11/11/2025: Best takeout sushi in Reggio Everything was good, fair prices, and generous portions, unlike all-you-can-eat restaurants. A special mention for the sashimi, which I really enjoyed. For me, it was better than De Nava's. The only thing I'd say is that the guy taking orders needs to fraternize more with the Italians, but it wasn't a problem.

15/09/2025: We were on vacation in Calabria, and the whole family enjoyed stopping by for fresh chicken and potatoes. I highly recommend the roasted peppers and onions. You can order and pick up your order in the evening; we picked it up at 7 p.m. Super friendly service. Everything was fresh and hot, and the price was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

11/09/2025: It is a traditional gelateria like many in Italy with some seating but if you want to stretch your legs there is a park nearby with a beautiful view

31/12/2025: Very nice fish oriented restaurant. The food was good, the portions were ok in size. Their "paccheri al bergamotto con pesto de pistachio" were the real highlight which deserves the additional praise. Service was friendly and warm. We liked a lot the decoration of the place. We recommend the reservation as the place looked like very popular among the locals.

31/12/2025: A wonderful experience, one you'll fondly remember. The staff is truly kind and welcoming, making you feel immediately at ease. I chose the mixed seafood appetizer (salmon, tuna, shrimp, scampi, oysters, and sea urchin): top-quality ingredients, with the shrimp simply sumptuous. It's a shame about the sea urchin, however; it was a bit too salty and therefore less enjoyable than the rest. The paccheri with bergamot really deserve a special mention, a refined and well-executed dish. The only real disappointment is the portions, which are unfortunately rather small and leave a slight disappointment. The food prices are overall fair and offer a good quality/price ratio; the only disappointment is the €5 limoncello, which is decidedly excessive for what's on offer. Overall, a high-quality restaurant, with a few small flaws that, if addressed, would make it truly impeccable.

05/02/2026: Extraordinary dishes, textbook pizza, and illegal desserts!!! Enzo, who served us, is passionate and attentive to his work. We'll be back in the area for work, and it will remain our go-to place in the future.

25/02/2026: If you want to eat well but don't have much time, you've found the right place. High-quality rotisserie and traditional cuisine. Need some advice? Try the Sicilian Pidoni, the arancini, and, during this time of year, the rice salad. Then there's the lasagna, which is fabulous. Also try the stew.

06/02/2026: A simple, clean, and unpretentious place on a side street between Via Garibaldi and the Lungomare promenade. We stopped for lunch and loved it so much we came back the next evening! The pitoni and eggplant meatballs were spectacular, all washed down with a good Messina beer. The staff is incredibly friendly and approachable, making you feel right at home. The prices are very fair. If you're looking for a true, old-fashioned rotisserie, this is the place to go.

We sampled the maltagliati with shrimp, clams, and zucchini: a fragrant, balanced dish rich in seafood. Next, came the amberjack with zucchini and the scent of orange; the freshest fish, perfectly cooked, and a combination of flavors that lingers in your memory. A special thanks also to Angela, kind and attentive, who made the evening even more enjoyable. A place where you feel welcomed right at home, with excellent cuisine and a warm, family atmosphere. La Signora del Vento is an unmissable stop for those who want to experience the sea even at the table, enjoying the splendid panorama of the Strait of Messina.

16/03/2026: An authentic place that delights with flavor and quality. The menu is short, and that's a good thing, because there's nothing to overthink. We had the frittura di pesce, grilled swordfish, and spaghetti with pistachio pesto and shrimp—all delicious! I'm delighted, because among the multitude of touristy restaurants, this one shines with authenticity. Complimenti ragazzi!
