01/03/2026: Went for dinner on Saturday night. Friendly staff. Even though the room was full, we had to wait a while, but in my opinion it was worth it. Recommended. I hope to return soon.

16/02/2026: A decent and affordable restaurant and pizzeria with a wide menu, perfect for families and groups with diverse tastes. It's not particularly convenient to get there.
20/11/2025: A very nice restaurant and pizzeria. A very interesting place on the gentle slope of the volcano near Melfi. Atmospheric interior with a fireplace. Very good food and friendly service. I recommend it.

13/10/2025: A pleasant surprise in the heart of Maratea's historic center. The restaurant is small and welcoming, perfect for an intimate lunch or a sociable dinner. Excellent food, with traditional Lucanian dishes presented in an original and exceptional way. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

09/05/2026: We've been going to Sakura for years now and always find the same courtesy. The people are kind, helpful, smiling, and friendly. A few years ago, they even surprisingly wrote "Happy Birthday" on my son's mochi because it was his birthday. We're loyal. Plus, the food is really good, excellent in quality and variety.
Highly recommended.

06/05/2026: We stopped on our way back from Palmenti and were greeted warmly. The owner understood that we were tourists and suggested delicious local dishes. It was truly an excellent lunch; we'll have a hard time paying for it, but we highly recommend it to you.

24/10/2025: A modest restaurant, but with delicious food and that authentic home-cooked flavor. Ideal for enjoying while taking in the charming views of the village. The owners' service was warm and very friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

12/05/2026: First time for work. Dinner. Monday in May. Donato & Co. are nice people, no need to know them. Very basic but honest place. Montanare mortadella, burrata, and pistachio, grilled aubergines and zucchini, 1/2 liter of local still white wine (without post-acidity), coffee. €20.

21/09/2025: I've read other comments and can't explain them:
- the owner was welcoming and friendly,
- she warned us that the appetizers would be very generous. If you want to try more, I recommend ordering them, but for a few less people than the actual number.
Everything was really good and fresh.
We'll be back to try other things; highly recommended.

04/04/2026: I often go to this place for pizza, but I have to say that they've been a bit pricey lately. I hope they get back on track.
13/03/2026: Let me cut right to the point, this is downright theft. We were charged 1,5 euros extra for "coperto" which is classic in Italy, but not when it's stipulated neither on the menu, nor the bill (especially when there's no service or even cutlery)!
PS: Don't let the chirping cuckoo clock distract you, it's all part of his setup...

06/04/2026: A bit disorganized with the servings, the wait was a bit long between courses, and the portions, in my opinion, were a bit small. Some dishes were overpriced, and the staff forgot about dishes ordered, meaning everyone couldn't eat at the same time.
