15/07/2025: We recently visited this cafe and were disappointed. We ordered ice cream for a large group and sat down at a table, but were rudely asked to leave because we didn’t get ice cream in a glass container. Why does this rule only apply to us, when other guests were sitting quietly with disposable cups? It seems that the administration cares more about unrealistic rules than about the comfort of customers. This was not our first, but probably the last visit to this establishment. We hope that the cafe will review its policies so as not to lose customers in the future.

15/07/2025: The gelato here is truly delicious, and for several days we've come here to buy some for the kids in the afternoon. Today we returned with some friends. We bought six gelatos (small and large) and sat at a table. As you can see in the photo, the tables were empty. A waiter approached us and literally chased us away, saying that to sit at the table you have to order gelato in a glass (as he said). I'm sure we spent more for our six gelatos than, for example, the four people sitting next to us who shared a single gelato. I've never been kicked off a table at an gelato shop; it was truly unpleasant. We finished our gelato sitting on the sidewalk, to avoid the kids eating it while walking and getting dirty. It ruined our mood. We definitely won't be returning.

17/08/2025: Had an excellent meal here yesterday. The atmosphere was pleasant. The two waitresses were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a menù fisso. The antipasto consisted of 11 (!!!) different samples. 😋 Simply delicious. Then primo e secondo. Top value, service, and quality.👍

13/08/2025: We had dinner about ten days ago at this agriturismo, just a few kilometers from the historic center of Bova. It was a very positive experience, from the welcome to the food. We had the pleasure of trying two versions of Lestopitta, thanks to the helpfulness of the pizza chef, and were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness and simplicity of this under-advertised dish. We ate wonderfully and will definitely return. PS: They have their own wine, well worth trying (especially with meat dishes), and an excellent amaro, which we also ended up purchasing in the 70cl version.

27/08/2025: After last year's positive experience, my family and I returned for an evening. Unfortunately, it was nothing like last year. We ordered two fried fish dishes. Horrible, completely burned. It's a shame, they lost a lot of points, I'm sorry.

05/09/2025: It's become a must-try for dinner every time I go to Scalea because everything is truly delicious. It's a pub that offers local ingredients and delicious sandwiches. The place is located just 20 meters from the historic center, and the staff are very kind and helpful. You can make any request. They'll accommodate your every need. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: We spent €43 for four people and ate really, really well. We arrived hungry, nervous because we didn't know where to eat, and confused because we didn't know what to eat. When we arrived, they gave us a really nice welcome. I don't know if it's family-run, but they made me feel that way—really kind and adorable. The three of us created our own burgers, and we were all four satisfied with what we ate. The cover charge is €1, very cheap—I'm mentioning this because it costs a lot in other places. Honestly, I really appreciated it. The price is fair, the food is good, the music is great, and the restrooms are super clean. Highly recommended. We arrived by chance on that street, so we didn't book. I don't think it's necessary, but maybe it depends on the time of day.

26/08/2025: You can find everything from meats, fruit and cold cuts to souvenirs. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and it's already the second time I've been there, I hope to return.

04/08/2025: We found this rotisserie by chance, and I must say we returned several times during our vacation, even though it's a bit far from our accommodation. The service is friendly and helpful, the quality of the products is very good, and there's a wide selection to please everyone. The flavor and combination of ingredients in some of the slices (parmigiana, Americana, cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella, etc.) is truly excellent. The prices are fair, and there's plenty of space both inside and out for dining.

31/07/2025: Sono ritornato dopi un anno in questo posto memore della bella serata trascora 1anno fa.Grande delusione oltre al prezzo aumentato in un anno del 10%(da 30euro a 35)anche l'atmosfera è completamente cambiata oltre alla qualità del cibo,al di sotto della media di 1anno fa.Dei Pascoli di Ulisse solo i Pascoli sono rimasti,Ulisse è andato via.

26/07/2025: Se vuoi provare la vera cucina calabra devi per forza venire ai Pascoli di Ulisse. Piatti e antipasti buonissimi, frutto di una cucina genuina fatta con passione. Consigliamo di andare a stomaco moooolto vuoto. Porzioni abbondanti terminate con un buon amaro e dolce della casa. Prezzo ottimo per la quantità. Grazie anche ai proprietari, servizio attento e veloce. Torneremo sicuramente!

14/08/2025: A pleasant, average restaurant with a simple, welcoming atmosphere. The fish was fresh and well-prepared, no surprises, but good quality. I had swordfish. My girlfriend had spaghetti with shrimp and pistachios. The service was friendly. Overall, I'd say the four stars are fair. I'd gladly return for a casual dinner.
