27/07/2025: The rooms were clean, welcoming, and equipped with every comfort. The staff was wonderful, attentive to every need, but above all, they had a humanity that few others possess. We ate really well at the Vulturis restaurant for a fair price. We will definitely be back.

13/10/2025: The restaurant, located near the stream, is a bit messy and not welcoming from the outside. The interior is very warm but dated. The owners are welcoming and friendly, making you feel at ease. The menu is very homey but generous, with a special feature being the generous serving of prosciutto. The first courses are good, and the roast is well done; you can enjoy everything, but it takes a bit of effort. Recommended for a lovely day out and a lunch from another era, excellent value.

16/09/2025: Unfortunately I went to sushi to eat only rice, in the nigiri and rolls there was really not much salmon, I recommend going to eat sushi somewhere else

06/09/2025: Nice place, excellent trattoria-style food. The owner is too grumpy and almost annoyed by the customers. If he doesn't want to work anymore, he should retire.

05/11/2025: Time has stood still here since the 1980s. They could try calling Cannavacciolo with Cucine da incubo to turn things around. The place is completely neglected, and they don't take care of it. We order a mixed roast, which is served despite being charred... everything else is off the table.

24/10/2025: The house antipasto was excellent and very generous, with cured meats and cheeses, along with the chef's hot dishes. The first courses were also tasty and plentiful. The location is simple, and the waiter, Maurizio, was very friendly and helpful. I'll be back!

21/09/2025: I had the "Cheese Burger 48" with French fries and a DOP pinsa. I had a Leffe Ambree to drink. I found the burger and bun a bit dry, the bacon was very good, and the fries were neither good nor bad. The real plus was the mayonnaise, which in my opinion was homemade and truly excellent. As for the pinsa, what can I say? The dough was really light and crispy, and you could tell from a mile away that it's been left to rise for a long time, making it very digestible. The tomato and mozzarella were good but not exceptional, and overall a bit salty. The beer selection was limited, but there's something for everyone. The final bill for six people was €140, so in line with the average for other places in the capital. (If you overdo it with the drinks and order desserts and sweets, the price goes up significantly.) Regarding the location, I really appreciated the bathroom, which was meticulously clean. However, I found the Christmas lights on the wall on September 20th a bit out of place. The service was quite quick and efficient. Overall, it wasn't my best dining experience, but it certainly wasn't bad. I might have to come back to try something else. See you next time.

06/09/2025: Nice place, great outdoor seating, but better table lighting is needed. Contrary to what I've read in various reviews, the prices aren't low, but they're average; the meat is good, and the sharing plates are good. The options are lacking, however: there's gluten-free, but no lactose-free options; a shame in 2025, because the buffalo mozzarella alone (which isn't lactose-free, but is low in lactose) isn't a sufficient option for those with lactose intolerances.

02/12/2025: There's no worse place to take your family in Melfi. The quality of the products is poor and the staff are very rude, especially the owner's wife.

08/11/2025: A truly disappointing experience! While the dishes arrived promptly at other tables, some of our orders never arrived. We waited, asked several times, but nothing—dishes just disappeared! It's absurd to pay for such disorganized service.

09/08/2025: Very negative experience for me, we are numbers for them but not refugees. Everything you see in the photos did not match the reservation, the lady did not show up on arrival but only by telephone, attic, so low that I banged my head continuously, small window, very narrow bathroom without window and without ventilator and what's more it was not specified to me that breakfast would be outside at the bar far away saying, only a cappuccino and croissant, I had to make the coffee myself, truly mean, I do not recommend it to anyone.

02/08/2025: I stay here every year for the holidays and it's always a pleasure to return. The B&B is equipped with every comfort and is strategically located right in Maratea's main square. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very welcoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is also highly recommended (excellent pizza).

26/07/2025: After a long three-hour motorcycle ride, this pub at the Monticchio Lakes was the perfect stop for a rejuvenating lunch. We were greeted with great warmth and kindness by a truly friendly host. The view of the lake is simply enchanting: relaxing and evocative, ideal for enjoying a lunch surrounded by nature. The traditional food is delicious and authentic, perfect for those seeking genuine local flavors. Recommended for those who want to eat well in a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature!

12/08/2025: Despite the restaurant's excellent location, my experience was negative. A long wait for two simple piadinas—nothing special. The staff was inattentive and uninteresting.

14/07/2025: The only bar open for lunch on a Monday, but unfortunately it wasn't up to par. We waited a long time despite the few customers. The service was minimal: no tablecloth, few napkins, etc. The piadina was broken, poorly presented, and looked like one of those packaged ones that had been opened for a long time. The sandwich was unremarkable, and the beer was tasteless, almost watered down. The menu didn't list prices, and we ended up paying €26, including an unjustified cover charge (sandwich - €12; packaged piadina - €6, small and battered; small water and draft beer + no cover charge). Considering we're in Venosa, the bill is truly excessive for the quality. Disappointed.

01/06/2025: More than a hotel it seemed like a disco. I advise you, before going to stay overnight, if they have parties banquets or other that same evening otherwise do not sleep. I had to call the reception twice both times after midnight because the music was too loud, and to top it off around 2 am fireworks. Terrible service, poor breakfast.

17/05/2025: A truly fantastic hotel. It's located on the main road, so you can quickly reach the nearby cultural highlights: Melfi, Acerenza, Potenza, Rionera in Vulture, Abbazia San Michele, Venosa, Muro Lucano, Picerno, ... Very friendly, very nice staff at reception and in the restaurant. They are helpful with any questions. I felt completely at home during my three-day stay. Thanks a million, best regards Josef
