06/11/2023: Great atmosphere, but prices too exorbitant for food that is nothing special. I ate well, of course, but for the prices I expected more. The house appetizer (mix of raw and cooked) is spectacular; I also took spaghetti with mussels and clams but the flavor was totally canceled out by the enormous quantity of garlic inside; the sword rolls were nothing special, in fact too dry. Maybe the choice fell on less than excellent dishes, but I hope to change my mind next time I return

07/04/2024: Scilla seafront, the location speaks for itself. Dated but welcoming atmosphere. The food isn't bad, I ate some excellent spaghetti with squid ink. Qualified, friendly and helpful staff.

31/03/2024: Very fresh fish, abundant and delicious dishes, I highly recommend it.

05/04/2024: Although there was considerable confusion, we were served in an acceptable time. The tables are outdoors on the main street of Chianalea. We ordered the tasting platter, the Calabria Slowfood dish and a simple focaccia to accompany, all good. It is a valid alternative for lunch if you are in the area for a walk.

30/01/2024: We quickly stopped to eat for lunch before continuing with our activities, very friendly waiters, excellent cold cuts and cheese platter, wonderful bergamot spritz. Good value for money. I'll come with more time next summer!

11/03/2024: Fantastic experience at this top notch restaurant. Starting from the service, very professional but which made us feel pampered and perfectly accompanied the exquisite dishes. We really appreciated the quality and the fresh fish, but the strong points of the place are certainly the hospitality and kindness of the owners. We will definitely be back to try other specialties!

25/10/2023: Nothing to complain about the food which I found fresh and well prepared and the service offered by the kind lady. The paccheri are good, the mussel peppered is excellent and the swordfish is fresh. One would certainly expect a different atmosphere in the place with the top rating, Scilla, according to Tripadvisor which is a micro restaurant with a menu of 8 dishes, without dessert, which serves you with cutlery and plastic plates, on an audience with a capacity of 5 tables on the street, with cars passing you 1 meter from where you eat! But Street Good indeed, in the full sense of the term! 30 euros, willingly paid, for half a portion of paccheri, a peppered mussels, a slice of swordfish and a delicious Messina beer.

26/03/2024: I confirm the fact that the antipasto is the restaurant's flagship dish and I recommend sharing it with another person. If you like seafood, you are in for a treat. The woman who served us was very warm. On the other hand, I will not recommend desserts that are not homemade (but this was indicated by the waitress). It's a good address, the prices are correct. Go for it!

02/01/2024: Cena al Casato il 30 dicembre. Abbiamo alloggiato presso il hotel e non potevamo non provare il loro ristorante. Atmosfera molto accogliente. Piatti buonissimi con ottima qualità della materia prima. Tornerò!
