we dined. The downstairs area has a great vibe, much quieter and spacious than upstairs. Only downside was the bathroom, which could use a little attention, but overall it was a good experience.
