12/04/2026: I've spent two nights in Scilla and eaten here two days! Right across from the beach, fresh fish and seafood, friendly atmosphere and service, fantastic value for money. We had a white wine they produce that was superbly priced and of excellent quality.

The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is amazing and the atmosphere helps make you feel at home. I strongly recommend you visit if you are in the area. You will be thinking about their linguine pasta until you go again!

15/04/2026: We had dinner at this trattoria on Saturday evening, my husband, I, and our two children, ages 9 and 12. The staff was fantastic: friendly, welcoming, kind, and extremely helpful. The atmosphere was very informal and easy-going, just like a trattoria. But the trattoria-like characteristics stop there, in the sense that the quality of the fish, the presentation of the dishes, and their deliciousness are those of a true restaurant! They offer dishes based on the catch of the day, a guarantee of the freshest fish! We had their antipasto: ENDLESS! Cold, hot, and even raw dishes. Everything was exceptional! We had two appetizers that we shared with the kids, but those were already practically full. So many different but original, tasty, and excellent quality courses! Then we had two spaghetti agli scogli, one spaghetti with crab (the crab is caught alive from the aquarium!!), and swordfish rolls! They looked truly excellent, and the beautiful appearance confirmed the taste. Everything was exceptional, you could taste the fish was incredibly fresh, it melted in your mouth!!! And the portions were truly generous!!! And the price was truly competitive: 2 complete appetizers, 3 first courses, 1 second course, wine, water, and 2 sorbets for €120!!!! For what we ate, both in terms of quality and quantity, I assure you, it was really cheap! Really, congratulations!!!!! I've already recommended it to all my friends!!!

07/12/2025: Mr. Condoluci, I'm not used to responding to keyboard warriors, as you can see from my history. I'd simply like to explain to you that the decision to serve an aperitif/appetizer at the buffet isn't always tied to the restaurant, but to agreements made with the bride and groom. In any case, plates, cutlery, and bread are generally placed at the entrance to every buffet. If, during a lunch/dinner—where diners nowadays enjoy several dishes each—the station is left uncovered for a few minutes, you should know that the service is possible thanks to human staff, not robots. So, the attitude of a polite person like yourself would be to inform the Maître d'Hôtel or any waiter, who I can promptly assure you will resolve your issue. But honestly, criticizing a wedding service to the point of not recommending it seems excessive to me. Remember, these are jobs that are most often handled with extra, therefore non-regular, staff, which can easily lead to trivial distractions. In the next review, please advise us to pay a little more attention ⚠️ to these things, but not to so strongly discourage a restaurant that has been successfully serving many ceremonies for years. The good thing about Ristorante San Michele is that we were born restaurateurs, not made over time—this is what makes this place stand out! 10/02/2026: I had lunch at Al Vecchio Mulino. The food was excellent, carefully prepared, and rich in flavor. But what struck me most was the infinite kindness of all the staff: attentive, smiling, and always available. The place was beautiful and welcoming. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

04/01/2026: We celebrated my birthday here after visiting the wonderful Musaba open-air museum in Mammola. The restaurant was welcoming and clean. The lunch, featuring pasta with traditional stockfish and meat dishes presented on a griddle, was excellent. The wait staff was helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Andrea and Ilenia.
