24/03/2025: We spent a pleasant evening with friends, ate excellent dishes of Lucanian cuisine revisited. Right portions Everything prepared with excellent quality ingredients. Excellent as desserts the maritozzi with vanilla whipped cream and crusco peppers from sentite I absolutely recommend it!

20/03/2025: Piccolo locale situato nella zona di Baragiano Scalo, in cui un menù di carne e pesce (e pizza la sera) la fa da padrone. Semplice mise en place, porzioni giuste presentate in modo gradevole, qualità accettabile con qualche dubbio lecito sulla freschezza del pesce, a mio dire qualcosa di congelato c'era. Nota di merito alta a l'unico cameriere presente (di domenica), che si dimenava tra i tavoli cercando di soddisfare velocemente le richieste degli ospiti presenti (non pochi), complimenti. Prezzo ragionevole.

26/02/2025: I don't usually give a negative review to a business but this time I will. Let me start by saying that I have had lunch and dinner on several occasions but today in the company of a dear friend we decided to get up even before ordering. We found our table dirty, the place cold and the staff decidedly rude and presumptuous. I highly recommend choosing other venues to avoid negative experiences like ours!!

26/02/2025: Non uso recensire negativamente un'attività ma questa volta lo farò. Premetto che ho pranzato e cenato in diverse occasioni ma oggi in compagnia di un caro amico abbiamo deciso di alzarci ancor prima di ordinare. Abbiamo trovato il nostro tavolo sporco, locale freddo e il personale decisamente maleducato e presuntuoso. Consiglio vivamente di scegliere altri locali per evitare esperienze negative come la nostra!!

20/11/2024: Abbiamo assaggiato i cibi DOP di Rotonda (melanzana rossa e fagioli bianchi) e abbiamo trascorso piacevolmente la cena, soprattutto grazie alla gentilezza e disponibilità dello chef e del personale di sala, pronti a soddisfare ogni nostra curiosità e richiesta. Da provare assolutamente!

25/10/2024: Siamo arrivati, in coppia, all’apertura, intorno alle 19:30. Siamo stati accolti con garbo e gentilezza e abbiamo degustato i vini (sia rosso che bianco) prodotti e imbottigliati dalla casa con un abbondante antipasto di salumi, formaggi, verdure e ortaggi tipici. Per primo abbiamo optato per degli ottimi maccheroncini al guanciale in colatura di caciocavallo, per secondo una tagliata di manzo con porcini e contorno di patate al forno. Ottimo rapporto qualita’/prezzo. Consigliato a chi va alla ricerca delle prelibatezze del luogo.

25/02/2025: L'ospitalità e la squisita cucina lucana rivisitata della famiglia Sonnessa sono stati la ciliegina sulla torta di un meraviglioso week-end nel Vulture Melfese. Complimenti in particolare a Gabriele maitre di sala di ottimo. A presto.

02/01/2025: Realtà sorprendente. Vito e Gabriele, rispettivamente chef e sommelier, sono due fratelli che hanno nel dna la cucina e la cultura dell’ospitalità, preziosa eredità di famiglia. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli. Piatti della tradizione rivisitati con innovazione e raffinatezza. Cantina sbalorditiva: migliaia di etichette in una location dedicata che lascia a bocca aperta. Allego una brevissima rassegna fotografica che purtroppo rende solo in minima parte quello che si può trovare e l’esperienza che si può vivere a La Villa.

29/12/2024: il cibo era ottimo, il locale é particolare e suggestivo, tuttavia un po' troppo silenzioso. Grossa pecca é che vi é poca chiarezza sul menù, non presente menù cartaceo e non viene spiegata l'organizzazione del servizio, che in automatico é un menù fisso che comprende molte portate. Sono stati tuttavia cordiali a permetterci di pagare solo i piatti che abbiamo chiesto e quindi non l'intero menù

18/01/2025: Terrible experience! We left after half an hour without having had dinner. Rude and rude owner! Zero hospitality!

18/01/2025: Rude, grumpy and sour owner. Even though we had taken a ticket to wait for our turn, the lady made groups and groups of "male" kids pass by (10 of us women with reservations made several hours before) waiting there in vain. Very very negative...the blonde lady!!!

13/09/2024: Shameful! we sat down and my wife noticed bugs falling on the table. The problem was a lamp above the table. The waiter kindly showed us another table to set and we accepted. After we moved, the owner arrived and told us in an annoyed manner that we would have to wait 20 minutes to change tables and without waiting for an answer he left. In disbelief I approached to confirm and the self-styled "restaurateur" reiterates the absurd claim. To specify that we had booked. At that point we said goodbye to him but not without telling him what we thought of his education and professionalism. Keep away! Unfortunately I have to reply briefly and waste more time but the lies must be denied immediately. True that the waiter kindly suggested we change tables, false that I was kindly asked to wait a moment. I repeat, the owner approached me annoyed and rudely told me that I would have to wait 20 minutes! I was tired and hungry, I would have gladly waited a few minutes. I won't waste any more precious time.

28/03/2025: I usually write good reviews, but unfortunately this time it is impossible for me: the bar is very dirty, hygiene standards clearly not followed; I went in the afternoon to have a coffee, but I found a terrible environment: drunk people intent on continuing to drink alcohol, especially the owner and staff, in fact I wondered if it was accessible to the public at that time, unfortunately it was. In addition to this, there are also annoying people (always the owner and staff) who do not think twice about making sexual jokes and very annoying to women, including myself. Abhorrent experience, unfortunately it is not possible to select zero stars, but I will definitely not go back (I do not want to risk contracting something due to the dirt) and I do not recommend it especially to women.

16/02/2025: The pizzeria da Massimo is a guarantee. The pizza is fantastic, with quality ingredients and it is the only pizza that I can eat all of it without feeling heavy. The staff is friendly and kind. The place is welcoming, easy to reach and with parking. I highly recommend!
