01/07/2025: You mainly go to Villa San Giovanni to embark for Sicily, but you could, indeed you should, also go to enjoy the seafood cuisine of the Vecchio Porto restaurant. Elegant and comfortable environment, impeccable and very professional service. Gourmet menu respectful of the place and interesting wine list. Spectacular swordfish crudités.

25/06/2025: We had a delicious meal like we haven't had in a long time. Exceptional dishes that also tasted absolutely delicious. The service left nothing to be desired, and Italian music was a bonus. Sure, the food isn't exactly cheap, but the prices are absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

05/05/2025: I went to this tavern for Easter lunch. The place is very rustic and not entirely comfortable but the food is quality. I must say that the various dishes I tasted, although simple, were of a good standard, tasty and well cooked. Some discordances on the desserts and on the service which had some errors. Overall I am satisfied. To try outside the holidays

28/05/2025: The place is very central and looks good. Tables outside and inside. I had an ice cream for 2.50 which was very good.

24/05/2025: This place is a reference for hospitality. No menu, no frills. Cesare will provide the suggestions of the day and you do good to follow. Food IMHO is not spectacular, but genuine. Bottle of home made wine is already on the table. The local Amaro is the cherry on top. You don‘t ask for the price and will be positively surprised on the decency of the final bill. Gracie Mille!

Very high quality food, cooked delicately and tasty, from appetizers, to first courses and grills. The creamy sorbet was also excellent. 02/06/2025: Sandwiches also gluten-free fragrant and with the possibility of choosing almost all the options on the menu (there are really so many!). I also enjoyed French fries and an excellent beer, those who are celiac know well that fried foods are rare. The service is impeccable. The owner made sure that everything was to my liking and showed a real passion for offering gluten-free options of the highest quality, the sandwiches are in fact the result of many attempts to find the perfect recipe! Not only is it gluten-free, it is delicious!

01/06/2025: Ho finalmente trovato un pub per gustare panini senza glutine fragranti e gustosi, che non fanno rimpiangere quelli glutinosi e con possibilità di scegliere quasi tutte le opzioni del menù (sono davvero tante!). Ho gustato anche patatine fritte e un'ottima birra, chi è celiaco sa bene che i fritti sono cosa rara. Il servizio è stato impeccabile. Il proprietario si è assicurato che tutto fosse di mio gradimento e ha dimostrato una vera passione per offrire opzioni senza glutine di altissima qualità, i panini mi ha spiegato che sono il frutto di molti tentativi, ma devo dire che hanno trovato la ricetta perfetta! Non solo è senza glutine, ma è anche buonissimo! Io tornerò senz'altro, ma consiglio questo pub a tutti, celiaci e non.

06/07/2025: The restaurant pizzeria L'Antico Torchio is located in Castrovillari, in the province of Cosenza, in Calabria. The restaurant is large, very well furnished and enjoys an excellent location, with private parking. The menu is very varied, the service is excellent, the staff is super attentive and the prices are good. It is definitely worth it!

20/06/2025: Very kind owners, fast service, friendly waiters. Price adequate for the food and location. An excellent place also for ceremonies. If it were not 730 km from my home I would return often. Warm greetings to all the staff.
