13/12/2025: A complete waste of time and very poor management. We made a reservation through the restaurant’s official website, which was confirmed for last Tuesday. When we arrived at the restaurant at the reserved time, the place was completely closed. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. If the restaurant is closed, reservations should not be accepted, or at the very least guests should be informed in advance. avoid

13/12/2025: A restaurant tucked away from the chaos of the city center, offering a friendly and attentive welcome. The ambiance is charming, housed in a large, well-designed cave. The menu is varied, featuring traditional products, often with a modern twist. I surprisingly ate an excellent fresh sea bass, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. The wine list is extensive. The price is above average for the local area.

30/11/2025: Pizzeria Invidia's great strength is its service: the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and fast, deserving of four stars on its own. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. I didn't like the food, and especially the pizza, at all; the quality, in my opinion, was poor. The atmosphere also doesn't help: the place is overly crowded, and there's a bothersome smell of smoke in the air, making the atmosphere heavy and unpleasant. In short, if they improved the quality of the food and the atmosphere, avoiding excessive smoke and managing the crowds better, things could change, but for now, we're not there yet.

24/11/2025: November 24th we passed through Policoro to Brindisi, we stopped at this pizzeria, Super, welcoming staff, excellent quality pizza, clean place, everything EXCELLENT

16/11/2025: An excellent lunch at Agriturismo Crescente: a perfect place for those seeking tranquility, authenticity, and true connection with nature. The ingredients are all home-grown, fresh, and delicious, and the fixed-price menu allows you to enjoy the day without any surprises. We enjoyed every course; everything was truly delicious. The outdoor spaces and the presence of animals make it ideal for children, too, who can play and learn about country life in safety. The road to get there is a bit winding, but that's perfectly normal in Pollino and totally worth it. Highly recommended for quality, atmosphere, and authenticity!

11/10/2025: We stayed at Borgo la Tana during the two central weeks of August. The property is beautiful, with well-kept gardens and spacious rooms—ours, a mini-apartment—with a small table and chairs outside to enjoy the cool evening breeze. The rooms are extremely clean and practical, equipped with drying racks, handy soap dispensers for both shower and hand soap, and a wall-mounted hairdryer. The entire staff was very friendly, from the cleaning ladies, always ready with a smile and ready to "fix" the mess on the beach, like sand and pebbles everywhere, to the waiters, who were also present but not pushy. The cuisine is varied, with both local and non-local meat and fish dishes, and there is a discreet and efficient restaurant manager who oversees the main meals. The property's true treasure, however, is Mr. Aldo, a man in love with his homeland, provided us with information on the main beaches to visit and any special offers available at the resorts, right from the first evening. He also provided pocket-sized brochures to take with us to reach our desired destinations. Finally, a special mention for the self-service breakfast we enjoyed every morning: homemade cakes, traditional pastries, fresh figs picked every morning, and honeycomb! 23/09/2025: We arrived as guests for a few nights. The rooms were excellent, clean, and the air conditioning worked well. On the first evening, we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. It was tidy and the service very friendly. For us, it was very bright, which perhaps made the atmosphere a little less romantic. You can clearly see what you're eating. Both the tuna and the swordfish were overcooked and dry, but that might be due to the Southern Italian way of preparing them. For hotel guests, there's a breakfast buffet next to the pool. When we arrived, we thought it was a sandwich shop, but you can point to what you want and it's brought to you. Again, the service was very friendly. Swimming caps were required for the pool, an old Italian tradition we've encountered less and less frequently, this year only at Borgo La Tana.

24/08/2025: In the heart of the village of Aliano, the baking expertise comes to life, creating exquisite sweet and savory treats. Needless to say, everything is exquisite, carefully prepared, and served with kindness. The shop also has a couple of tables, in addition to those available outside.

21/08/2025: A great find! A bakery with a wide variety of fresh and delicious baked goods, from classic breads to local specialties. The quality is evident, and the selection is varied. The option of relaxing at the outdoor tables is also very pleasant. Ideal for those who want to enjoy something delicious in a simple and welcoming atmosphere. Recommended!

30/09/2025: Very good pizza at a very good price. Good beer. We ate in the garden, and the owner noticed we were constantly swatting away wasps. He came over, apologized, and invited us inside. Respect.

11/10/2025: A unique show, beautifully organized by Lucanian director Giampiero Francese. It all began about 25 years ago, even professionally, for Lucanian director Giampiero Francese, who returned last year to direct the Cinespettacolo "La Storia Bandita" in the Grancia Park of Brindisi Montagna.
