31/07/2024: Pizzeria well managed by the owners. Good pizza, good raw material. Prices in line with today's times. The only thing is maybe a little too tight in my opinion, but nothing unacceptable. I will definitely go back.

05/06/2024: Homemade food, but the atmosphere must be understood, it's like a tavern. There are teasing and exchanges of jokes between the owner and waiters with the customers. Basically you have to take the joke. It is not a place for those who suffer from celiac disease and various intolerances, let's be clear "not that the owner doesn't come to your aid" but you have to suffer a bit of criticism, perhaps a little severe, but I invite you not to be offended and enjoy the good food .

22/07/2024: Passeggiando per i vicoli di Pizzo ci siamo imbattuti in questa piccola gelateria di cui abbiamo apprezzato l'ottima qualità di gelato e granita insieme alla grande gentilezza dei proprietari, che ci hanno mostrato la preparazione del tartufo realizzato sul momento, rendendo l'esperienza ancora più caratteristica.

20/07/2024: I chose the ice cream with wild berries, a sorbet made with just fruits, water and sugar. It was very good. My wife chose the Tartufo ice cream, which was also excellent, I tried it. Aldo, one of the managing directors, emphasized that he only uses natural ingredients. He also explained that the name of the gelateria is dedicated to his late sister Tiziana. The sister is certainly proud of her brother's work.

21/08/2024: We ate in this really nice and romantic place. The staff were very kind and courteous. We took a parmigiana and caramelized onions. Very very good, just a little salt was missing in the parmigiana. Then we had the very good filey with seafood, well cooked and with good quality products, here too a pinch of extra salt wouldn't have hurt. Finally, a smoked risotto which was a nice little surprise: a risotto with a cream of local pecorino cheese and perfectly crisped bacon (it exploded in the mouth, pulverising on the palate), a truly well-constructed dish. We left happy and satisfied.

18/08/2024: We had dinner last night in this enchanting place that smells of tradition, but at the same time knows how to keep up with the times. On a Saturday evening in August, full of tourists, we had to wait a bit but it was worth it. Cave appetizer x 2 (really delicious sweet and sour red onions) Eggplant parmigiana and Primo di Grotta, cooked really well, flavors that are enhanced together with the typical Calabrian fresh pasta. Impeccable service, very good. Honest account. We really had a great time, super recommended for anyone on holiday in Tropea.

The beach is simply fantastic, equipped with gazebos with comfortable mattresses that offer perfect shelter for spending long sunny days. The patio, with a breathtaking view of the Aeolian Islands, is the ideal place to have lunch, dinner or enjoy an aperitif. The cocktails are prepared with unparalleled skill, using local spirits that tell the story and flavors of the area. This venue, the BBB, is a true oasis of niche and relaxation, where every detail is taken care of with extreme attention. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to satisfy every need with a smile. In summary, "A Paradise" it is the best as a beach club and place for aperitifs in Pizzo. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to live an authentic and unforgettable experience in a corner of Mediterranean paradise.

04/08/2024: Truly top! My boyfriend and I came to this place on the advice of a friend, it was the first time for us... Let's start from the assumption that it is a beautiful location, super well-kept and very modern. We took the umbrella and the two sunbeds to the beach and also decided to have lunch at the restaurant. The lido is super equipped, there is also a covered shower that runs on coins (free for lido customers), a fountain just to remove the sand from your legs before climbing in, a table under the umbrella and a coat hanger. The sea was spectacular, flat and crystal clear. (In this area it is always flat because of the T's in the sea). When we went up to the restaurant we found super friendly and helpful staff who satisfied our requests and made us feel at home. Delicious and super tasty dishes. The prices match the quality of what we ate. The fish was fresh, the frying super light and the clams large and tasty. We will be back with pleasure, recommended!

01/08/2024: Nice restaurant in Monte Poro, where you can appreciate all the typical products of the hinterland, starting with Spilinga nduja. It's all very good, served by attentive and courteous staff, with an honorable mention for the tasting starter (very plentiful) and the grilled meats. Very honest prices and digestive made by them offered at the end of the meal.

29/06/2024: Locale in cui si trova una cucina eccezionale! Abbiamo provato degli gnocchi al nero di seppie con cipster di zucchine e gamberetti che sapevano di mare. Poi un baccalà alla cosentina buonissimo.

23/08/2024: It is no longer the historic Mary ice cream maker but the ice cream is still good, one of the best I've tried. Unfortunately there is less turnout than before. Among the best flavors are white rice and black rice.

18/08/2024: Esperienza negativa! Abbiamo ordinato 6 pizze e un piatto di pennette per mia figlia. Le pizze sono arrivate in pochi minuti... Le pennette al pomodoro mai arrivate! Ho chiesto 4 volte al personale di sala e ogni volta la risposta era " sono in cottura" dopo 1ora d'attesa e la risposta alterata da parte del ragazzo che si era occupato della comanda siamo andati via. Voglio precisare che quando il ragazzo ha preso la comanda il piatto di pennette è stata la nostra prima richiesta proprio perché la bimba aveva fame. Purtroppo digiuna è entrata e digiuna è uscita!

12/08/2024: We contacted this restaurant for lunch and the owner was very helpful and polite in explaining the type of cuisine they do and the dishes available during the day. Dishes all freshly prepared, quality and freshness of the products (many of their own production) indisputable. The attention to detail, both in preparation and service, given to my pregnant wife was a pampering, one might think it is obvious but it is not always implemented. The first course with sausage ragù and scamorza fondue was wonderful. Absolutely worth a try if you are in the area, excellent value for money. We will definitely be back
