11/01/2025: We used the restaurant, together with the whole family, during the Christmas holidays. This review therefore focuses on the restaurant only (NOT the hotel). Very inconvenient place to reach, over fussy. We arrived at 1.30pm (just before the set time for lunch) and the room was very cold, they had just turned on the heaters (but they didn't have access to the radiators even if they were present in the room). The cold continued throughout lunch, even some people always had lunch with their jackets on. I consider it unacceptable to organize a holiday lunch and have the room be cold. Moving on to the food, the menu was pre-established and was inspired by Trentino cuisine, really rubbish (not for Trentino cuisine but for how they cooked). Embarrassing portions, not even a child would have eaten them. The dumplings were pre-cooked and frozen, to me personally when they were brought to me they were hot yes on the outside but internally they were still FROZEN, FROZEN I'm not joking, this thing should NEVER happen. Another example was the cannelloni, these too were pre-cooked and only reheated and the portion was two measly cannelloni per head. Dolcusi in the end and really speaking of dessert we were expecting a homemade dessert, in reality they brought us panettone and pandoro, which for goodness sake also fit but bring 2 slices of pandore and 2 slices of panettone bought at the supermarket for 16 people (dividing it only in pieces) is neither respectful nor professional. To make sure we didn't miss out on anything, the bitters were served in small glasses (the 2cm high ones) and the coffee was burnt. All this also paid an exorbitant amount per person between 40 and 50 per head. The only thing I regret is not having taken photos to prove it all, as it was a day of meeting with the family I didn't think I had to write a review, in the end I decided to do it because something like this can't fail to be commented on. The thing that hurt me the most was the fact that the (overpaid) lunch was offered to the whole family by my grandparents as a Christmas present.

28/03/2025: I usually write good reviews, but unfortunately this time it is impossible for me: the bar is very dirty, hygiene standards clearly not followed; I went in the afternoon to have a coffee, but I found a terrible environment: drunk people intent on continuing to drink alcohol, especially the owner and staff, in fact I wondered if it was accessible to the public at that time, unfortunately it was. In addition to this, there are also annoying people (always the owner and staff) who do not think twice about making sexual jokes and very annoying to women, including myself. Abhorrent experience, unfortunately it is not possible to select zero stars, but I will definitely not go back (I do not want to risk contracting something due to the dirt) and I do not recommend it especially to women.

06/10/2024: The owners are really approachable and know how to satisfy customers' needs! They were also able to show us a really excellent camper parking area (without it we wouldn't have known where to go). We will definitely be back! Abundant platters of cured meats and cheeses and super quality raw materials. The Lucanian beer and all the end-of-meal elixirs are excellent!! See you soon!!

I add, referring to those who don't like it or those who get up and leave, with the excuse of having gone to the wrong place: go to other places that suit you, it's better! EXCELLENT walled octopus!!! !! I confirm everything, returned on September 24, EVERYTHING EXCELLENT!

27/08/2024: Une carte uniquement en Italien, une traduction en anglais très approximative et par orale donc pas facile de commander dans ces conditions. En entrée tartare de poisson (facturé 28€) = poisson cru servi sans aucue préaparaion ni épices seulement 3 grains de poivre qui se battent en duel. Ensuite les tagliatelles au citron et gambas etaient tout à fait insipide et les gambas étaient crus même pas marinéees ! J'ajoute une carte des vins aux prix astronoiques : nous avons pris chacun un verre de vin rosé et une bouteille d'eau. Pas de dessert et une addition de 128€ !!! Véritable erreur de casting du guide michelin dont nous sommes fidèles utilisateurs.

28/11/2024: Eating Emilio's ice cream is a real experience. From classics to soft ice cream, every flavor is incredible, but the classic Crema di Emilio is unsurpassed! The venue is also very beautiful and the aesthetics are taken care of at 360 degrees, great attention to detail shines through. We also tried some of the products on sale, and the Emilio selection jams are truly delicious.

28/11/2024: Emilio's ice cream is definitely one of the best ice creams I have ever eaten. Emilio, a visionary owner, despite his shyness, manages to convey his passion for artisanal ice cream making and attention to the workmanship and choice of raw materials which are all of the highest quality! It's no coincidence that Niko Romito chose it for his bombshell!

02/01/2025: Dico a te cuoco….o presunto tale: quando decidi di sperimentare un menu di mare rigorosamente surgelato per la prima volta in una zona di montagna, almeno abbi l’intelligenza di vedere come si preparano i piatti che purtroppo hai deciso di somministrarci…. Non c’è stato un elemento mangiabile in tutto il menù del Cenone del 31 costato ben 70 euro : antipasto di insalata di mare presa direttamente dalla busta sottovuoto con polipo che puzzava già da lontano….chicca della serata : Lasagna ai frutti di mare talmente rattrappiti che erano scomparsi nel lago di besciamella in cui erano immersi….. inutile dire che era immangiabile oltre che inguardabile….. a seguire filetto di orata rigorosamente da bustone surgelato , gratinato con due dita di panatura….. giusto per nascondere il colore scuro della carne… Unico piatto mangiabile L antipasto di terra fatto con i prodotti del territorio . Quindi se hai sempre fatto piatti di terra anche se dalle recensioni con un po’ di difficoltà , continua a fare quelli o almeno acquista delle materie prime decenti e non da intossicazioni… ma probabilmente anche se credo l attività sia decennale appena si sono staccati dal peperone crusco e dalla salsiccia e funghi… che avremmo sicuramente gradito di più, e’ calato il buio nella mente del titolare prima e del cuoco dopo … chiamiamolo così per semplicità. Detto ciò , un consiglio… tornate a fare quello che sapete fare e cioè da mangiare, anche se con piatti scontati da pausa pranzo e i cenoni di Capodanno lasciateli a chi sa anche cucinare oltre che preparare da mangiare.

18/11/2024: Pessima cucina. Davvero un peccato avere un posto d'oro in mano e non saperlo gestire. 30 minuti per un piatto di pasta acquoso e insipido e all'internoeravamosì e no in 9!!! Anche il baccalà con i peperoni cruschi, molto lontani dall'essere un piatto buono e gustoso. Avevo un gran ricordo di questo ristorante, ma, giuro, non ci tornerò mai più!!!

26/12/2024: I called over 10 days ago to order a cake for Christmas and birthday. They seemed very helpful, asking me how I wanted the decorations etc. The day arrived when I was supposed to go and collect it, I called and they clearly made it clear to me that the cake had not been made and that they would make it on the spot. Obviously it turned out that the cake had been arranged at the last minute. It's really a shame because the cake was also good but very little professionalism from the staff
