27/06/2025: We found this restaurant thanks to the bus driver. We ate divinely raw fish, oysters, hot and cold seafood appetizers and a nice fried calamari and anchovies, all delicious, compliments to the owner and thanks for the truffle offered.

18/06/2025: Excellent appetizers based on potato croquettes, stockfish with dried tomatoes and stuffed eggplants. Baked amberjack, cod au gratin and fabulous grilled fish. Definitely worth returning to.

06/07/2025: I stayed with my family and friends in this property for 3 days during which we were able to enjoy a delicious and abundant dinner, excellent breakfasts with homemade sweet products and taste aperitifs by the pool. Very spacious, clean and brand new rooms. Beautiful location, immersed in nature and surrounded by goats, sheep and peacocks. The kindness and professionalism of Giancarlo, the owner, adds another positive note to this wonderful place.

04/07/2025: A beautiful family-run restaurant with over 70 years of history! We had a wonderful experience at Scilla — it was our first time, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Giuseppe, the son of the family business, served us with such kindness and professionalism. Five-star service all the way! The restaurant is very kid-friendly, and everything on the menu is delicious, especially the filetto allo scoglio, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the amazing experience!

03/07/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The food was poorly seasoned, and the fish was completely dry. It was the worst meal we've had in two weeks in Calabria. We prefer al dente, but the pasta from the primo was almost raw and barely chewable. The service was friendly. However, my husband had barely put down his fork and I was still eating when the plate was taken away.

From what I had been told I expected a little more, but the Pizza is acceptable. Then obviously pizza is subjective. Definitely worth trying, also nice to eat outside in the summer on the lawn 👍

I started the dinner with a Calabrian appetizer that tickled my taste buds: fresh and well-matched ingredients, a true hymn to the gastronomic tradition of Calabria. And I cannot fail to mention the meatballs: a real delight, soft and tasty, an absolute must-try. The real star of the evening was the ‘Boscaiola’ pizza. This delicacy, prepared with the highest quality ingredients, exceeded all my expectations with its rich and enveloping flavor. An excellent choice for those who love strong flavors! Another aspect that makes “Le Magnolie” unique is its outdoor garden. Perfectly maintained, it is the ideal place to enjoy an outdoor meal, especially on warm summer evenings. The combination of good food and fresh air creates an enchanting atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to enjoy delicious dishes in a pleasant and welcoming environment, Pizzeria “Le Magnolie” is undoubtedly a winning choice. I will not fail to return to taste other delicacies from their menu!

08/04/2025: The menu offers very tasty appetizers (the pulled pork meatballs are absolutely worth trying!), first courses, second courses of quality meat with very generous portions, huge sandwiches, which can also be assembled to your liking. Friendly and professional service, a slightly cramped and not very airy environment if you go up to the upper mezzanine but, all in all, livable.

17/07/2025: We recently visit Tropea with my family, as we just bought a new condominium and we had plenty of time to explore the local restaurants. One of my sons, told us that Picanha 2 0 had the best reviews as a steakhouse so we went to try it out and we all (5 of us) being you can say, experts steak eaters, agreed that was one of the best tomahawk steaks, beef tartar, pastas we had tasted in Tropea. The food had and extra touch of flavors that made it exquisite! The atmosphere was perfect to enjoy dinner, the piano music was delightful with the perfect volume to enjoy of table conversation. We got to meet Maestro Cece (pianist) and also the owner who told us his world food adventures before returning to Tropea and opening this upscale steakhouse that without doubt, is the best! The price was reasonable and the service professional and friendly.

15/07/2025: The meat was delicious, flavorful, and top-quality. The cured meat appetizers were also excellent. The service, however, was a bit lacking in enthusiasm; fortunately, the friendly owner stopped by and we chatted for a bit... that's the right spirit. There was only one wine available by the glass: a little more choice would have been appreciated. Prices were in line with the quality. A positive experience.
