03/12/2024: Place with sea view, Scilla seafront, Sicily view ♥️ Very kind owner and qualified staff. The food was exquisite and special. I recommend the DE Angelis cooked and raw appetizer for those who love it and the shrimp and pistachio risotto.

22/09/2024: Guest house review: Rustic environment, quiet despite the adjacent highway, SUPER clean room with a plentiful and good breakfast, the only flaw is the slightly inconvenient road to reach it but it's absolutely worth it. Free and large parking. I would also recommend it to friends!

08/08/2024: Spectacular place, among the rocks, mainly grassy outdoor paving, stone buildings with wooden beam ceilings, beautiful large fireplace. Perhaps the only flaw is having only one bathroom for guests

29/07/2024: Un sogno.Tutto perfetto.Sapevo di aver scelto il meglio.I miei invitati sono rimasti estasiati dalla location,e la splendida serata di fine estate con la luna piena sul promontorio che da sullo splendido mare di Roccella jonica, ha fatto il resto.Servizio preciso e cordiale del personale a me destinato.Ottimo il mio menù, sia di pesce,di carne e addirittura vegano.La parte del giardino da me scelta per il mio evento detta Zona Rose,è strepitosa.Un colpo d'occhio sul casale di pietra,che offre per il mio fotografo, spunti eccezionali.Un grazie particolare va al Maitre' Paolo Totino,che ha seguito passo passo con dovizia di particolari il mio evento e le mie richieste.Consigliatissimo a coloro I quali vogliono garantirsi una location da sogno per gli eventi più importanti.

09/11/2024: We tried to call to book several times and we didn't receive an answer, from here we had to understand that it was better not to leave from home, but we tried anyway. When we arrived at the restaurant we discovered that it was closed for holidays, a communication written on a sheet of paper attached to the wall. I would recommend updating the closure also on Google/Maps or alternatively also on social media since they have an Instagram page.

03/11/2024: Nice looking place but with a slightly fake antique style. Normal appetizer, very good classic dish. Negative staff and service: no one welcomed us upon arrival. We waited longer than necessary to order and to do so we had to ask for the menu ourselves. For two appetizers and 4 first courses we waited 3 hours and 20 minutes. We would need an extra waiter or at least staff who know how to do their job.

31/08/2024: For the umpteenth time I'm back from yeast, we sat down at 8.52pm, we didn't order starters to enjoy the pizza better, at 9.07pm we were already having dinner, I said everything. The efficiency of order management and preparation is unparalleled, as is the quality of the ingredients and pizza dough. Compliments

16/08/2024: Locale accogliente, personale gentile e sorridente che segue i clienti dall’ingresso ai saluti finali. La pizza è buonissima, si evince dal gusto l’uso di materie prime di ottima qualità. Ottima anche la pizza senza glutine che non ha nulla da invidiare a quella tradizionale! Assolutamente consigliato! Lasciatevi guidare da Maurizio e dal suo staff e vedrete che diventerete clienti abituali. Possibilità di cenare in veranda godendo di un fantastico panorama!

10/12/2024: Scilla is a tiny - though extremely attractive - place. I'd probably given up on finding craft beer and, perhaps, had even resigned myself to any early night (heaven forbid) when I stumbled on this place. Okay, it's a wine bar but beggars can't be choosers and they had a fridge full of tiny cans of craft all from the same brewery and all colourfully illustrated in a cohesive style. It was a duty - but a pleasant one - to work my way through them all! I think we were the last people remaining when they shut down for the day but they said we were welcome to remain (given that we were sitting outside) until we were finished. This is a benefit of drinking cans/bottles I guess but also fairly common, and deeply appreciated, in Europe.

18/11/2024: At the beginning we received lasagna, aged and then simply reheated. Totally inedible. The owner approached the topic honorably and allowed us to choose dishes again. We decided on Foccata and Piadine. Edible, but poor quality. You can't spoil beer from a bottle. The drinks are tasty, hence the higher star.

14/08/2024: Beautiful kiosk with a nice panoramic point of Stilo and the entire Ionian coast. I tasted the bergamot granita, superb 🤤

27/08/2024: Accueil assez froid, la serveuse manque vraiment d'amabilité et de professionnalisme. Les plats sont corrects sans plus, et l'addition salée. Mieux vaut aller voir ailleurs, c'est mieux et moins cher!

31/10/2024: I went in for a coffee and left with a tray full of sweets. The managers are very nice and very empathetic. Kindness and friendliness accompany their gestures and attention. The dessert counter has an irresistible appeal, especially for those like me who can't do without it. Gerace is gorgeous, it's worth getting there.

05/09/2024: Finalmente sono riuscito a trovare un posto dove la squisitezza del cibo , la gentilezza e l'accortezza del titolare e l'ambiente più che accogliente ci riporta a sapori dimenticati e a un luogo fantastico. Abbiamo mangiato come se non ci fosse un domani , l'inizio è stato fantastico per la varietà e la quantità di antipasti che solamente con questi ti potevi ritenere soddisfatto, il primo piatto fatto con una pasta fatta in casa da loro con un ragù da leccarsi i baffi , il secondo piatto di carne fatta arrosto e per finire frutta e sgroppino di limone , tutto questo per la modica cifra di 30 € a persona , quindi da non perdere assolutamente se volete sentire i sapori di un tempo .

29/08/2024: I discovered this Agristurismo site through a French television show. During our trip to Italy I organized my son's birthday there. The Riggio family was fantastic, they listened and prepared a festive menu that we will remember. We were able to taste all their specialties and have a birthday meal with homemade cakes, a delight. In addition, a nice attention to the fact that I was lactose intolerant. A very pleasant moment with a presentation of their Hacienda and a visit to the premises. The place facing the sea is typical Calabrian on the heights, in the Lazzaro region. Another big thank you to the Riggio family.

07/12/2024: I went to this establishment for a dinner with colleagues. Very nice and welcoming structure. Varied menu with typical local products. Friendly and helpful staff. Being a Saturday evening the service was a little slower, but this is normal when the establishment is full. Medium-high price, but the structure already makes it clear that we are talking about a higher-than-average level of catering.
