11/08/2025: SANIZZO The Professor's warm welcome, the true soul of the place, makes you feel at home, creating a light and pleasant atmosphere. The food is extraordinary, truly SANIZZO, hence the title of this review. Perfectly prepared. A special mention for the Professor's paccheri bomba.

10/08/2025: A small bistro in Camigliatello run by the Falcone family, with ties to the town's well-known butcher shop. Typical local products, mostly homemade, are of good quality but not always up to the asking price. For dinner, the excellent cured meats and cheese appetizer with creamy ricotta, and the less than stellar grilled caciocavallo burger, are excellent. The prices are very high (for example, a glass of wine costs €8-9), which is difficult to justify given the direct provenance of the ingredients. One negative note about the service: one of the management members, who also takes orders, is a bit too pushy when it comes to choosing what to order. He tries to be friendly, but ends up intimidating and confusing both the customers and the waitress, who otherwise works hard. However, the professionalism of one of the owners, who stepped in to restore calm and ensure the dinner continues in a more relaxed manner, is commendable.

18/08/2025: Absolutely excellent restaurant in every way. The kindness and attentiveness of the waiters, the quality and deliciousness of the food served so quickly. A 10 out of 10 also goes to the chef for everything we ate, which was a true delight. We will definitely be back, and thank you again for the fantastic experience.

17/08/2025: A rustic yet refined restaurant, it allows you to savor stockfish in every possible way. We also tried the non-stockfish menu, which was very tasty, with just the right amount of fish and flavor. A special mention goes to the sliced meat, which, although not one of the specialties, is excellent! The restaurant was busy, but the service was efficient. Just be careful with dessert; the ricotta tart contains some alcohol, but it's not listed on the dessert menu. The prices are also absolutely reasonable.

16/08/2025: I went there for the pizza and I have to say it was delicious and made with quality ingredients. The service was excellent and friendly. I'm attaching a photo. I'll be back. I'm updating my review. They were really good. Yesterday, August 15th, it wasn't easy, but the staff was up to par. Everything was good, the quality was good, we were happy with the entertainment and the food.

12/08/2025: The structure appears simple on the outside but pleasantly surprising inside. The arches and walls lend a welcoming atmosphere. Kudos to the staff, who immediately proved attentive and courteous without ever being intrusive. There was nothing to complain about with the menu or the quality of the raw materials used to prepare the excellent dishes we enjoyed. The owner demonstrated uncommon competence and professionalism. Finally, the bill we paid was fair and proportionate to what we ordered. Excellent value for money. Recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful two-hour meal. Gianni Antonacci

12/08/2025: Such a wonderful place with truly fantastic, typical Calabrian food. Everything is superb, fresh, and delicious. The dishes change daily. There's something for everyone, and all at very reasonable prices. All the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We visited several times during our four-week vacation and would definitely come back. Thank you for this wonderful experience (a reminder of my husband's childhood, when he always loved traditional cooking from his dear aunts). We received this recommendation from the staff at Tabaccheria Foti in Reggio Calabria. Thank you very much for that. We send our warmest greetings from Germany to the south of Italy.

29/07/2025: Stasera ho deciso di trovare il gelato migliore sul lungomare di Schiavonea, leggo le diverse recensioni e decido di assaggiare tre gelati nelle tre gelaterie considerate le migliori in zona e devo dire che questa è LA MIGLIORE! Peccato che il “Croccante al rum” mi ha rovinato il tiramisù che non vedevo l’ora di assaggiare 😔 Ho sbagliato io a prendere questo gusto prima di chiedere di assaggiarlo. “Biscotto”, “Cannolo” e “Piatacchio” buonissimi. Gusti cremosi e molto molto gustosi, se riesco a ripassarci prima di partire vorrei riprendere tiramisù e assaggiare millefoglie. Il cono di 4 gusti è una cialda croccante e molto buona😋 Il commesso GENTILISSIMO oltre che molto carino😅💙❤️
