27/01/2026: Les Moines isn't your typical pub, it's not a steakhouse, nor is it just a one-off restaurant. Strangely, it manages to do everything well, as if it were a continuous, expertly executed experiment. The kitchen offers delicious, well-executed traditional dishes. Unfortunately, the service doesn't live up to the food, or at least doesn't meet the expectations of those who designed the format. For example? Table space is limited when one or more people order meat, while for a sandwich with friends, it's more than adequate. The wine list is extremely lacking and of questionable quality. The bill is for all budgets.

10/12/2025: I went there thanks to some colleagues who live in the area. A lovely discovery. A butcher shop converted into a restaurant with a well-appointed atmosphere. The entrance is beautiful, with a counter full of meats, cured meats, cheeses, and more. A vast selection. We tried many specialties, all very good, especially the meatballs and goat chop. The cured meats were also truly tasty. The T-bone was excellent. The rib-eye steak wasn't exceptional. Very friendly staff. Prices are high, but commensurate with the quality of the food.

28/12/2025: Amazing pizza! Light, fluffy and delicious!!! Also the first time I ate macaroni and potatoes and it was delicious! Polite staff, fast service!

28/12/2025: It was truly a great pleasure and an honor to not only have met the Staiano brothers, but also to have been able to eat the pizza par excellence on Christmas Day, the true Neapolitan pizza. We went for sure because, while others preferred to stay closed, tradition and culture instead gave our palates the opportunity to experience great flavor. They all call themselves pizza makers and boast on social media about being the best in the business, but then you check it out and realize it was just smoke and mirrors. My son and I, however, despite being two complete strangers, were welcomed as friends and shared moments with them, connected to the culture, passion, sacrifice, professionalism, and tradition of true Neapolitan pizza. This was confirmed when they brought us an excellent cacio e pepe frittatina and an amazing arancini, which literally captivated us with their taste and quality. Then we moved on to the pizzas, two exceptional bufalina, with fresh and flavorful mozzarella, a dough and absolutely perfect cooking. The crust was so crispy that I absolutely couldn't leave it on my plate, as so many dare to do, unaware of its importance. In fact, when the owner asked, "Well, how was the pizza?", I couldn't even pretend... he'd noticed my enjoyment of it, which confirmed to the pizza chef that he'd served a perfect pizza! So, go visit them in droves; they deserve the presence of those in Naples who truly desire to taste authentic Neapolitan pizza. I'll be back soon, because after seeing Naples, before you die, as the saying goes, you must eat at Staiano! Congratulations and thank you for everything.

18/03/2026: We had an early (for Italy) dinner in the restaurant part, & had the meat & fish tasting menu. The building is amazing, a very old ex palazio, very stylishly decorated & comfortable. While the food was fantastic, the service was the standout, especially from our wait staff, Luigi and Pascuale who really made our meal special. Was on the more expensive side for Pompeii (cheaper than south of England), but definitely worth it.

05/02/2026: Excellent steamed and fried dumplings and the dumpling soup was good for the soul. The rice platter was a bit plain. Definitely should be the designated dumpling spot in Norfolk.

15/02/2026: Absolutely excellent pizza, and the appetizers are also good. The wait staff is courteous and helpful, and the service is efficient. The restaurant has ten tables. There's often a wait: you come in, leave your name, and they call you back while you wait outside. Highly recommended.

15/11/2025: If you’re in Sorrento please do yourself a favor and stop here for the lemon pasta. It was unreal, nothing I’ve ever tasted before and the staff is so friendly. The whole experience was honestly amazing and sitting outside on a lively street just made it even better. Enjoyed every bit of it!

12/03/2026: We loved this authentic restaurant and came back often. The outdoor seating is lovely, under a string of lights in a nice, quiet alleyway where cars and mopeds can't go. The food is really delicious—appetizers, pizza, dessert. We ate there several times and were always satisfied. The service was good, with friendly staff who had no problem trying to communicate in English and were happy to recommend dishes if you asked.
