26/05/2025: Exceptional cuisine and pizzas...and a Calabrian mixed salad. Attentive and helpful staff...nice and cool outdoor setting, a wine list for all tastes and price points...I was there for dinner...with a very good bottle of Chardonnay (I was able to take home the rest of the unfinished bottle). A quiet and relaxing evening in May, outside of the summer crowds...reservations are highly recommended in summer.

27/04/2025: Excellent cuisine and service! Tasty dishes, homemade and with quality raw materials! Spaghetti with exceptional clams The waiter Michael and the chef Nicola made us feel at home....and we are now regular customers. Furthermore, my husband is vegetarian and there are always proposals for him and I thank you! We eat with a sea view....large and bright room with sea view. In front of the beach. excellent service. Excellent value for money. Parking in the area and in front. Highly recommended!

03/04/2025: Excellent in all aspects, and then there is Michael (I think it is written like this), with his courtesy he makes you feel at home. Acceptable prices, even if we took the pizza, but we will return for the first courses and the fried food.

25/05/2025: Very kind owner and staff, I recommend the pulled pork meatballs, they are excellent and the sandwiches are delicious and the meat is excellent, both the pulled pork and the hamburgers, we will return as soon as possible ☺️

19/05/2025: There's no menu at this delightful restaurant. Instead, a wide variety of Calabrian specialities are brought to you. A fine and delicious introduction to some of the lesser known dishes of the region!

18/05/2025: The restaurant has the feel of an authentic home-style trattoria with abundant and tasty traditional Calabrian dishes, and the staff is kind and attentive but not pushy. Fair prices for the quality and quantity of food, we will definitely be back!

31/05/2025: Locale consigliato da un mio amico che ci è stato,molto bello e ben curato,antipasti abbondati e pizze da far venire l’acquolina in bocca e soprattutto birre artigianali consigliatissime e ben descritte dal personale.Non mancherò a ritornare la prossima volta!!!

30/12/2024: Delicious nougats but also excellent zest and all the pastries. Even though there were a lot of people, each of us was treated by the staff as if we were the only customer on earth, that is, very well and with dedication.

07/05/2025: Primo maggio a zonzo sulla costa ionica e alla disperata ricerca di un locale dove pranzare . Tutto chiuso o al limite pieno . Passiamo davanti a questa trattoria aperta e proviamo . Fanno un menù completo per la festa a 30 euro ma noi abbiamo fretta e ci accontenteremmo di un primo veloce . Sono gentili e ci preparano un tavolino che si è appena liberato . Prendiamo il doppio assaggio dei primi previsti dal menu odierno , maccheroni con salsiccia di maiale e strozzapreti con zucchine e pancetta ( credo ) , con una bella bottigliona di acqua fresca . Sono persino rapidi nel servizio , nonostante il locale sia pieno . Buoni anche i cibi . La sorpresa al momento del conto quando ci fanno pagare in tutto 17 euro ! . Che dire ? Grazie ancora .

07/05/2025: First of May wandering around the Ionian coast and desperately looking for a place to have lunch. Everything closed or almost full. We pass by this open restaurant and give it a try. They have a complete menu for the party for 30 euros but we are in a hurry and would be happy with a quick first course. They are kind and prepare a table for us that has just become available. We take a double taste of the first courses on today's menu, macaroni with pork sausage and strozzapreti with courgettes and bacon (I think), with a nice big bottle of fresh water. They are even quick with their service, even though the place is full. The food is also good. The surprise when we got the bill when they charged us a total of 17 euros! . What can I say? Thanks again.

24/05/2025: The pizza is really great, very tasty! The service is also very good. The only slightly negative note that I noticed, in winter, is the air conditioning of the place (not heated). However, it is worth going there just for the super pizza.

16/05/2025: Excellent pizza, excellent platter with fried gnocco and fresh cured meats. Friendly staff ready to recommend the pairing of dishes and excellent choice of bitters. Highly recommended.

20/04/2025: Palazzo, very well located, enchanting setting, small downside, a great lunch was announced, it was a coffee croissant in the village bar.... the only accommodation on our trip where the nescafé replaced the capsule coffee machine and the small bottles of water had to be paid for... too bad.

18/12/2024: I had the pleasure of visiting this location on the occasion of an event dedicated to my work. Historic building in the historic center of Gerace, you arrive via the internal streets but I believe it can also be accessed by car, we had the pleasure of walking on foot and breathing in that enchanted air that accompanies you through the history of the city of 100 churches, Gerace. Palazzo Candida is the flower of Gerace, welcoming and hospitable owners, a special place where you can spend a pleasant stay in this enchanted city.

02/03/2025: Special place. We had a wonderful evening, the food and wine were squisiti! Best fish I've eaten in Calabria so far. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and ready for a joke. The children were welcome, approached in a friendly manner and enjoyed their calamari. We can't wait to come back! Price-quality ratio was excellent.
