We discovered this place by chance thanks to the ad on the main street. The owner is a very kind and helpful gentleman, who knows his products well and carefully explained each dish to us. The dishes we chose were good and the prices were average. Overall, a positive experience. Recommended!

A platter (for one person), nduja and beans, half a liter of wine, 1.5 liters of water, and a fig salami dessert for €44.
A quiet atmosphere, a tavern-like aesthetic, and friendly, enthusiastic service. Highly recommended!

La Merenderia is a place I would recommend to anyone visiting Maratea for its authenticity. Michele is a fantastic host, capable of creating a convivial and relaxing atmosphere among the tables of his restaurant, which are set in an absolutely characteristic setting. The selection of products he brings to the table is undoubtedly the result of research and knowledge of the local area. Everything is excellent, from the wonderful cured meats to the cheeses served with matching jams and accompanied by a nice house Aglianico. It's also a perfect place for our children, who, as little foodies, greatly appreciated the offerings! Congratulations!

In the historic center of Maratea, a charming delicatessen that serves food. We had an excellent platter, truly delicious, with Lucanian beer. The platter cost €32. Everything was delicious, authentic, and plentiful. The owner is very kind and friendly. Recommended.

A dive into Lucanian tradition. The owners are very kind and courteous. The quality of the dishes, refined and rooted in tradition, is truly excellent. Furthermore, Michele pleasantly entertained us with stories and anecdotes about life in the village: we loved it and will definitely be back.
