A location with a large, well-kept garden and a typical trattoria interior. I went with very high expectations, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to them: the pasta was loose and a bit bland, the lamb was a bit tough, and the tart was of questionable quality. The staff was friendly.

The appetizer was not bad; the first course (tagliatelle alla boscaiola) was truly tasty. Desserts were good. The menu isn't particularly varied, but the service is quite quick. I'll try one of their meat-based main courses next time. The atmosphere is welcoming, simple yet delightful, and the terrace offers a beautiful view. The friendly and helpful staff welcomed us graciously even though we were close to the kitchen closing time.

We went to this restaurant for lunch. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. Among the appetizers, we particularly enjoyed the cured meats, tripe, arancini with nduja, and so on. Among the first courses, the pasta with cod and the pasta with artichokes and crispy pancetta. Among the second courses, the mixed grill and the wood-fired chicken were delicious. Excellent, we'll be back.

I spent many summers in Caulonia, but during the summer it becomes difficult to truly appreciate a place. The prevailing cuisines I've savored over time, as a Lodi native imported by love, were those of my mother-in-law and aunts (woe betide anyone who misses an appointment). Marcello was therefore a surprise. The restaurant has been "clean" since its renovation, easier to get to than it was years ago. A beautiful terrace that I imagine would be pleasantly enjoyed on spring/summer evenings. Excellent food. Typical appetizers, which are actually not at all typical because everyone prepares them differently; here at Marcello's they are very pleasant and "saucy," just right, not too heavy, with light and tasty fried foods (the zippuli on sunnu are made in a unique way!!!). Truly well-made first courses, with a courteous assize court above all others. The wine list is understated but well-chosen, and doesn't overdo it, excluding any "international" options. Overall, a very fair quality-to-price ratio. Impeccable service. A table near Alexia, but with good music. The spacious space is pleasantly accommodating even the potential for English beer-fueled noise. Worth a try, even in the summer.

We went to this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. Everything was truly delicious and cooked with skill and love. The ingredients were of the highest quality. A cured meat appetizer unlike anything you've found anywhere else. The pasta with mushrooms was plentiful, delicious, and especially "with mushrooms." The wood-fired pork shank was sublime, soft and juicy. The homemade desserts are also worth it. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. We'll be back!

08/06/2026: So I liked the service, the friendly and professional welcome, and I enjoyed the food and drink. I appreciated the Italian atmosphere on a Saturday night. But I didn't like paying €14 for two glasses of Prosecco (€14 a bottle on the menu).
25/05/2026: A few days ago, I called to make a lunch reservation at this restaurant. The friendliness and precision immediately stood out. Mr. Carmelo, who is also the chef, assisted by his wife, were exceptional; the food was perfect, plentiful, and above all, truly delicious. It took us back in time, with that flavor that only grandmothers and mothers could create with simple yet genuine ingredients. From appetizers to first courses, continuing on to meat-based main courses and finally dessert, they showcase the exceptional quality of this young restaurant couple, full of small innovations, typical of the old-fashioned cuisine. For me, the shank and the hand-sliced ​​sausage were unrivaled. If you're in the Gallina area, go. TOP RESTAURANT.

Sesto Senso

22/05/2026: I had the pleasure of trying the Sesto Senso pizzeria and restaurant, and I can say it's excellent in every way. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very attentive to cleanliness. The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste it in every dish. The highlight, from what I've tasted, is definitely the pizza: light, flavorful, and perfectly topped, a true delight. I've also purchased takeout pizzas and mini rotisserie items, and everything was truly excellent. My guests also loved it. I highly recommend this place!
18/05/2026: This was my first time trying their pizza, recommended by a colleague. I have to say, with great surprise, it was a truly good pizza...not too thin, crispy, with a good selection of ingredients; in short, I found it truly delicious. The quality/price ratio is also superb. Highly recommended...I'll definitely recommend it again.
