07/11/2023: Gluten free and lactose free a cut above the others. The normal pizza is good but a little expensive. Very good and very helpful.

14/07/2024: Very nice bar, more so in the warm period where they can put some outside tables, as it's a bit cramped inside. However, friendly staff and products with standard quality.

30/06/2024: Spectacular coffee, I had a special cappuccino more than once and an ice cream with a truly amazing salted caramel flavour! The prices are not too high and the service is excellent with bartenders ready to take orders, especially the younger curly girl, who was always helpful. The tables are clean but the bathroom leaves something to be desired. Despite this flaw it is an excellent meeting place.

23/06/2024: Well located hotel, small but welcoming and clean rooms, terrace view over the area. Recommended for short periods. Comfortable and private restaurant inside the hotel, appreciable cuisine with good products, kind staff, in particular Domenico, a person who really pays attention to his work and is cheerful, a point of reference. Also highly recommended for those visiting the town and using the velodrome, reachable on foot.

18/06/2024: Comfortable and convenient hotel in the center of Oppido Lucano, with various attractions reachable in a short time: many choose it to go and visit Matera. Comfortable and clean rooms with a nice terrace overlooking the surrounding area. The restaurant deserves a special mention: excellent dishes cooked very well, a nice list of local wines and truly honest prices. Perhaps the breakfast could be improved a little, to be done at the internal bar counter. Courteous staff and cleanliness everywhere. At the back of the hotel there is a beautiful garden and a section of the restaurant dedicated to ceremonies. Large free parking.

08/05/2024: I stumbled upon this place, I took a takeaway croissant and as soon as I got to work I was met with a bitter surprise: the croissant was certainly from the previous day and was burnt, possibly usable for javelin throwing. Place to avoid also for the prices.

22/08/2024: Nice place, tidy and furnished with care. We ordered some fries and some pizzas. Served quickly. The chips are good and the pizzas are excellent. A special note for the staff: very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended. Update after a few years: I fully confirm the previous review. Availability and friendliness definitely 5 stars. At the end of dinner the owner presented us with a welcome local delicacy. we will return. Surely.

07/08/2024: Il ristorante mi ha sempre incuriosito durante le mie visite a Rivello e finalmente e’ arrivato il momento di buttarsi!! Ottima sorpresa!!! Le Pizze sono squisite e ben farcite. L’Accoglienza genuina e gentile ci farà sicuramente tornare e ce la farà preferire ad altri ristoranti che vivono di una nomea guadagnata negli anni ma che non ha saputo aggiornarsi Grazie e continuate così

17/08/2024: Qualità Inaccettabile Sono tornato all’Aia dei Cappellani dopo qualche anno e ne sono rimasto totalmente deluso. In particolare, già dagli antipasti, ci sono state servite delle patate inequivocabilmente scaldate e preparate ALMENO il giorno prima. D’altronde, il fondo lo abbiamo toccato con il primo piatto: Lagane e fagioli. I fagioli erano totalmente assenti; eravamo 8 commensali ed abbiamo contato esattamente 9 fagioli!! La cosa davvero inaccettabile è stata però soprattutto la pasta, stracotta oltre la soglia della mangiabilità. Basta guardare la foto che allego alla recensione…Il secondo? Anche in questo caso credo che la foto si commenti da sola. Già al primo piatto abbiamo fatto presente la cosa al cameriere che anziché riportare al titolare ha preferito rispondere ai nostri commenti dicendo che almeno qualche commensale il piatto lo avessero lasciato vuoto. Peccato che quei commensali, il piatto non se lo fossero proprio riempito! Cosa dire… dopo aver pagato i nostri 40 euro a persona abbiamo fatto presente direttamente l’accaduto al titolare che si è limitato a porgere una parola di scuse di circostanza.

16/08/2024: Antipasti da supermercato persino la "bruschetta" era anonima , il primo previsto "Pasta e fagioli" freddo e senza fagioli...., Secondo " Pancetta arrostita" grassa e bruciata.... Prezzo finale € 37,00... Ciascuno tragga le proprie conclusioni....

01/08/2024: Cena fantastica , drink buonissimi e cameriere molto simpatiche (mancia molto apprezzata). Patatine offerte dalla casa e lampada magica per far capire se avere un altro drink o meno. Per chi offre qualcosa alle cameriere (come minimo giro in barca) si ha una buona compagnia.

Friendly waiter...at least that. Advise? Don't go there! Better to starve. I reply to the owner here: Look, it was probably a bad evening; From your site we expected quality typical Lucanian cuisine and to us it seemed more like a midday work menu cuisine. We had a small appetizer, a first course, a second course, and two side dishes in total. The review is absolutely not due to the price. 03/06/2024: Classic village tavern, beautiful courtyard with stone fountain, if you want to taste the Lucanian culinary tradition, this is the right place.
