12/01/2026: I've been coming before the COVID lockdown and since than I lost my heart to this restaurant and to Sorrento. Good and friendly staff. They make me feel home. Always going for the Pasta Carbonara, fried zucchini & gamberi & risotto al Frutti di Mare.

05/11/2025: Dinner for two, November, weekday. As you can see in the photos, it wasn't very busy. We ordered octopus salad with potatoes and a fried platter of calamari and shrimp. The octopus salad was okay. The fried platter, cooked in old oil, only had passable calamari. The potatoes were very heavy, and the shrimp were whole, so when you removed the tails, heads, and legs, they lost their crispy texture. The atmosphere was nothing special, just average. The service was fine. I wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend it.

We begin with the house appetizer, "Voglia di Carne," a triumph of uniquely flavorful cured meats paired with high-quality and niche cheeses. Each combination is enriched with a different jam, chosen to enhance the flavor of the cheeses, a true pleasure for the most discerning palates. Delicious Taggiasca olives and sun-dried tomatoes are also available, accompanied by fresh vegetables and side dishes that vary based on the finest ingredients available each day. Moving on to the first courses, the selection ranges from traditional dishes like the Genovese to more sophisticated options like the tubettino with local hazelnuts. Each dish is an invitation to discover authentic flavors and the highest-quality ingredients. But the real star of the menu is, without a doubt, the meat, presented in all its varieties and accompanied by mouth-watering sides: excellent cacio e pepe chips and other delicacies that must be tasted to be believed. The grill restaurant also offers a selection of award-winning wines, including the "18 gradi e mezzo," which we found exceptional. 05/11/2025: The pasta al forno was one of the best things I have ever eaten. I don’t have many memories of my nonna left but this meal brought her back to visit me. I very nearly cried at the table, it was so delicious. The lemon torta was wonderful as well. Thank you 💛 Lots of love

05/11/2025: One of the best meals I've had because the food and hospitality transported me back to my Nonna's kitchen. Warm, comforting, delicious -- what more could you ask for? We had the Neapolitan baked pasta (pasta al forno), gnocchi with pumpkin and sausage, bean soup, and the torta al limone for dessert. Everything was fantastic. The pasta al forno in particular was so standout to me because it tasted the way my Nonna used to make it when I was a little girl. There's not a high enough star rating I could give on Google that would capture the joy tasting that dish brought to me. Also, the man who served us was very sweet! I hope to visit again before leaving Napoli.

28/02/2026: We went to Le Gourmet in Sperone and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and immediately made us feel at ease. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, one of those places where you instantly feel at home. We chose a rich and varied appetizer: fried cod and broccoli rabe (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside), sea bream with escarole and Acerra "dente morto" cannellini beans (delicate and well-balanced), leek and potato flan with Castelmagno and mace (creamy and fragrant), and a mini sandwich with pulled beef, caciocavallo cheese, and crispy onion, delicious and full of character. For our first course, we had the risotto with walnuts, anchovies, black garlic, and Fiano sauce: creamy, enveloping, with fantastic textures. For our second course, the cod alla pertecaregna 2.0, a truly successful reinterpretation of tradition. We finished with the mandarin dessert, truly amazing. Excellent ingredients, great attention to quality and local produce. It's a place that has won our hearts.

09/10/2025: One of the best restaurants in Ischia is recommended, especially for its specialty, Ischitan-style rabbit, which requires advance reservation. But beyond the specialty, everything was delicious, from the house appetizer to the excellent first courses. Not to mention that, if you arrive at sunset, you'll witness a truly incredible display of colors.

03/10/2025: Absolutely great restaurant! Was recommended by a local as one of the last family owned restaurants to use locally caught rabbits for their Ischia Rabbit dish. Everything was hearty and delicious and all the staff was extremely friendly and upbeat. If you want classic Italian warmth with delicious food go here!!

08/02/2026: Highly recommended, the staff is very friendly, the food is very good, the menu is varied and completely reflects the photos published, even the price is really fair!!! The place is a bit small but if you don't like crowded places it's TOP! The only downside is the parking because it's on the street, and that perhaps if there are a lot of people the times of the dishes are a bit longer!!! I repeat, highly recommended.

26/10/2025: Such a great spot! We had the Amatriciana, the gnocchi and the FrittaCrock – cheese, pepper & lime – and both were absolutely amazing. The pasta was perfectly al dente and full of flavor, and those little fritta bites were just incredible. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and the staff was super friendly. Cozy, modern place – would totally come back! 🍝🍋🇮🇹
