A decent first course, but the second course based on mixed fish, prawns, cuttlefish etc., despite having assured me of freshness, we found everything on the plate defrosted, tasteless and dated.... inedible. We preferred to pay and not order anything else. We were probably unlucky since others have written good reviews.

21/04/2025: On holiday in Matera we were attracted to this place, which is located a stone's throw from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, for its cleanliness and minimalist design but with attention to detail, such as the chrome plating of the cutlery. Another important feature: the space reserved for each table, well above the average of other rooms. There are many pizzas on offer, red and white, but you can also choose burgers or other dishes. The prices are very honest. The kindness of the staff far exceeded expectations.

05/05/2025: The echo of the river 😍 a fantastic experience on Easter Monday,...the location externally appears particularly well-kept and scenic, the internal environment equally well kept.....clean, another important thing! excellent food!!! a very polite and kind lady served us at the table, attentive in case something was missing and immediately ready to bring it at the table! I highly recommend it

16/07/2025: Luogo pessimo: signora scortese alla cassa, acqua gelida perché non è acceso il riscaldamento in piscina quindi è impossibile bagnarsi, domenica scorsa mi reco da Icaro per trascorrere una bella giornata, ma le mie aspettative erano troppo alte, proponevano di fare l acqua gym ma nessuno entrava in piscina, era vuota, per via della sua bassa temperatura. Concludo dicendo che i proprietari pensano solo a guadagnare senza poi garantire i servizi, che schifo. E non consiglio a nessuno di andare da Icaro, ma recarsi alle Orme che è letteralmente l opposto e offre servizi nettamente migliori (soprattutto per i riscaldamenti in piscina).

20/07/2025: It was an excellent lunch; we ate on the terrace, which has a beautiful view. The dishes were good, especially the peppered mussels and the first course (strascinati with sausage, Matera bread, and crusco peppers on a caciocavallo cream that was out of this world). The ingredients seemed high-quality. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Good value (also considering the very central location).

13/07/2025: I returned to Kappador after some time away, and I can say that the experience was even better than I remembered. We dined on the terrace with a view, in a truly enchanting atmosphere. Everything was impeccable: attentive service, carefully prepared and flavorful dishes, quality ingredients, and a presentation that demonstrates care and passion. I found a place that had grown, improved in every detail, without losing its distinctive authenticity. An evening with friends that turned into an experience to remember. Congratulations!

04/04/2025: The products of the Sant'Anna bakery are always very good. Every time I go down I always take at least two packs of Buccuniett with me to Parma. Tina, Angelo and Lucia are always very kind.
