30/08/2024: 2 days before we were there we met the owner on our walk. Very very friendly. When we said we didn't have a vehicle she told us we should come at 7pm instead of 8pm when they open. We did that too and she gave us a nice place. We then ate bruschetta twice, wonderfully fresh small tomatoes with rocket and dried peppers. Then a pizza salami and a capricossa. We drank cola and shandy. We felt good in this pizzeria today. When we paid we had €27 on the bill for everything. At the end we wanted to say goodbye and thank you when the boss asked a man to drive us to our facility, 2.5 km away. Really great on the unlit streets, thank you Grazie. I recommend it with all my heart ❤️ heartfelt congratulations to the owner/chef...the staff, you are fantastic! Lucky to have found you by chance. If you want to eat divinely in Matera, come here! Unfortunately we couldn't come back because we had to leave the same day, we were very sorry not to be able to return to this wonderful place ❤️ I hope for a next trip, in the meantime dear greetings from Rome...

23/02/2025: Characteristic location, a typical Matera cave dug into the tuff, various local wines produced by the restaurant, local dishes, some revisited in a Lucanian way, what can I say, highly recommended

03/09/2024: Rustic kiosk where you can eat an excellent roast lamb or kid and offal rolls, gnummarid, fantastic, right first and appetizers without defects but also without merits, fantastic place, but I'm biased because it is linked to ancient memories, but if elsewhere you die of it feels great in the heat.

27/08/2024: Sono stata in questo fantastico posto quasi per caso, avendo dormito al glamping di accettura che dista pochi minuti. Che dire? Tutto fantastico, location semplice e genuina così come le ottime proposte culinarie. La carne arrostita è strepitosa, morbida e cotta al punto giusto, la simpatia del titolare e delle ragazze che servono ai tavoli è la ciliegina sulla torta di una bellissima cena! Super consigliato!

03/09/2024: I'll make it short: I have two passions in life. One is peppered mussels and the other is fried. The pepperoni here is the best I've ever had. Really how it should be, not that rubbish they give you. The frying is spectacular. The environment is not refined, the guys who serve the tables are inexperienced (even if they work hard), but if I put everything on the scale I can only recommend coming here. Leave the shiny stuff alone. They do well on Instagram, but then you end up disappointed. Here you can eat properly at a fair price. Let's hope it stays that way!

26/03/2025: Very friendly and welcoming owner, he recommended some traditional local dishes, I must say very good. Quality/price.. excellent ratio. I recommend it, it's worth it both for the 🍕 pizza and as a restaurant. During my stay in Matera I went back several times.👍👍👍

24/03/2025: Rude waiters with a careless attitude and terrible service, minimal quantities of food and tap water. Bring expired sauces and the staff's response was "it doesn't matter anyway". terrible place, I don't recommend it to anyone.

23/02/2025: We celebrated my son's 18th birthday party at the Groove. After evaluating various options in the city, Groove was the location and offer that most impressed me. And in fact the evening went very well. The place frees itself from the formalities of the rooms, is youthful and is managed with great professionalism. Food, location and service lived up to expectations. Strongly recommended. Furthermore, the animation by Ludovico Musica & Animazione was the icing on the cake.

25/08/2024: Very pleasant evening, in a suggestive location, the fish menu is of great quality. The service is kind and attentive, and Alessio was a great advisor. I highly recommend it

24/08/2024: The food lived up to expectations. The menu consists of a few dishes and is on a laminated sheet (I would at least improve this aspect). The location is very suggestive but sad to see how a historical heritage has been cannibalized by numerous commercial activities.

24/08/2024: Sono rimasto deluso dalla scortesia e dalla maleducazione del personale (almeno della persona che con cui abbiamo interloquito). Pensano solo ed esclusivamente al denaro, quando si entra nel locale non vedono persone, ma solo portafogli. Andate altrove, i materani sono persone per bene, non come quella gentaglia. Mi auguro con tutto il cuore che il resto del personale sia diverso da questo individuo che purtroppo abbiamo avuto il dispiacere di incontrare. Fatti un bagno di umiltà.
