20/07/2025: We had dinner on July 19th, coming from the Tramutola water park, so you can imagine how sunburned we were... We sat down, the first thing was water and wine... you can't serve room temperature water unless specifically requested, the same goes for wine, we were forced to ask for ice, furthermore the lighting in the otherwise very nice room was insufficient because many of the bulbs were out or burned out (high electricity consumption?) The manager solved this inconvenience by installing battery-operated wall lights that illuminate the table, which would obviously be dimly lit. The food was average and the prices were so-so; a small plate of boiled potatoes with mushroom aroma €4.50 is a bit excessive. The service was good, the staff was quick and friendly, surely at these prices there are better in the area. We definitely won't be returning!!

23/07/2025: A quaint trattoria serving traditional Matera dishes. Courteous and helpful staff, a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent and the portions were absolutely generous!!! We ordered a seven-course appetizer featuring typical Matera dishes, thinking each course would be a "taster"... but in reality, each course was a truly generous meal, even for two people!!! The selection of cured meats and cheeses was also very good... Highly recommended!

07/07/2025: We walked a long way to get to this place. According to Google maps and the opening times posted on the door the place was supposed to be open, it was not. So. I know nothing about it but, I did discover Da Vincento down the did street and that was great.

30/06/2025: Restaurant where you can appreciate the real Lucanian cuisine of quality and with fair prices. From appetizer to dessert, all typical Lucanian. Here you can eat the real Peperone Crusco

23/07/2025: We stopped in Lauria on a day trip and, without a reservation (it was Tuesday), went to the restaurant, which has two dining rooms: one very welcoming inside and one outside. Since it was July, we were outside, partly because the temperature was perfect. We started with a trio of bruschetta, fried cod with cruschi peppers, and a pizza with Lucanian flavors. Everything was excellent, and the pizza was truly delicious, as a Neapolitan says. It will be a pleasure to return; the staff is super friendly.

25/06/2025: Historic restaurant that unfortunately I had never had the pleasure of visiting. On Sunday 22nd, returning from Maratea, we stopped for dinner. My wife opted for a slice of beef while I wanted to try the pizza. And I was right. Pleasant surprise. Contemporary dough, excellently leavened and quality products. Excellent digestibility. I then had the opportunity to chat with the owner, a kind and friendly person. He spoiled us the next project which concerns the opening of the pizzeria in another location soon. Obviously I will also go to visit the new location. Better late than never.

25/06/2025: We were looking for a place to celebrate our little Luca's communion and we found this enchanting place through acquaintances... as enchanting as the nature that surrounds it. Riccardo was immediately kind and helpful, we were spoiled for choice on the first courses, in the end we fell on the ravioli, with a sauce with real tomatoes and an exquisite ricotta, instead on the lamb (soft as butter) as a second course, we had no doubts in choosing it. Genuine cuisine with zero km ingredients. Beautiful day with lots of sun, even if with a lot of wind, which however did not prevent us from staying outside and enjoying the show of the two ponies, the goats and the ducks. I must say that the most beautiful thing was the presence of Mr. Mario, a tireless worker, who at each course told us some curiosities about the dish or the place. We really felt at home. Thank you for the hospitality, we will definitely come back to visit you. Gina, Michele and Luca.

23/07/2025: The first farmhouse in the Melfese Vulture area, then all the other restaurants in the area copied their variety of appetizers, but the difference lies in the preparation and the products they produce. The first courses with vegetables are a delight, I highly recommend it.

10/06/2025: According to them a menu starts at €15 1 appetizer 1 first course 1 second course Water, wine But my daughter bought a pizza Wurster and chips + a Cocacola in the middle and even for her it's not so much about the money but paying €18?

11/07/2025: Good evening, I want to report the extreme rudeness and impoliteness of the cashier (a tall gentleman with glasses) who usually works at the register. He was particularly disrespectful toward us customers and, more importantly, toward one of his counter assistants, who was there working. His only offense was taking my order while the impolite cashier was out cleaning (very annoyed by my wife's request) the table left dirty by other rude customers. When I returned to the register, I paid my order, and he responded very rudely. After a while, I returned to get the drinks from the fridge and inadvertently overheard him hurling insults at the assistant, who was guilty of taking my order. He also told her that we "customers" should have waited for him at the register and not ordered directly at the counter. I repeat, his manner was very rude and impolite, to say the least. I immediately approached the poor counter attendant and apologized for unknowingly causing her the problem, and one thing is certain: I will never set foot in the bakery again, and I'll also miss out on excellent products, and I'll create as much negative publicity as possible. Staff should be chosen more carefully, especially those who deal with customers!

02/07/2025: Good evening, I would like to share my very negative experience this evening..... Since it is not the first time it has happened, I would like to report the rude behavior of the gentleman at the houses this evening. 01.07.2025 on Tuesday, we arrived at 21.10 and there were 3 of us. Upon our arrival the gentleman already seemed annoyed with us. We sat down and one of us went to the cashiers to order pizzas. In a rude way we were denied the possibility of booking. There was all the time possible to make the pizzas and eat them. But it was not this that bothered us the most, but his way of doing things, rude and full of arogance. It was not just an episode this evening, but every time we come there, he behaves the same way, you have certainly lost us as customers. But not all your collaborators are dishonest. In fact, the guy who works behind the bar counter is a very nice person and very prepared in doing his job, thanks to him, we came back, we came back. Thanks
