22/03/2024: Il posto perfetto per un pranzo in totale relax. La location è straordinaria, ma il cibo di più! Merita assolutamente una visita almeno una volta al mese, perché il menu cambia e si adatta ai prodotti di stagione.

05/08/2024: The da Maurizio restaurant represents the right quality/price compromise. The tourist menu is made up of rich fish-based dishes. For 15 euros you can eat the first course (choice of seafood risotto or a first course that varies daily), the second course (choice of mixed fried fish or grilled fish) and the side dish (choice of French fries or mixed salad). The service is fast and efficient. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner with family but also with friends. The room is spacious and well ventilated.

31/07/2024: Good morning, I was very disappointed with my recent experience at your establishment. As soon as I arrived, they sat me down and asked me if we wanted some water and we kindly asked for a bottle. Less than a minute after this request the boy arrived telling us if we were ready to order, but we still didn't have the menu in hand... I would say a little unacceptable. After about 5 minutes he returned to the table asking us again if we were ready to order, we were asked to order and then if necessary place another order afterwards, so we ordered the little we had decided and asked us twice more if we wanted some. 'waterfall. But still no trace of the bottle of water... it arrived at the table about 10 minutes after ordering. After about 35/40 minutes from the order, the dish we requested arrived, REALLY GOOD SUSHI... During dinner time I listened to the same song "you're a woman" by bad boys blue 4 times, I would say quite a bit annoying... Service needs improvement except the kindness of the guys... Good food, quality/price.

18/07/2024: Unforgettable holiday It was a magnificent experience starting from the reservation made by telephone with the director Pandolfi, who was very available to accommodate any of our requests. We were greeted by the very friendly and professional receptionist Loredana. A special thanks to the staff composed of the maître Franco (unique and inimitable) always smiling, as well as all the waiters (Giovanni, Leonardo, Anna and Greta) who have always proven to be very professional and humble despite their young age. A special mention to the bartenders Paolo and Luigi and the lifeguard Gianbattista who, in addition to having done their job excellently, kept us entertained all week with their kindness. Paolo in particular proved to be very knowledgeable and attentive to the cleaning and management of the bar, carrying out his task perfectly. The shuttle service was also very efficient, managed very carefully by Mr. Vincenzo, a kind-hearted and very helpful person. The structure is very well looked after and maintained daily by Andrea. The entertainment led by Giacomo made the evenings and entertainment on the beach very pleasant, making us laugh out loud. Carola from the entertainment staff also proved to be an extremely sweet and sensitive girl, especially towards children. Exceptional cuisine that delighted us throughout our stay, directed by the excellent chef, as well as one of the owners. Last but not least mention goes to the extreme humility and courtesy of the owners Battista, Ombretta and their children, all tireless workers. The Calabrian evening and the excursion to Diamante were spectacular. We will return without a doubt, hoping we haven't forgotten anyone.

13/07/2024: I am currently at the hotel for a holiday, starting with the owners, reception staff, waiters led by Mr. Franco, to the floor staff who are all superb. The food is top, cleanliness top, courtesy and kindness super top. I recommend the hotel for a super holiday

10/08/2024: Excellent place, courteous wait staff, delicious pizza, clean and excellent quality of ingredients. I recommend it. Only note, on evenings where there are many customers, hire more waiter staff, too many hours of waiting even for a bottle of water. I hope you organize yourselves better, otherwise people will run away, because they pay to have their own satisfaction.

Abbiamo chiesto effettivamente un po in maniera "insistente" ma con modi molto EDUCATI e SIMPATICI un tavolo x 7, non abbiamo chiesto di mangiare SUBITO, ma anche disposti a ritornare più tardi. La signora che lavorava li ad un certo punto ci risponde con modi e toni poco professionali. Onestamente non ho nessuna voglia di tornare in questo posto, perché ci sono modi e modi per rispondere anche quando il cliente insiste un po e ripeto che insiste in modi EDUCATI. Siamo attualmente in un ottimo ristorante che ci ha accolti come un cliente merita. Buona continuazione e buon lavoro

25/08/2024: Siamo arrivati senza una prenotazione e abbiamo chiesto gentilmente un tavolo x7, erano le 21:45 circa, ci ha risposto un ragazzo cordialmente dicendo a primo impatto che non c’era possibilità di un tavolo disponibile, vedendo alcuni tavoli da sparecchiare abbiamo “insistito” in maniera gentile e scherzosa se potevamo riuscire ad avere un posto, visto la bellezza e l’ambiente che lo circondava, subito dopo è arrivata una signora non altrettanto cordiale dicendo che non c’era possibilità, abbiamo risposto se potevamo ripassare tra un po’ ma ha subito tagliato la parola diventando sgarbata e non professionale, a questo punto siamo andati via. Che peccato, potevamo ritornare l’indomani con una prenotazione in anticipo, ma non ritorneremo di sicuro. Adesso ci troviamo in un ottimo ristorante che ci accolto calorosamente. Buona continuazione.

13/08/2024: DIVINE. SUPERLATIVE EXPERIENCE. Defining it "Place of the heart" is an understatement. I get it, to delight myself, at least 1/2 times a year. To welcome us and welcome you you will always find the elegance, courtesy and smile of the SUPERLATIVE Eleonora who makes all customers, new and "old", feel at home. A restaurant where the best is the fish which has nothing to envy to the tops of the various Michelin guides that we find online. Over the years, the prickly pear has confirmed itself as synonymous with excellence. A real journey into taste, into the flavors of Calabria, of its fresh catch pampered by the scent of saltiness that is there, a stone's throw from this "house" of taste. The prickly pear does not deserve comments, it just deserves to be tasted and tried. You won't regret it.

11/08/2024: We were here in May after the Madonna di Manipulia festival, and it was super delicious. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. The food is fresh and depends on the fishing, the nice thing is the view of the Ionian Sea while eating.

18/08/2024: If we have to find a flaw it is only the difficulty of booking and having to respect the shifts. This denotes the fact that we are in front of a place where many want to dine. We are not talking about simple pizzas. We are faced with an experience of noteworthy flavours. I will try to go back in less crowded weeks to be able to enjoy other flavors that I definitely want to try. Congratulations guys.

17/08/2024: Nothing to say about the food, but it's a shame about the service and the policy of the "monarchical" pizza chef who, even in a situation such as a (well-specified) joy, refused to make a change to the menu. I wouldn't recommend it. And I will certainly never return!

02/09/2024: Premetto da subito che l’importante affluenza di gente che caratterizzava il ristorante mi ha lasciato intendere che la qualità delle materie prime fosse fuori discussione. Io e il mio compagno iniziamo con l ordinare un misto di pesce come antipasto per poi continuare con un tonno alla griglia e dei gamberoni; era tutto veramente buonissimo; il personale di sala eccellente e ci ha subito fatto sentire parte di una bella e grande famiglia. Prossima volta proveremo il pesce al sale, purtroppo finito ma dall’ aspetto succoso e ricco.

01/09/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in famiglia qui in vacanza e siamo rimasti molto più che soddisfatti. Posizione al centro di tropea nei suoi vicoli. Il menù offre ampia scelta, noi abbiamo optato per 2 antipasti, 3 primi e 2 secondi più il dolce. Antipasti buoni, i primi ben cucinati e saporiti, i secondi davvero eccezionali ( trancio di tonno con cipolle di tropea) il tonno, cotto benissimo, era fresco e si sentiva. Servizio cordiale e attento, il titolare simpatico e alla mano. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
