02/05/2026: We are Genoese on a short vacation in this beautiful region. We had a wonderful meal. The place was splendid. The welcome was exceptional. The tables were very comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend it because it was a wonderful experience. Thanks to the family who runs the restaurant for their kindness and hospitality.
01/05/2026: A well-deserved five stars! The real selling point of this place is definitely the team: from the owner to the staff. A family-friendly atmosphere, and delicious food!

26/03/2026: The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. We opted for the 120 euro set menu. The chef's combinations of ingredients were excellent, especially the fresh red prawns, which were a delicious addition.

07/04/2026: I have been going to Golosia for years now and it is always top notch, both the food and the atmosphere. The service is excellent, the waiters are polite and very kind. I recommend it both for a quick ice cream and if you want to enjoy a tea, an aperitif or an excellent sandwich. We returned last night for an excellent ice cream, always top notch.

12/04/2026: Interesting place, rustic yet modern. We had a seafood and rustic appetizer, and it was an appetizer that doubled as dinner, and what a dinner it was!!! A taste of everything that's delicious in Calabria. An excellent tasting experience. Barone Rosso is a place I recommend if you're in Gioiosa Ionica 😃

05/12/2025: Very expensive. €75 for one night, in an old, cold room, with no curtains. Impossible to heat... Steep stairs outside the entrance, no elevator. Laundry dries on the room floor; it's so elegant! It says "gluten free," but breakfast has no gluten-free bread or biscuits!
20/08/2025: I only had dinner there for 4 evenings. Very kind, fast and above all you eat really a lot and well. I would add that the spaghetti alla Corte d'Assise were created by them. So I've said it all.
