02/06/2025: Welcoming and very clean place, with very fast and attentive table service. The appetizer with various courses of stockfish was very good (except for the courgette flower fritters which were made only with flour, without courgette flowers), the first course with stockfish ragù was decent (I would have preferred it tastier), the stockfish au gratin was very good. The cheesecake with berry topping was excellent (and not with the berry toppings indicated on the menu). Honest prices

24/06/2025: Good food but not exactly cheap. A seafood risotto, and a second course of fish, wine and water for two 90 euros... You can't keep these prices in a provincial town in a restaurant near the station... I paid the same price taking more in Rimini in a beautiful terrace on the sea for two.
17/06/2025: Recommended by a Calabrian relative who lives in the area. Very fresh and delicious fish, I had the grouper and my partner the mixed grill, a large portion of grilled vegetables, for me who am vegetarian - but I eat fish - a real joy!
Only criticism... the extra virgin olive oil in plastic bags instead of bottles.

Il servizio è stato cordiale e attento, senza mai risultare invadente.
Un ristorante che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca qualità, freschezza e cura nei piatti a base di pesce.
08/07/2025: Una cena in famiglia con 5 Personen a giugno di lunedì, il ristorante pieno che senza riservare è difficile ottenere und tavolo.
Pesce fresco, personale accogliente e competente.
A settembre sarò di nuovo in vacanza e ritornerò sicuramente a cena

12/07/2025: Short motorcycle vacation in Calabria. On our way back from a ride in the Aspromonte Mountains, we stopped at this charming restaurant. Friendly service, excellent food, and a family atmosphere...all top notch. Highly recommended 😍😍😍

24/06/2025: Great place. Fast, delicious and not expensive. Close to the beach, so you can take your pizza and eat it at sunset or sit in the privacy of the place and enjoy the wonderful taste. The service is smiling and helpful. Despite the lack of knowledge of Italian, we communicated without a problem. I recommend! Thank you and I will definitely come back 🇮🇹🍕🍕🍕

01/07/2025: I arrived at their place by chance, around lunchtime, and I was very pleasantly surprised, starting from the recommendation of the dishes, their delicious taste, the generous portions, the prompt and kind service, and the generosity of the hosts who offered us other dishes than the ones ordered for snacks. A delight from the moment we entered until we left❤️

15/07/2025: A very welcoming and delicious restaurant in the historic center of Tropea! The waiters Viola and Antoni were very helpful and professional. The manager was also special, helping us choose the right dishes, paying special attention to my mother's celiac disease. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

11/06/2025: On Saturday 7th June, returning from Sicily to Rome, we asked IA for a place to have lunch. Being close to Altomonte, they recommended Zio Pierino. We called before leaving the motorway because we thought they had already closed the kitchen, but instead they waited for our arrival. A festive welcome and excellent hospitality. The tasty home cooking. It seemed like we had returned to the 70s. A must-visit when passing through Altomonte
