A lovely place to come with family or your partner! We had a fantastic meal and the service was excellent; friendly and attentive to our requests. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place if you're in Tropea and want to eat good pasta or a hearty meal.

Fantastic location, unforgettable food, and incredibly friendly staff. We shared the antipasti platter, grilled tuna, homemade pasta with shrimp, roasted potatoes, and sweet and sour onions... oh yes, and to finish, tiramisu... absolutely divine.

I visited the restaurant. It was a great experience. The food was 10/10. The bar was 10/10, especially the cocktails. The service was incredible, 10/10. The best choice in Tropea.

We had lunch at Albin's Restaurant and it was a truly wonderful experience. The place is very quiet and has a truly Italian atmosphere, almost like an old movie: those places where you imagine seeing people cruising the streets on Vespas, calmly enjoying the day. We tried the potato-crusted sea bream, the peppered mussels, and the paccheri with swordfish and eggplant. Everything was delicious, but a special mention goes to the mussels, truly excellent and perfectly prepared. Beyond the quality of the food, what struck us was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The waitress who served us was simply exceptional: attentive, helpful, and always smiling, making lunch even more enjoyable. A place I definitely recommend for those seeking good food, tranquility, and a truly attentive welcome.

18/06/2026: The cottages are beautiful, comfortable, and feature an amazing terrace with peace and greenery. The breakfast was outstanding, with great attention to freshness, quality, and variety. Every morning offered a wide selection of delicious products. What truly made the experience special was the exceptionally cozy cottage with everything we needed. As a landscape architect, I was especially impressed by the grounds. The resort feels like a botanical and Mediterranean arboretum, with a rich variety of plants and beautifully designed outdoor spaces. An inspiring place for anyone who appreciates gardens and nature. Highly recommended, and we would gladly return.
23/05/2026: Lovely place. Great staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, responsive, and patient with my lack of Italian. Beautifully well maintained landscaping. Property has nice views throughout and is filled with the pleasant sounds of many birds. Fast internet. Easy and plentiful parking. Comfortable bedding. I typically carry my own pillow when I travel, but didn't need to use it here. Their pillows were perfect. Good breakfast (included in stay). It's the same breakfast every day, but with a variety of options. For dinner from the restaurant, I enjoyed the ribeye, lamb, and hot chocolate. Wasn't crazy about the pasta dish. Didn't get around to trying the spa. It would be nice if there was the option to schedule a spa visit with the front desk. Easy booking, check-in, and check-out. I contacted them via email and they provided a few quotes and promptly answered all my questions. They accept payment via card. Discounted rate offered for longer stays. Pets allowed in cottages. Would be nice if they had sliding mesh door as an option for when the weather was mild out so the door/window could be open without allowing bugs to enter. Short drive to Pizzo. Adding only because I saw another person complain about this, not because I had any issue - they host weddings so you'll likely hear fireworks on a Friday or Saturday night. If you're someone likely to be bothered by this, try requesting a cottage further from the main venue. The sound wasn't disturbing from my location. Honestly, I see this as a benefit. Free fireworks show.

Ristorante San Domenico

03/07/2026: An evening you'll never forget. The sunset view from San Domenico is simply breathtaking—one of those views that makes you pause for a moment before ordering, because you realize you're looking at something rare. That alone would be worth the visit. But the cuisine is no exception: the gnocchi with gurnard, snapper, strawberries, and chili pepper are an extraordinary dish—creativity, technique, and Calabrian terroir blend impeccably. Sweet, seafood, spicy. A balance few manage to achieve. The service is top-notch, attentive, and never intrusive. Special mention to Maria Concetta, whose professionalism and warmth made the evening even more enjoyable—the kind of welcome that makes you feel like a guest, not a customer. San Domenico plays in Serie A. One of the best restaurants on the Calabrian coast, without a doubt.
27/06/2026: San Domenico is in a league of its own. The cuisine is fantastic, the service more than perfect. The location is a dream.
