15/08/2025: The atmosphere and location were very nice, as were the staff and the service, which was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. Many dishes were sold out (the tripe and the fusilli). The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses also included other dishes (all potato-based): stewed fava beans, cruschi peppers, followed by cavatelli with cherry tomatoes and ricotta cheese, and cavatelli with breadcrumbs. The pasta was overcooked and I think precooked. It must have been a bad day. The prices are absolutely not high.

12/10/2025: Everything was perfect. Excellent meat and a wide selection, with many unique delicacies. The desserts were also exquisite, with special mention for the salted caramel ice cream and the tiramisu. Truly excellent. One caveat: during these first cold days, it would be helpful to turn up the heating a bit, as the place was chilly at times. But it's really a small thing, as the atmosphere exudes warmth and a welcoming atmosphere.
21/09/2025: The meat is of sufficient quality. The side dishes are unmemorable. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. A more engaging and cheerful service wouldn't hurt.

12/01/2026: Until today, it was my favorite lunch break. Starting tomorrow, it won't be anymore. You can't "invite" a customer to leave if they've just finished a bite, just because there are other customers waiting outside and you're afraid of losing them. Those are fast food restaurants, but even there, they don't "invite" you to leave your table today. I'm regretfully changing my review and will go for lunch somewhere with more customer service. P.S.:
You don't hypocritically apologize when you send someone away. You take responsibility. Best regards, 👋🏻

08/11/2025: The food was excellent, with generous and delicious first courses and a well-cooked and delicious mixed roast. The owner (cook) was very attentive to his work and even came over to check if everything was to our liking. We'll be back for lunch today. I recommend it to everyone.

24/11/2025: The interior is minimalist and basic, while from the outside you'd never guess it was a restaurant.
Regarding the food, I'd say it wasn't anything special. Among the many items, the only dish that stood out was the cod bites with caramelized onion and BBQ sauce. In fact, because we liked them, we ordered them again, but on the second try, the inside was frozen. We reported this to the waiter, but in the end, they didn't even take them off our bill.
I'm sorry, but I won't be returning.

08/12/2025: Excellent products, the pizza rossa is delicious, and the southern strudel with black cherry is delicious. It's a shame we discovered it on the last day of our visit to the unique Matera.
Recommended.
I gave the ambiance 4 stars only because it's very small and the line is practically outside.

02/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve here and had a great time. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the dinner, lunch, and entertainment were all excellent!
01/01/2026: NEW YEAR'S EVE DINNER – AWFUL EXPERIENCE. ⭐️
Upon arrival, they assigned us a table for four, even though there were five of us and we had paid full price for the fifth place (two weeks in advance).
Terrible organization from the start.
The only positive aspect of the evening was the show. Otherwise, the dinner was of very poor quality, with questionable ingredients and pairings, and absolutely not worth the price.
The worst came when, during the evening, we were asked to pay for a full dinner of €120 for someone who had only consumed the €50 kids' menu, as agreed upon previously. An absurd, embarrassing, and unacceptable request.
We left the room at 1:00 PM.
€120 completely wasted.
Never again.

06/10/2025: We had a great dinner there with a friend who lives in Rotondella. She said it was the best and we totally agree.
It is a family run restaurant and they were ready to give us some of the local delicacies. We had the antipasto platter, then specialty pie called L’Patizz, one stuffed with pork the other potato and green peppers. Then dried and then quickly fried red peppers, called peperoni cruschi - very tasty and crunchy.
We also tried the local pasta Frizzole co middiche. The pasta is hand rolled and curled with an iron rod.
The chef came out to talk to us and it was a very friendly place. A very enjoyable evening.
31/08/2025: We ate on a panoramic terrace with a spectacular view. Excellent sausage, eggplant, salad, and ricotta tart.
We returned two days later. Same table, same view. Falagoni calzone with potatoes and onions as an appetizer. Frizzuli as a first course: handmade pasta with a mixed meat tomato sauce and breadcrumbs. Ricotta and chocolate tart.
Everything was excellent, and the lady serving the tables was very friendly.
