14/01/2026: There were three of us for dinner. The appetizer was €20; the waiter insisted it was for one person, but it was actually three large dishes, and two people could easily eat. We ordered capra in umido (roasted goat), which was well-prepared, but be careful of the bone fragments left after the cook had cut it. We also ordered stufato di maialino (roasted pork) and carne de pastore (shepherd's meat). The portions of these three dishes were for one person and not enough to share. The house wine was excellent; it was definitely worth trying. Everything was very homemade and delicious. For dessert, I recommend a tartuffo di pizzo (chicken tart) per person: the best I've ever had. I'll be back.

13/01/2026: An experience I'll never repeat again, as far as I'm concerned: we ordered two appetizers for a whopping €20 each (the full menu with appetizer and first course), but only one arrived, and we still paid for two. One of the two appetizers (a stroncatura with anchovies) had smelly anchovies, meaning they were old or spoiled, and one of us was left without a first course. We reported this and were told that perhaps the flavor of the anchovies was "too strong," and that's just a matter of taste. No, the fish had actually gone bad. Even though we reported the problem and left the dish because it was imaginable, we were still charged the full amount. We definitely won't be returning.

14/10/2025: Good food at good prices. Friendly service; we've been there twice. I recommend asking about the pistachio cheesecake—the best dessert we had during our stay in Calabria.

09/10/2025: We ate here! Good service, good food. One of the few restaurants in this town where you can eat well and affordably. They serve pizza, pasta, fish, paninis, hamburgers, and much more. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

30/12/2025: We loved the small town of Morano Calabro and eating here was the cherry on the cake. They care very much about what they do and the service is professional. I would stay that the food tries to be new french cuisine that is now old fashioned but overall I highly recommend this restaurant. I don’t think you’ll find anywhere as good in the town and I highly recommend a visit to Morano Calabro and a walk to the top.

29/01/2026: I stumbled upon the restaurant by chance, while traveling and reading the reviews. We were hospitable and knowledgeable; we had a business lunch featuring seafood. Gourmet dishes at fairly reasonable prices, nothing over the top. The food was good.

09/01/2026: Beautiful place... I enjoyed the excellent food. A traditional restaurant in the heart of Civita, it's practically the first restaurant on the right as you enter the village. Beautiful location and friendly owners. I'll definitely be back.

21/12/2025: We had lunch at Kamastra with friends and had a wonderful meal, especially their specialty, goat... phenomenal. The head waiter, Maria, is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always attentive to detail. We'll be back.

14/12/2025: Our daughter Giorgia chose this restaurant on TripAdvisor to spend a beautiful Immaculate Conception day with her grandparents at this fantastic restaurant. Many thanks to the owner, who welcomed us with a smile, elegance, and such kindness. It was a relaxing day featuring an excellent lunch, aperitif, sorbet, and exquisite liqueur offered by the super owner and the lovely lady who also welcomed us with a smile. The background music provided by the talented violinist during lunch was refined and much appreciated, and to continue the show outside the restaurant, a talented singer and guitarist performed, while we sat on the sofas with a fantastic sea view. Heartfelt compliments to the owner and all the staff; it shows that they don't just do it for work, but for true passion.

27/11/2025: We arrived without a reservation and the place was completely packed, but the owner went out of his way to find us a table. While we waited, he even offered us a glass of bubbly, a very kind gesture that we greatly appreciated. The lunch was excellent: delicious dishes and fast, attentive service, always with a smile. While we waited for a spectacular sunset over the sea, they treated us to a complimentary dessert and liqueur. Top quality in a splendid location overlooking the sea. Highly recommended!!

11/11/2025: A little over two months after our "I do," we're still receiving compliments and praise from family and friends for the perfect success of our wedding... Much of this is undoubtedly thanks to San Bernardo Ricevimenti. The venue, immersed in the pristine nature of the Sila Mountains, is simply enchanting. In addition to the professional and impeccable service, the dishes, prepared with dedication and care, using fresh, high-quality, local ingredients, were truly exceptional! We highly recommend them for weddings or other ceremonies. P.S. A special, sincere, and affectionate thank you goes to the owner, Mr. Gustavo Congi, who, in addition to being a formidable chef, is an exceptional person; serious and honest, with a heart as big as his size!! 😁😁😁 Marco & Michela

19/10/2025: A Perfect Banquet of Flavor and Elegance. ​I had the pleasure of celebrating a special occasion, my nephew's graduation party, with a banquet prepared by Executive Chef Gustavo Congi and his daughter, Lady Chef Denisia Congi. ​Despite the close friendship and respect that bind me to the Congi family, I cannot help but express my sincere appreciation. Their cuisine was simply sublime. ​The dishes showcase the finest local ingredients, which, crafted with professionalism and love, are transformed into creations of the highest quality. Each course was presented with elegance and refinement. The risotto with crispy green beans, pumpkin cream, and grilled bacon was particularly noteworthy. ​A dish that celebrates autumn and the richness of mountain flavors. The rice was cooked to perfection, with the grain al dente, enclosing the heart of starch. Chefs Gustavo and Denisia succeeded in creating a vibrant contrast, masterfully balancing creaminess and crunchiness. Aesthetically, it was a unique culinary canvas of brilliant and lively contrasts. ​In short, the long-standing professionalism and experience of Executive Chef Gustavo blended beautifully with the innovative and creative touch of Lady Chef Denisia. ​In short: a perfect banquet that expertly combined elegance, flavor, and refinement. 04/12/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. Everything was truly delicious and cooked with skill and love. The ingredients were of the highest quality. A cured meat appetizer unlike anything you've found anywhere else. The pasta with mushrooms was plentiful, delicious, and especially "with mushrooms." The wood-fired pork shank was sublime, soft and juicy. The homemade desserts are also worth it. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. We'll be back!

23/12/2025: Great experience and fabulous pizza! A super light Neapolitan pizza, it's like biting into a cloud. We went for dinner for two, ordered potatoes with porcini mushrooms, bruschetta, two pizzas, and two beers, and paid only €39. Very fair prices, excellent food, a welcoming and quiet atmosphere, and excellent service. The staff were attentive and very kind. I'll definitely be back as soon as I can!

07/12/2025: Excellent experience, highly recommended for anyone near Camigliatello who's looking for a pizzeria and more. The menu is extensive, with over two pages of pizzas to suit all tastes and several restaurant-style dishes. The staff was friendly and always available to answer any questions we had during service. The pizza dough is thin on the base, with crusts of just the right size and even filled for some specialty pizza toppings.
