14/09/2025: Wonderful experience! We spent a week at Lido Baffo. Initially, we were a bit lost, unfamiliar with the area. After meeting Mr. Isidoro and his son, Giovanni, everything changed. They made us feel at home with their sweetness, kindness, and helpfulness, guiding us through the best ways to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The lido is very well-maintained and quiet, the sea is gorgeous, and even the bathrooms are very well-kept. We couldn't help but capture a moment with our dear Mr. Isidoro! ❤️

09/11/2025: I have been eating there all the greenhouses for 8 months, I also celebrated my birthday together with my husband and the workers, we are in San Giovanni for work, we will bring back to Ragusa the pleasure of homemade food, stratospheric pizza and hospitality, they made us feel at home with kindness, availability, jokes and always with a smile.

21/06/2025: I have been there several times. Exceptional, staff always very helpful, I happened to have to cancel a reservation at the last minute due to a family problem and I only lost a very small deposit left at the time of booking. They did not ask me for anything else.

Excellent, from appetizers to main courses, including the service. However, we found the meat to be overcooked. The dessert was good. Everything was plentiful. The cured meats were excellent.

03/01/2026: When looking for a place to stay, even for just one night, you want to find the best for a relaxing, worry-free vacation. Start with the PROS and CONS. For this B&B, I found only PROS: the location, the cleanliness, the SUPER breakfast, and last but not least: the friendliness, hospitality, and attentiveness of the owners Vincenzo and Mascia, from booking to checkout. Highly recommended!

29/09/2025: The "Vecchia Guardia" restaurant clearly aspires to a luxury category, but it is light years away from understanding the fundamental needs of its guests. Our dinner experience for four on August 21, 2025, was a complete failure, especially regarding food allergies. Lack of Seriousness about "Gluten Free" We booked specifically because the website guaranteed availability for allergens, including gluten-free. Once seated, the unpleasant surprise: my wife, a celiac, was categorically denied any dish, including a simple slice of grilled meat. The only option was bottled water! This isn't "willingness to accommodate any need," but a clear example of misleading advertising aimed solely at attracting customers. Small Portions and Mediocre Quality The dishes were somewhere between meager and mediocre, with a presentation that was meant to mimic that of a "starred chef," but I'll leave you to imagine... with a quality that was, let's say, mediocre. The small quantity is unacceptable unless supported by an excellence that was totally absent here. The Bill: The Height of Negligence The highlight was the bill. Not only did they add a cover charge to my wife, who, through their negligence, was unable to eat anything, but, even more seriously, they included two dishes that were never served due to a clear oversight in the service. We had to point out the error to the waiter (who crossed out the amounts) and then again to the cashier, where the person in charge had not yet crossed out the missing side dishes, leaving the restaurant at 10:33 PM after the complaint. Disconcerting Service Finally, the service was disconcerting to say the least. The waiters and the lady kept bringing bread and other gluten-containing dishes right in front of my celiac wife. This is a total lack of care and professionalism, especially after being informed of her celiac disease. To describe the experience as "disappointing" is an understatement. It was unacceptable. I hope anyone reading this review will appreciate how carelessly this restaurant handles its promises and the basic needs of its customers.

29/08/2025: We went to this restaurant and had a really great time. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. The value for money was excellent. We absolutely recommend it! If we ever find ourselves here on vacation, we'll be back! Thank you for the quality of the food and your professionalism!

From the moment you step inside, you realize you're not just in a restaurant, but in a dining room dedicated to flavor. The real added value is Luisa herself. She's the beating heart of the hosteria: she welcomes guests with infectious passion and expertly guides them through their dish selection. It's rare to find an owner so dedicated to showcasing the provenance and freshness of the ingredients; Luisa makes sure you almost "know" the day's catch before it arrives at the table, instilling absolute trust. Fish, of course, is the undisputed star. The quality is excellent, but it's the execution that makes the difference: perfectly cooked dishes that respect the delicate flavors of the sea, without unnecessary frills, focusing entirely on substance and freshness. Every bite confirms the extreme care put into the kitchen. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. When the ingredients are of this quality and the service is so attentive and genuine, the value for money is fair and satisfying. In short: A must-try for those who love real fresh fish and are looking for an authentic atmosphere led by an exceptional hostess. I will definitely be back!

14/11/2025: This evening I remembered to review it; I've been meaning to do so for a while. This is my second time back at this pizzeria, and I brought my father, an elderly man from the south, to visit me. The traditional Neapolitan pizza is delicious, flavorful, and light. We loved it and will be back. By the way, Stefano, the pizza chef, is a very kind and polite guy.

29/01/2026: ⭐ 1 STAR – ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I'VE EVER HAD A dinner that could only be described as awful. Hot and cold appetizers were a nightmare: everything was covered in mustard in a clear attempt to disguise ingredients of questionable quality. Smelly salmon, old mussels, frozen and inedible octopus. Disgusted, my mother and I left the room without continuing our dinner. It was impossible to continue. Despite this, we paid €80, without making a scene, with politeness and respect—qualities we unfortunately didn't receive in return. As if that weren't enough, the owner's son even insulted us after we legitimately complained about the food. This was serious, unacceptable, and completely unprofessional behavior. Paying for nothing and then being insulted is something that should never happen in a restaurant open to the public. A humiliating experience. Absent quality. Nonexistent respect for the customer. Absolutely not recommended. Never again.

We opted for a seafood and meat menu, and everything was simply exceptional: dishes crafted with attention to detail, top-quality ingredients, and flavors that truly delighted all our guests. Every course was a delight, from start to finish. A special thanks goes to the owner, Santo, a truly extraordinary person: super professional, always present, attentive to every need, yet at the same time kind, helpful, and capable of making you feel at home. You can clearly see the passion he puts into his work, and that makes all the difference. The organization was impeccable, the service attentive and punctual, the atmosphere perfect for such a special occasion. I received so many compliments from our guests, and that says it all. If you're looking for a place to celebrate an important event, eat beautifully, and feel welcomed with a smile, this venue is an absolute must. A heartfelt thank you to Santo and all the staff for making my graduation party unforgettable. I'll definitely be back!

We ate a rich appetizer, from cold cuts and cheeses to grilled vegetables and hot meatballs. The pizza was excellent, and the stuffed potatoes with sausage were very tasty. We had a great time. I highly recommend it.
