23/06/2024: We went for lunch today. Quality, flavours, service etc. they are exceptional enough to not find the right adjectives to describe the supreme level of satisfaction. We promised to return and we will. Compliments !!!

25/04/2024: We went to this place for lunch. The arduous road to reach it was worth it: fabulous location, surrounded by greenery with a fabulous view. The super helpful and welcoming staff immediately put us at ease and throughout the lunch they always took care to check that everything was going well. Very good food with generous portions, and the presence of a fixed menu with also vegetarian alternatives is very important. Absolutely worth trying

13/08/2024: A restaurant yet at the top of all searches when you go to Picerno. The setting of this picturesque little village is delightful to the eye. BUT BIG BIG disappointment with this restaurant which is a well-established tourist scam. When we arrived (2 adults, three children), we were very kindly welcomed by a little grandmother accompanied by her little daughter, family atmosphere, we had the impression of being immersed in authentic Italy. The delight ends there. NO MENU CARD, NO PRICES INDICATED!!! We ordered a drink (water and a small pitcher of wine) and ONE plate of antipasti to start (cold meats, cheeses), a plate arrived then 5 others with small delicacies not ordered but we said to ourselves: Good “Italian generosity ”! Well no!: €70 billed! Then we ask for the dishes: THREE CHOICES: beef, chicken cutlets, tomato pasta. Still no prices given but we felt confident and the atmosphere was friendly. We had a meat tagliere for €18, a small dish of tomato pasta for €12 and two dishes of ridiculously tiny chicken escalopes for €18! I'll let you add it up... in addition to the price of the service 12€50. At the time of payment the card machine was not working! Well let’s see…so cash payment required! After having visited all of Italy and being Italian myself, I have visited some incredibly good quality-price restaurants and this one is abnormally overrated on the internet. The food is not really bad but average for such a high price we could have had a much better restaurant. TO AVOID

13/08/2024: On a Monday in August, after not having found any restaurants in Satriano, we moved to this place, the thing that stands out most is the homely atmosphere, perhaps because it is family run, everyone is very kind, we did not rely on to the menu, but we asked the cook directly. What can I say, we didn't take photos of the dishes because they were so inviting that we polished off everything in just a few seconds!! I recommend anyone who is nearby to drop by!

01/07/2024: Ci siamo trovati molto bene! La struttura è bella e accogliente, il pranzo è stato gustoso e genuino e il Sig. Pinuccio che si è preso cura di noi è stato professionale e molto ospitale! Da ripetere!

26/06/2024: Beautiful pizzas. Lovely service and we appreciated the hospitality ensuring we got what we needed despite not speaking fluent Italian. The views are phenomenal, could sit here all night. The chilli oil is fresh and insanely good!

23/04/2024: It's the second time I've gone to dine in this place and all the inconveniences of the first have been confirmed so they will never see me again. 99% frozen foods and probably which have not even maintained the cold chain. Dark and cold place. Meat sometimes charred twice out of two. Stale fries, perhaps refried and old oil because all of them are very dark, including the fries. Abnormal quantities of sauces and sauces covering the food. Honestly, nothing is saved except the price, but obviously it is in line with the quality. Twice I went with a group and twice some of us had diarrhea a few hours later. Evidently the reviews are all fake or from friends and relatives. I can't think that everyone is stupid enough to eat terribly and be happy. It was like being in an episode of nightmare kitchens. If you are in the area, go to the Barile pub, at least eat without getting dysentery.

10/08/2024: If you want to eat well in Maratea... This is the right place! Exquisite food... Very generous portions...! Kind and prepared staff... Above all....... Elena the owner, a very polite, kind and professional person... Unfortunately in today's world it is not at all easy to find people who do this delicate job with passion and courtesy like she. Thank you!

Prezzo più che economico considerato la posizione e Maratea, non proprio una città con prezzi bassi. Tornerò ancora, sono stato molto bene. Camerieri, pizzaioli e cuochi gentilissimi

08/08/2024: Siamo stati a cena con la mia compagna per la vicinanza all’albergo e le buone recensioni. Posto rustico ma carino , personale cordiale e disponibile , menù ridotto ma composto da tutti piatti caserecci e locali. Mangiato arrosto di carne davvero buono e questa ciambotta che altro non è che una caponata lucana, squisita. Alla fine ci hanno omaggiato anche di un paio di fette di salame di cioccolata, molto apprezzato. Prezzo onesto. Consigliato Torneremo volentieri.

12/08/2024: Good, but....we have been there twice in the last few days, I noticed that they increased the prices before the August holiday, for example the Aperol Spritz increased by €1 within 4 days (€6) a scoop of ice cream costs €2.70 which I find exaggerated, taste average. The choice of pastries is varied and they also bring various appetizers along with the aperitif.

18/08/2024: Nice local restaurant experience, useful for regaining energy after the long ups and downs encountered in the alleys of the historic center. Friendly and helpful staff, panoramic view, Lucanian timing... worth trying!

15/07/2024: It was one of my all-time favorite pizzerias, an hour's drive from my hometown. But alas, from today the vote is absolutely negative. After booking for a birthday three days in advance, not only did we arrive and it was closed, you didn't bother to call the customer well in advance or leave a notice abroad to inform customers of the sudden closure. Truly unspeakable behavior that will force me to never return. And I say this with deep regret.

09/06/2024: Normal food, nothing exceptional. Even fake flowers at the table... and we are on a farm 🤦 Unprofessional service. While serving the first course, the waitress spilled the tomato sauce on the tablecloth, on the napkin and partly on the sleeve of my blouse 😞 It was an end-of-year class lunch between students and teachers. The kids had requested a menu and they found another one... Mollicati strascinati with bran peppers instead they were served fusilli with tomato... The most disconcerting event occurred at the time of payment. The guys had booked for 21 people but due to unforeseen reasons 3 people were unable to be present. The owner demanded payment for the total people booked by increasing the price of each participant by 5 euros, indicating the purchase of food and the preparation of lunch as an excuse. Perhaps we could have agreed with his reasoning if he had also brought the lunch portions prepared for those absent to the table.... But taking advantage like this doesn't seem like the correct attitude to me. Place strongly not recommended.

08/06/2024: Unfortunately, the beauty of the place and the good food are sullied by a short-sighted, greedy and unscrupulous management: 22 booked, 18 showed up and paid the full amount for 22. Happened today with some high school kids.
