02/01/2026: Beautiful location and very kind owner. We ate an excellent tagliatella with porcini mushrooms, an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, house wine, water, coffee, €35. We will be back!

23/12/2025: Today, December 23, 2025, I had lunch at the LA BOTTE restaurant. The flavors were unique and delicious, just like they used to be. Antonio is very accommodating. It was like having lunch with family. A heartfelt thank you to people like Antonio who keep the service for tourists alive.

04/12/2025: I don't even recommend going in!! The service was awful, to say the least. The food was awful: cold, hard, and definitely cooked days before. The only good things were the drinks and the (empty) sandwich. I went home fasting.

06/01/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I entered La Villeggiante da Ciccino with my girlfriend and her family and immediately knew it wouldn't be just any dinner. You don't come here for fashion or curiosity, but for the certainty of eating well in a true family trattoria where tradition isn't a memory but a daily practice. The atmosphere is just right: authentic, well-prepared without ostentation. You sit down and feel like a guest, not a customer. Around me, families, young people, elderly people, children—a clear sign that this is a place lived by the city, not built for show. We started with a carefully selected platter of cured meats and cheeses. Tasty yet balanced capicollo. Creamy and clean sheep's milk ricotta. Smoked scamorza with real character. Nothing is put there by chance; everything has a meaning. The dish that definitely convinced me was the paccheri with porcini mushrooms and Calabrian sausage. The pasta was clearly of high quality, perfectly cooked. The sauce was balanced, never heavy. The sausage has character but isn't overpowering. The porcini mushrooms are treated with care. Recognizable, fragrant, and present with respect It's a dish that works because the person preparing it knows exactly what they're doing and, above all, what not to do. The other dishes at the table followed the same line. Simple and centered scialatielli with porcini mushrooms. Mixed grill cooked to perfection, without burning or compromising. A silent technique that needs no explanation. The service is fast, human, and precise. The tables are well spaced. We talk, we eat, and we take our time. The quality-price ratio is honest, a rare thing these days. You pay and feel it was fair. This isn't a trattoria for show. It's a place you go to when you want to remember what it means to eat with dignity. For those who live in Reggio Calabria, it's a must. For those coming from out of town, it's a lesson. 04/01/2026: Good food, but the quality has dropped compared to a few years ago. Still plentiful, but not as attentive as it once was. Very slow service, despite the limited number of tables. Little attention to the customer, as I had asked for my mother's birthday if it would be possible to play the "Happy Birthday" song for her 60th birthday. My request was obviously granted. Several times, requests were made to turn on the music during the cake service, but the owner, busy chatting with friends, preferred to turn it on for the 49th birthday celebration of his friend at the table next to ours, and only after my family and I were leaving.

07/01/2026: Every time I return to town, I come here to eat. Everything is super good. Pizzas, first courses, second courses, and the fantastic desserts. Welcoming and quaint location. I recommend trying their cuisine at least once. 👍

04/01/2026: My boyfriend and I had lunch at Rifugio La Principessa, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful: she let us try truffles harvested that same day and welcomed us with great simplicity and attentiveness. The service is excellent, and the place is very quiet and surrounded by nature. All the products are locally sourced and produced by them, and you can sense the passion and authenticity of these simple, genuine people. The location is exceptional, easily accessible, and has ample parking. Their social media page is also interesting, where you can see all the activities they organize. Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: Excellent pastry at reasonable prices, consistently friendly service, and a central location: these are the ingredients that have led to the well-deserved success of Bar Roma, one of the city center's longest-running establishments. Like many others, I recommend the Fiocco di Neve, their specialty, but whatever you choose, you can't go wrong.

24/12/2025: I had a babà cake with sour cream yesterday for my birthday. It's a shame this slip-up at Bar Roma. The cake was obviously old, even though it had been ordered.

25/10/2025: We're regulars every Saturday, and the pinsa is better every time. The quality is very high at truly fair prices. All the staff are truly friendly, starting with Francesco, the owner, the very sweet Ivana, and Francesco's wonderful father, who plays a key role in our lives with his delicious cherry tomatoes picked from his garden!

08/11/2025: A beautiful place located a few km from Corigliano Calabro at 900 meters above sea level. The manager Pasquale is a very helpful guy, excellent cuisine with quality local products, for those who want to spend a relaxing weekend or a week's holiday where there is a beautiful swimming pool, highly recommended.
