09/08/2025: Very negative experience for me, we are numbers for them but not refugees. Everything you see in the photos did not match the reservation, the lady did not show up on arrival but only by telephone, attic, so low that I banged my head continuously, small window, very narrow bathroom without window and without ventilator and what's more it was not specified to me that breakfast would be outside at the bar far away saying, only a cappuccino and croissant, I had to make the coffee myself, truly mean, I do not recommend it to anyone.

02/08/2025: I stay here every year for the holidays and it's always a pleasure to return. The B&B is equipped with every comfort and is strategically located right in Maratea's main square. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very welcoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is also highly recommended (excellent pizza).

01/06/2025: More than a hotel it seemed like a disco. I advise you, before going to stay overnight, if they have parties banquets or other that same evening otherwise do not sleep. I had to call the reception twice both times after midnight because the music was too loud, and to top it off around 2 am fireworks. Terrible service, poor breakfast.

17/05/2025: A truly fantastic hotel. It's located on the main road, so you can quickly reach the nearby cultural highlights: Melfi, Acerenza, Potenza, Rionera in Vulture, Abbazia San Michele, Venosa, Muro Lucano, Picerno, ... Very friendly, very nice staff at reception and in the restaurant. They are helpful with any questions. I felt completely at home during my three-day stay. Thanks a million, best regards Josef

26/07/2025: After a long three-hour motorcycle ride, this pub at the Monticchio Lakes was the perfect stop for a rejuvenating lunch. We were greeted with great warmth and kindness by a truly friendly host. The view of the lake is simply enchanting: relaxing and evocative, ideal for enjoying a lunch surrounded by nature. The traditional food is delicious and authentic, perfect for those seeking genuine local flavors. Recommended for those who want to eat well in a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature!

09/07/2025: If I could give them 0 stars, I would! Terrible service. At first, they seemed helpful, and they even had me send the decoration via WhatsApp. I opened the cake and discovered it was completely different! Different flavors, different decoration. I messaged the owners on WhatsApp and they didn't even apologize. It's a shame, it used to be a really great pastry shop, I don't know what happened.

01/04/2025: Sono cliente Dolcegel dal oltre 20 anni e da allora non ho mai smesso di "addolcire" gli eventi memorabili, e non solo, della mia vita e della mia famiglia con i prodotti di questa sopraffine pasticceria, dove mignon, torte, zeppole, dessert, panettoni, colombe, chiacchiere, uova di cioccolato, pastiere e chi più ne ha più ne metta, arricchiscono la produzione artigianale giornaliera per soddisfare le richieste di tutti i clienti che, come me, la hanno scelta, e non siamo pochi.

24/08/2025: I dreamed of a typical sandwich, perhaps with a touch of Lucanian tradition and a friendly smile. Instead, I found a masterpiece of coldness, seasoned with rudeness and stuffed with condescendingness. The owners? A textbook duo: zero empathy, courtesy on sale (sold out), and plenty of rudeness. The sandwich looked like it came from a refrigerator on strike, but at least it was consistent with the atmosphere: cold, hasty, hostile. A place like this should only be visited to test your own zen limits. But if you prefer to eat in peace... follow your instincts and cross the street.

28/08/2025: Terrible service thanks to the staff you choose. We've been customers for a long time and have always had a great experience thanks to the other employees. But this morning at checkout, we had to wait a half-hour for the shift employee to come and settle our bill, making my partner late for work. Despite this—and I hope you have cameras to monitor it—she displayed extreme rudeness and even threatened to charge us extra. I had to call the police to explain what was happening, and then she stopped raising her voice and made us pay what we owed. It's painful to deal with rude and incompetent people. So if you don't want to lose customers, you'd better choose only those who can serve the public. Someone this rude certainly isn't capable of it!

24/05/2025: Well, the building itself needs outside some work as it doesn't look very trustfully. But inside it's really good. The rooms are really large, comfortably and the staff are very helpful. If I ever will be back I would check in again.
