The artisanal quality is palpable in every single dessert, starting from the selection of raw materials, such as figs and candied fruit, to the care in preparation. You can clearly perceive the passion and research that lies behind each creation. A round of applause also goes to the customer service, always available and attentive to the customer's needs. We have ordered several times from northern Italy and the shipments have been impeccable: on time and with shock-proof packaging that guarantees the integrity of the products. Garritano represents a Calabrian excellence that deserves to be known and appreciated throughout Italy and beyond. For us, Christmas, Easter and every other celebration would not be the same without their delicious products, especially figs and candied fruit, which have now become an essential tradition.

25/07/2025: Frequento questa pizzeria da molti anni e ogni volta è una garanzia. Anche durante l’ultima cena in due, con la sala interna quasi al completo e il caldo estivo all’esterno, l’ambiente è rimasto piacevolmente fresco grazie a un’ottima climatizzazione. Le porzioni sono abbondanti: una porzione di patatine dippers è più che sufficiente per due persone. Un dettaglio da non sottovalutare è la generosa quantità di salse, spesso proporzionata al numero di porzioni ordinate in altri locali. Le pizze, come sempre, deliziose: ben condite, cotte alla perfezione nel forno a legna e davvero saporite. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: personale cordiale, attento e rapidissimo, nonostante l’elevato numero di clienti. Tempi d’attesa praticamente nulli. Il conto? Assolutamente onesto: con una dippers, due pizze ben farcite, un’acqua, una Coca Cola (da 33 in vetro) e un caffè abbiamo speso solo 30€. Davvero raro trovare un simile equilibrio tra qualità, quantità e prezzo. Consigliatissima!

29/08/2025: A simple restaurant overlooking the old tower and the Capo Rizzuto inlet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The spaghetti with sea urchins is delicious, and the seafood ravioli is extraordinary, as is the trofie allo scoglio. I would definitely return.

31/08/2025: We had a very pleasant evening at this pizzeria: the crunchy pizza was excellent, carefully prepared with good-quality ingredients. The fried foods were surprisingly light and flavorful. The service was quick, organized, and friendly, ensuring a dinner without long waits. The only thing that could be improved was the ventilation in the dining room, which was completely lacking on a warm evening, making the atmosphere a bit stuffy. Overall, a place worth trying.

22/08/2025: The antipasto degli ulivi was fairly mediocre, with pseudo-Eurospin cured meats and cheeses, dirty plates, dirty cutlery, and inattentive and chaotic service. Not a great experience upon arrival in Tropea.

22/08/2025: I'm sorry, but there's a lot of work to be done. The service staff are very kind and attentive, but otherwise there's little to be gained. The coordinator's agitation indicates organizational and coordination issues with the kitchen. The dishes came out in installments; the paccheri (a €25 dish) were served completely overcooked twice; the bill included two extra bottles of water and a side dish that never arrived. We expected at least some acknowledgement of the poor service instead of a wry smile.

11/08/2025: Great place to stop if you're traveling because it's close to the Rosarno exit. Everything is good, from starters to main courses. Fast service and clean restrooms. It's a far cry from stopping at gas stations, which are overrun with people, expensive for a snack, and, as usual, the restrooms are a disgrace. It's definitely better to eat off the highway, especially for fuel, of course. We'll definitely be back.
