02/09/2025: A place that claims to offer refined cuisine can't have such glaring shortcomings: 1 - limited choice for those with food intolerances 2 - lack of empathy from the dining room manager, who also happens to be the chef's wife. Even though we mentioned when booking that someone was gluten and lactose intolerant, we were told it wasn't a problem. Result? From the entire menu, only one appetizer and one main course were available due to intolerances, and there was no option whatsoever. The (to be kind) unsympathetic dining room manager told us there was nothing else to offer beyond what was on the menu. A package of gluten-free pasta is available even in trattorias in 2025. What we ordered was still good. A SHAME ABOUT THE FALL IN STYLE

28/08/2025: Top-notch cuisine. I dined at this restaurant, which I wasn't familiar with, in a small, beautiful village I wasn't familiar with. I wasn't expecting to find high-quality dishes outside of the usual local offerings. The cod flan was amazing, as was the excellent sea bass. And to finish, the lemon ice cream with citron was truly remarkable. Very satisfied; it was truly a pleasure from the first bite. Highly recommended!

16/08/2025: Martina & Pier Paolo Our wedding was simply perfect, and much of the credit goes to the stunning location and delicious food at San Bernardo Ricevimenti. We couldn't have made a better choice: the outdoor ceremony was fabulous, with attention to every detail and the bride and groom's requests catered to. The romantic atmosphere enchanted all our guests. The food was all delicious, from the rich and varied aperitif to the exquisite main courses, prepared with meticulous attention to detail. The dessert buffet delighted each of our guests, with a wide selection. The wedding cake was perfect, special, and unique. Many of our guests complimented us on the quality and abundance of the food. The organization was impeccable, as was the service. Care and attention were paid to us, our needs, and the timing of the various moments of our day. Our requests were listened to and carefully fulfilled. A special thank you goes to Chef Gustavo. We absolutely recommend this splendid location in the heart of the Sila Mountains!

07/09/2025: Over rated tourist trap. long wait and below average no flavor oily food. Despite having lots of employees they are disorganized and chaotic. Wait in line to be seated, hard to hear the names when called and when we finally got a table, took forever to get our order, in fact, newly seated customers got their order before us (similar order). Cuoppo is oily and have no flavor, not even salt. They charge coperto per person €1. Lots of other restaurants offer the same dishes with better flavor and prices.

18/08/2025: Beautiful location... you can practically dine right by the sea. The peppered mussels were excellent and plentiful, and the grilled tuna was delicious; it melted in your mouth. It's not cheap, but the price is fair for the quality. Highly recommended.

25/06/2025: Evening with colleagues, we had dinner with a large appetizer, the cured meats were excellent. We continued with a first course of paccheri with sauce and guanciale, which however was not very good. To conclude with fruit and cream ice cream that tasted of nothing. Nice atmosphere and music.

18/08/2025: Small, discovered by word of mouth, but truly excellent rustici, in fact it's always busy. I order ahead to avoid long lines: they ask for the pick-up time and everything is hot and ready to eat. Always very kind and friendly despite the number of customers. Never change!

15/09/2025: What a disappointment. I've been coming here every year for the past six years to eat raw crab and pasta. I've always asked for it to be cleaned in the kitchen, which has always been done. This year, I was given pasta with sauce and crab on the side, without claws or anything else. I asked for it to be cleaned, and the ashtray brought it back with broken claws, saying it was buckets of junk. Too bad the entire body without claws was inedible. I also pointed this out on the bill, where the replies weren't any better. In short, I won't be coming back. However, I found out from Mimmo later that I'd been snubbing him for years.

Beautiful olive trees surround a very well-maintained pool, and then, the star ingredient: the kindness of the owners and staff, who make you feel welcomed and pampered... and finally, the truly delicious and authentic food! A precious pearl that brings the essence of Calabria to those who, like us, return home!
