Nice atmosphere and attentive service. The food is good, but more theatrical in its name than in its flavor. We tried the skewer, the eggplant parmigiana, and the friggitelli/green chili peppers served with the whole stem were awkward to eat. The portions were too small.

If you want real local food in an authentic Italian setting then this is the right place. We've eaten here twice and really enjoyed the food and local red wine.

We chose this location while traveling along the Salerno/Reggio Calabria highway. I must say the restaurant's location is very unique, nestled in the village of Maratea amidst its quaint streets. We had a first course and a second course, and I must say both were very well cooked. Everything was tasty. The service was attentive and very friendly. Recommended. Highly recommended.

They practically set up in an alley, very characteristic, good food and for me who comes from Florence, absolutely low prices.

14/05/2026: This restaurant has a rich cultural heritage; it's nearly 100 years old, and the building itself is over 100 years old. That's why it received a cultural award, which is quite unique. The food is Southern Italian cuisine. Local red peppers (I didn't take a picture) are used in the dishes, and they're very fragrant. Please see the photos for food descriptions. Overall, it suited my taste. Personally, I think everything—from the sourdough bread and cheese platter to the raw meat platter—was delicious. If you're ever in this area, I highly recommend trying it. 👍🏻😊
