29/11/2025: Qafiz has been a dream for a long time. Chef Nino Rossi's idea to open a Michelin-starred restaurant in the heart of Aspromonte, complete with an adjoining bar, lived up to expectations and left a lasting impression on our holiday in Calabria.

25/11/2025: Excellent experience, I had the pleasure of tasting Quafiz's menu and it was a memorable one. A perfect blend of local terroir and international influences. A very well-curated wine list for all tastes. The restaurant is in a renovated old farmhouse surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and lush prickly pear plants that frame a terrace with a manicured lawn and a beautiful pool. The Asprococktail was very nice, where I tasted a Calabrian juniper cocktail that I still remember fondly🍸. Highly recommended restaurant.

11/11/2025: Best takeout sushi in Reggio Everything was good, fair prices, and generous portions, unlike all-you-can-eat restaurants. A special mention for the sashimi, which I really enjoyed. For me, it was better than De Nava's. The only thing I'd say is that the guy taking orders needs to fraternize more with the Italians, but it wasn't a problem.

15/09/2025: We were on vacation in Calabria, and the whole family enjoyed stopping by for fresh chicken and potatoes. I highly recommend the roasted peppers and onions. You can order and pick up your order in the evening; we picked it up at 7 p.m. Super friendly service. Everything was fresh and hot, and the price was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

09/04/2026: Today, April 9th, my husband and I were guests for lunch; both he, a carnivore, and I, a vegetarian, had a wonderful time. The Riggio brothers welcomed us warmly and attentively; they served us excellent food, all sourced from their farm (zucchini flower fritters, broccoli fritters, bread dough fritters, bruschetta, homemade pasta with ragù and eggplant sauce, grilled meats, and more). Their passion shines through in their willingness to share a wealth of stories about the farm's history. In short, highly recommended!

I went with very high expectations, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to them: the pasta was loose and a bit bland, the lamb was a bit tough, and the tart was of questionable quality. The staff was friendly.

Next, came the amberjack with zucchini and the scent of orange; the freshest fish, perfectly cooked, and a combination of flavors that lingers in your memory. A special thanks also to Angela, kind and attentive, who made the evening even more enjoyable. A place where you feel welcomed right at home, with excellent cuisine and a warm, family atmosphere. La Signora del Vento is an unmissable stop for those who want to experience the sea even at the table, enjoying the splendid panorama of the Strait of Messina.

22/05/2026: I had the pleasure of trying the Sesto Senso pizzeria and restaurant, and I can say it's excellent in every way. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very attentive to cleanliness. The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste it in every dish. The highlight, from what I've tasted, is definitely the pizza: light, flavorful, and perfectly topped, a true delight. I've also purchased takeout pizzas and mini rotisserie items, and everything was truly excellent. My guests also loved it. I highly recommend this place!

18/05/2026: This was my first time trying their pizza, recommended by a colleague. I have to say, with great surprise, it was a truly good pizza...not too thin, crispy, with a good selection of ingredients; in short, I found it truly delicious. The quality/price ratio is also superb. Highly recommended...I'll definitely recommend it again.

A truly authentic and traditional Italian restaurant, it combines excellent Italian cuisine with a genuine Italian atmosphere. The ambiance is pure Italy. Friendly and welcoming staff are as much a part of the experience as the delicious food. We were a large group, and everyone was thrilled with the food and the restaurant itself. A 10 out of 10! 🫶
