24/05/2025: Well, the building itself needs outside some work as it doesn't look very trustfully. But inside it's really good. The rooms are really large, comfortably and the staff are very helpful. If I ever will be back I would check in again.

04/05/2025: I had lunch in this place during the May 1st long weekend and I was a little disappointed. It should be noted that the location is very nice, close to the port and this gives it value, just as the staff was very kind, however it was not coordinated at all and the waiting times were biblical. We sat down at 1.20pm and finished eating at 4pm. Overall, the dishes were good and tasty, but they were small and small in size. 18 euros for fried calamari of which there were only 5 rings on the plate is inconceivable. In the end we got up tired and hungry due to the exhausting wait and the truly limited dishes. Having resolved these small inconveniences, I would say that it would be a truly ideal place. I hope this review helps you improve, because with that location you could make a difference. Good job everyone.

04/05/2025: May 2nd, a Saturday. After reaching the restaurant and asking if there were any tables available (there were 3 of us), and receiving a positive response, we sat down and waited to order. When we arrived there was only one table occupied before ours and so we thought we would have to wait a few minutes. Instead, the waiter (we don't know why) went to take orders first from other customers who had sat down after us, responding to our complaints with a curt "I have to follow the order of arrival". An order of his own, evidently... after half an hour of useless waiting we got up and looked for another restaurant where we received a very different welcome. I don't feel like recommending Scialuppa 25 for the service. Absolutely not.

25/05/2025: Locanda accogliente ! Abbiamo degustato gli antipasti, davvero ottimi, 10 e lode per i cruschi!!! Buonissimi anche gli strascinati! Lo consiglio a chiunque si trovi di passaggio a Castelmezzano

01/01/2025: Nos encantó este lugar! Tuvimos un gran desayuno aquí. Cuenta con mesas exteriores que en invierno están protegidas por una gran estructura cúbica en metal y vidrio. En este bar se puede tomar un buen café, excelentes cruasanes y dulces. Aquí también hay paquetes de regalo disponibles especialmente para vinos, que se muestran a la vista y clasificados por origen y región de Italia. El servicio es muy amable, los precios son asequibles y hay una gran variedad de bebidas diferentes y cosas para comer (por ejemplo, para el desayuno). Recomendado.

10/05/2025: Excellent experience for Easter lunch. All very good, in particular the ravioli with cheese, ricotta and strips of meat. I recommend it if you find yourself in Rionero in Vulture! The owners are very kind and available to accommodate other requests. The only flaw, but I think it was the particularity of the party and the quantity of people present in the restaurant, the wait between one course and another.

06/05/2025: Sehr gute und ehrliche Küche aus typischen und lokalen Produkten. Bodenständige Hausmannskost hervorragend zubereitet. Sympathisches und zuvorkommendes Personal, allen voran mit einem absoluten Profi als Kellner, der immer Herr der Lage war,auch bei gut besuchtem Lokal. Eine Speisekarte gibt es nicht, aber auf Wünsche wird eingegangen und man wird gut beraten. Es kann auch sein, dass man zusätzlich vom Chef persönlich mit einer Kleinigkeit zum Probieren überrascht wird 🤤

It's located on the main road, so you can quickly reach the nearby cultural highlights: Melfi, Acerenza, Potenza, Rionera in Vulture, Abbazia San Michele, Venosa, Muro Lucano, Picerno, ... Very friendly, very nice staff at reception and in the restaurant. They are helpful with any questions. I felt completely at home during my three-day stay. Thanks a million, best regards Josef

20/11/2024: Abbiamo assaggiato i cibi DOP di Rotonda (melanzana rossa e fagioli bianchi) e abbiamo trascorso piacevolmente la cena, soprattutto grazie alla gentilezza e disponibilità dello chef e del personale di sala, pronti a soddisfare ogni nostra curiosità e richiesta. Da provare assolutamente!

25/10/2024: Siamo arrivati, in coppia, all’apertura, intorno alle 19:30. Siamo stati accolti con garbo e gentilezza e abbiamo degustato i vini (sia rosso che bianco) prodotti e imbottigliati dalla casa con un abbondante antipasto di salumi, formaggi, verdure e ortaggi tipici. Per primo abbiamo optato per degli ottimi maccheroncini al guanciale in colatura di caciocavallo, per secondo una tagliata di manzo con porcini e contorno di patate al forno. Ottimo rapporto qualita’/prezzo. Consigliato a chi va alla ricerca delle prelibatezze del luogo.

01/04/2025: Sono cliente Dolcegel dal oltre 20 anni e da allora non ho mai smesso di "addolcire" gli eventi memorabili, e non solo, della mia vita e della mia famiglia con i prodotti di questa sopraffine pasticceria, dove mignon, torte, zeppole, dessert, panettoni, colombe, chiacchiere, uova di cioccolato, pastiere e chi più ne ha più ne metta, arricchiscono la produzione artigianale giornaliera per soddisfare le richieste di tutti i clienti che, come me, la hanno scelta, e non siamo pochi.

26/12/2024: I called over 10 days ago to order a cake for Christmas and birthday. They seemed very helpful, asking me how I wanted the decorations etc. The day arrived when I was supposed to go and collect it, I called and they clearly made it clear to me that the cake had not been made and that they would make it on the spot. Obviously it turned out that the cake had been arranged at the last minute. It's really a shame because the cake was also good but very little professionalism from the staff
