02/07/2025: Nice bar, clean and tidy, friendly staff but absurd prices, out of any concept. Tiny and not very good fior di latte ice cream (a spoonful to be clear) €3. Also I understood that there is a price difference between a cone and a cup. The coffee was good €1.20...in line with current prices let's say.

06/05/2025: In visita al centro commerciale, ci fermiamo per un caffè. Bar piuttosto fornito a prezzi giusti. Caffè discreto e personale che mi è parso attento e gentile.

27/04/2025: Premetto che ero già stato piu volte in questo locale (la mia ultima presenza risaliva al gennaio 2024) quasi sempre di sabato sera. In tutte le occasioni avevo sempre avuto una discreta impressione generale tra qualità della musica live e a sprazzi anche del cibo. Decido di tornare dopo un po di tempo insieme ad un paio di amici per trascorrere un sabato sera tranquillo. Piú che parlare di cosa ho mangiato o del fatto che il locale fosse fondamentale semi vuoto fino alle 23 circa mi soffermo sull’episodio a mio parere “discutibile” che ha minato la credibilità del locale. Intorno alle 23.15 per un “imprevisto” siamo costretti anzitempo a lasciare il locale con l’intento di ritornare molto presto.. Nel farlo saldiamo il conto e chiediamo alla cassa se fosse possibile rientrare piu tardi, ci assicurano di si ricordando il numero del tavolo. Poco dopo lo scoccare della mezzanotte rientriamo prontamente presso il locale e al momento del nostro rientro ci viene detto che si trattava di “dopocena” e per farlo avremmo dovuto pagare ben 10€ a persona per la consumazione! Chiaramente una mancanza di rispetto simile per chi ha avuto un imprevisto dopo che ci era stato detto che saremmo potuto rientrare non può essere tollerata. Sarebbe stato più opportuno dirlo prima che il secondo ingresso si sarebbe dovuto pagare. Un pò come andare in discoteca, fare 2 passi fuori e al ritorno mi facessero pagare l’ingresso da capo: mai visto! Specialmente perché avevamo prenotato il tavolo delle 21.30 proprio con l’intento di rimanere a lungo. Onestamente c’è stato poco da controbattere.. L’episodio si commenta da solo.

24/03/2025: I highly recommend the closure of this place. Only pasta with scampi was offered, starters nothing, main courses nothing.. In the end we had pasta made with garlic, oil and chilli which arrived very al dente and tasted of nothing. If you no longer feel like it, it's better to step aside and stop cooking.

27/05/2025: Not sure why overall review is so low, but I had 3 dishes and white wine.. pescatore pasta, local calabria sausage, salad and 1/2 litre of vino blanco.. everything was great and a great ocean breeze to enjoy it with

27/12/2024: We ate at this restaurant on the occasion of a wedding anniversary, on St. Stephen's Day. The environment is rustic and welcoming, a little out of the way, immersed in the Piana di Cerchiara. We tasted about ten appetizers, including aubergines in oil, cannellini beans, livers (not exceptional), tripe with potatoes, potatoes and peppers (normal), cured meats, cheeses etc..., a good pasta with mushrooms, straccetti (the only sour note because the meat was tough), lemon scallops (good) and various side dishes. They couldn't help but finish with a well-presented pineapple, bitters and coffee. Honest prices and overall satisfactory.

01/09/2024: Starving, they had to pay my friends 4 crowns and they chased us to the car, both the cashier and the valet as if we were thieves after having left them at least 300/400 euros.

29/08/2024: The Lidio is really great! The beach is large and offers enough space, so you have enough space to relax even on busy days. The beach itself is beautiful and well maintained, the water is clear and inviting. Particularly impressive is the beautiful bar area right on the beach, which is not only stylishly designed but also offers a good selection of drinks and snacks. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, which makes the stay even more pleasant. Everything is clean and tidy, so you can feel completely comfortable. I would love to come back and can only recommend the Lidio!

31/05/2025: We asked for pizza with salami, and instead in the bag - pizza margherita ... 4 slices paid €20 ... instead of napkins - baking paper 🫣 But are we in Milan? At Corso Mazzini further on we got pizzas €2.50 per slice and above all with the requested flavor without having to wait

12/06/2025: Trebisacce, 12 giugno 2025, giovedì. La precisazione s’impone per chiarire che siamo lontani dalla cosiddetta “alta stagione che, in questa remota plaga della Calabria Jonica, copre il breve lasso temporale che va dal 15 luglio al 20 agosto. Accaldato dallo scirocco e abbandonato dallo stabilimento balneare dove ho passato le ultime estati varco la soglia del Lido Capri. Alla sorridente signora che mi accoglie domando un ombrellone con lettino e un caffè. Presto fatto: ombrellone e lettino ( terza fila) 20 €, caffè 1.50 €. Pago ringrazio e mi accomodo. Mentre mi rosolo al sole vengo assalito da una curiosità: com’è possibile che uno stabilimento balneare identico a quello che ho sempre frequentato costi il quadruplo e, addirittura sia più caro anche sul prezzo del caffè ? Il mare è uguale, la spiaggia idem, i servizi pure… dov’è la ragione di tanta clamorosa disparità ? L’unica che ho trovato è quella che da il titolo alla recensione: il transfert semantico. A furia di sentire che si va al lido Capri o, più semplicemente, al Capri, i proprietari devono essersi convinti che, invece che nella derelitta Trebisacce, gestiscono uno stabilimento balneare a Capri con tanto di vista sui Faraglioni. E non finisce qui, la direzione di questo prestigioso esercizio turistico deve aver reputato ancora insufficiente il prezzo pagato dal malcapitato visitatore. Infatti per fare la doccia è necessario pagare 50 centesimi per l’acqua fredda e ( giuro ! ) 1 € per la calda. Per completezza val la pena aggiungere che, sulla spiaggia libera, l’uso delle docce è gratuito ! Affascinato da questa geniale trovata di marketing mi sono concesso un bagno rigenerante nelle acque fresche e cristalline. Un bagno di nove minuti e cinquanta secondi. Mi è sorto il dubbio infatti che, ai dieci minuti scattasse un sovrapprezzo di 5 €… Come diceva il grande Cannavacciuolo al termine delle puntate di Cucine da incubo: Lido Capri, adios !

12/05/2025: Superlativo perche è l'aggettivo più adatto a questo ristorantino di pesce gestito in maniera perfetta dai titolari già dall'accoglienza. La varietà del menù e soprattutto la qualità del pesce e delle altre materie prime fanno la differenza. Solo un arrivederci a prestissimo.

13/04/2025: I'm Mexican, I was looking for something Mexican and this is not real Mexican food, it's more like the "gringa" and it looks very expensive too, so I won't go, without sauces it's not Mexico.

30/03/2025: We went to this Mexican restaurant for dinner for two. The place is very aesthetically pleasing and the atmosphere is pleasant. We ordered an appetizer of nachos with tomatoes, cheese and guacamole, followed by two burritos accompanied by fries, all accompanied by two draft beers and a bottle of water. The nachos were a pleasant surprise for me: they had a thicker and more "homemade" appearance compared to the thinner and more commercial ones, and the flavor confirmed this impression. Well seasoned and tasty, they were certainly the most successful dish of the dinner. The burritos, however, left me with some doubts. I chose the one with chicken, onion and salad, while my fiancé opted for the one with vegetables and cheese. The main problem is that more than burritos, they looked like simple stuffed wraps. In fact, fundamental ingredients (which I expected) such as rice and beans, which characterize the traditional Mexican version, were missing. They look more like wraps. The taste itself wasn't bad, in fact they were good, but it didn't reflect the authenticity one would expect from such a dish. The service, however, was good: the waiter was attentive and kind, asking us several times if everything was to our liking, both during dinner and at the time of payment. Ultimately, the place is nice and the service is good, but for those looking for a truly Mexican experience it could be disappointing.

17/06/2025: Group lunch on a holiday. Fine food and fast service

08/06/2025: Had to wait 15 minutes with PriorityPass Membership to get in, due to rush hour at the airport, but the wait was worth it. Friendly staff, explained everything how it works here. Got some really good lunch, 2 soups, various hot and cold dishes like lasagna, pork ribs, beef stew, and some dessert choices as well. Juices and other soft drinks as well as coffee are included, as are 2 alcoholic drinks from the bar. Our table was cleaned from dirty dishes multiple times and we were also asked how we liked the food and the lounge. Nice background music, would come again.

05/06/2025: Updated…they finally brought out the delicious soup and other hot lunch items at 2:00 and are keeping it clean. It Used to cost around $32 US each now it’s $55 per person and isn’t worth it. No hot food, rolls with 2 lunch meat options and couple different cheeses, lettuce, tomatoe slices and shredded carrots. No mayo or mustard. The chafing pans sat empty. Tables had dirty dishes until I asked if one could be cleaned for us. Food on the floor no one bothered cleaning while we were there. They used to serve a delicious vegetable soup but no more and now you can only have 1 cocktail! Bathrooms are very clean Waste of money for the price. It does not make you feel like a VIP and is nothing like other lounges we have been to.
