14/12/2024: Mio cognato è fan di questo posto da quando l’ha scoperto. Ad accoglierci un ambienta caldo, ben tenuto, con un camino che ti scalda il cuore…. Siamo arrivati a mezzogiorno e ci siamo alzati alle 15.30… il tempo sembra volato, ma noi ci siamo sentiti a casa…. Menu’ ricco, sia mare che terra… noi abbiamo optato per piatti a base montagna. Un antipasto ricco con fritti, bruschetta e ricotta (lodevole) polpettine, frittata, cipolle agrodolce, salumi… una bontà! i primi che abbiamo scelto erano veramente squisiti: Scialatelli cremosi con broccolo e pancetta croccante. I fusilloni con nduja e ricotta(che goduria) I dolci meritano tutti…. Bravo anche il cameriere che ci ha servito … Servizio eccellente, e prezzo onestissimo. Passateci!

06/01/2025: The experience at Baira Malieni was unique. In the Baita the warm and typical wedding atmosphere perfectly matches the suggestive view. Traditional flavors are enhanced with innovative dishes with exceptional taste. The attention of the manager made the experience perfect, from the attention to the wines to accompany (we decided to pay homage to the delicious house wine), to the attention given to the various intolerances of those present. The queen of the appetizer was the fondue with mushrooms. The first courses with fresh pasta are delicious. The products are genuine and have an intoxicating flavour. We concluded with the typical chestnut desserts and with a house bitter served in a particular preparation that I recommend trying!

06/01/2025: Before arriving in the village there is a sign indicating the alternative road to the Baita which then leads to the Grotta di S. Angelo. It is best to take this road since the other one is interrupted due to construction work in progress. Cozy and well-run place by young enthusiasts who deserve 5 stars overall. Closed from 7 January 2025 for holidays.

17/01/2025: Simply fantastic, I didn't have time to take photos of the appetizers, simply excellent!!! I highly recommend this place, top quality, super fast service, a huge choice of products and very affordable prices!!! In short, an experience to do again and again 💯💯💯

04/10/2024: arriving in Gerace, we ask two gentlemen for a place where we can eat homemade ice cream, and we are immediately recommended the "sweet and savory bar" where they say it is the best ice cream in Gerace, we arrive at the bar and the very nice owner lets us taste it salted pistachio and saffron, FABULOUS ice cream, I think it is one of the best ice creams I have ever tasted, very honest price for two cones 5 euros, for the very high quality of the ice cream it is truly a very honest price, I highly recommend this place.

04/10/2024: arrivando a gerace, chiediamo a due signori un luogo dove poter mangiare un gelato artigianale, e subito ci viene consigliato il “bar dolce e salato” dove dicono che sia il miglior gelato di gerace, arriviamo al bar e il titolare molto simpatico ci fa assaggiare pistacchio salato e zafferano, gelato FAVOLOSO, penso sia uno dei migliori gelati che io abbia mai assaggiato, prezzo molto onesto due coni 5 euro, per l’altissima qualita del gelato è veramente un prezzo molto onesto, vi consiglio vivamente questo posto.

Devo dire che siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità del cibo locale e dalla qualità della cucina, inoltre un’altra nota a favore del locale è la cordialità sia del titolare che del personale. Credo che ci ritorneremo molto volentieri. Consigliatissimo!

01/01/2025: Cena di vigilia di Capodanno,locale pulitissimo e accogliente , personale professionale e molto garbato,titolare persona squisitissima ,eravamo un tavolo di 14 persone, servizio impeccabile e celere ad ogni portata disponibili anche nel cambio pietanze da menù per chi non gradiva il pesce e per chi non mangia formaggi,ci ritorneremo volentieri considerando che lo abbiamo sempre scelto anche per eventi importanti della famiglia ,ottima qualità del cibo ,cucinato in maniera succulenta , pianobar che ha animato e rallegrato la serata,complimenti, lo consiglio è un locale che non delude mai ,
