Besides enjoying delicious dishes made with delicious and authentic ingredients, we relaxed, and the children were able to play outside on the playground equipment and see the farm's animals. I recommend it for Sunday family lunches.

It was a perfect day in every way, despite the terrible weather outside... which was about to snow! The food was the real star: rarely is every single course at an event so carefully crafted. From appetizers to dessert, everything was truly delicious and prepared with quality ingredients, earning sincere compliments from all our guests. A heartfelt thank you to the staff, who were exceptionally kind and helpful, making us feel at home and managing every moment of the party with utmost professionalism. If you're looking for a place where the beauty of the location combines with excellent cuisine for your special moments, this is the place. We'll definitely be back! 19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

24/04/2026: We returned with my family because we had an excellent culinary experience, and they never disappoint. A must-visit very close to the Sanctuary of Natuzza Evolo. Everything was delicious. The owner, a welcoming and very kind gentleman, is one of the few who still manages to preserve typical Calabrian dishes and traditions. The appetizer was plentiful, and the homemade fileja was truly spectacular. The appetizer and main course were accompanied by plenty of wine and bread, all excellent ingredients, and the price was fair at less than €30 per person. We'll be returning often.

07/09/2025: The dough is light, well-leavened, and cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, from the tomatoes to the mozzarella, and even the most unusual toppings. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The service is also fast.

09/04/2026: The perfect place to spend an evening pampered by excellent food, great drinks, a warm atmosphere, and service from those who know how to treat customers with genuine hospitality and warmth. We ordered the Apericena mari e monti (sea and mountain aperitif), where every bite (a generous amount, I'd say) was truly excellent, from fish to meat. It was accompanied by a gin and tonic, featuring a selection of gins and tonics that are not at all easy or predictable to find elsewhere—DELIGHTFUL. The background music and atmosphere of the place made you truly appreciate the moment. The icing on the cake? Valeria, who delighted us with impeccable and friendly service, truly makes all the difference for an evening of fun and relaxation. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

02/05/2026: A unique and sophisticated experience. Impeccable service. I just arrived in Calabria and I'm already very happy with the local cuisine. This Osteria is definitely worth a visit! I will definitely return. I ate a panna cotta fit for the gods, very unique with a sweet paprika powder topping, sensational!

04/03/2026: We ate for four at a charming restaurant with a fireplace. The starters were good. The seafood spaghetti wasn't well seasoned, there were only three mussels, and the prawns, like the calamari, were peeled and frozen. The price was very high, disproportionate to the quality and quantity.
