Delicious food, recommend the fileja with nduja!! Lovely out door seating calm atmosphere and music with great decent priced cocktails given the area. Really reasonable prices for food as well.

A dinner celebrating tradition with a fresh twist. An excellent appetizer featuring local produce, and two truly delicious first courses; I highly recommend the tagliolini with anchovies. But pride of place goes to the cheesecake with onion jam, absolutely not to be missed!

The cheesecake is amazing... it beats the Pizzo truffle (which isn't bad). The friendly girl who served us had already anticipated it. The Calabrian appetizer and the tagliolini with anchovies were excellent. Bravo, bravo!

08/06/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Hops Steak House, and the experience was truly excellent. The meat was top-quality, cooked to perfection, and served with great care. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it ideal for both a dinner with friends and a special evening. The staff is friendly, professional, and always available to recommend the best dishes. The selection of beers and side dishes is also excellent. You can sense their attention to the quality of the ingredients and their passion for the food. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good meat. I'll definitely be back!
06/06/2026: A unique experience. I usually come here for the sandwich, which is something special, but tonight I wanted to try something different. The meat was a real treat! Ristorante Pizzeria Porta Nova

30/05/2026: We had an amazing experience at Porta Nova in Tropea. The pizza was absolutely delicious—one of the best we have had in Italy. The food is truly authentic Italian, prepared with great care and high-quality ingredients. The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and spoke excellent English, which made us feel very welcome. It is rare to find a place in Tropea that offers such tasty food at such reasonable prices. The quality-to-price ratio is exceptional. We highly recommend Porta Nova to anyone visiting Tropea and looking for authentic Italian cuisine, great pizza, and excellent service. We will definitely return on our next visit!
