12/04/2026: Interesting place, rustic yet modern. We had a seafood and rustic appetizer, and it was an appetizer that doubled as dinner, and what a dinner it was!!! A taste of everything that's delicious in Calabria. An excellent tasting experience. Barone Rosso is a place I recommend if you're in Gioiosa Ionica 😃

05/12/2025: Very expensive. €75 for one night, in an old, cold room, with no curtains. Impossible to heat... Steep stairs outside the entrance, no elevator. Laundry dries on the room floor; it's so elegant! It says "gluten free," but breakfast has no gluten-free bread or biscuits!

20/08/2025: What a wonderful experience! It's not often you find a place where, in addition to good food, you also experience such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. When a family puts passion into their work, it's immediately evident, and it makes everything more authentic.
